Great quiet getaway in November!

Great place to relax and listen to the waves!

The house was very accurate to the listing. Pics are accurate. The beach and water could not be closer. We had a super quiet and nice stay. My brother and I were there fishing. The place was clean but they cleaned the fridge with bleach which was a little off putting but i would recommend staying here.

Paradise found! This place is amazing and so beautiful. This is my second stay here and I have not been disappointed! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home.

The house was fantastic! We loved everything about it (except the stairs - lol)! The kitchen appliances are new and worked great. I would recommend bring stuff for small waves, snorkeling, fishing and seeing wildlife. We rented a paddle board from Sea Dog Rentals. They delivered! We went to the USS Alabama in mobile, took the dauphin tour at the marina, walked around the fort and went to the aquarium. Lots to do on the island. Overall fantastic and super fun for the family.

We loved that the house was so close to the beach. We also knew that there was a public beach next to us. The problem was that people would set up behind the house and if we didnt put our chairs out at 6am., we would not be able to enjoy the ocean. I was informed there was nothing that could be done unless they were on our deck. Basically you are paying for the convince of getting to walk out onto the beach but not privacy. I just wished that honest rewiews would have been posted so i could have made different choices. House was nice and clean but not what i expected.

This was exactly what we were hoping for as a get away summer vacation. The house was clean and maintained well. The gulf was right off the deck. You could hear the ocean all night and the days were incredible. We enjoyed the beach and gulf every day of our stay! This was a big time winner for our family.

We loved the house as it is right on the water. Even being next to the public access to the left the beach was never crowded. The house was clean and as I expected it. The only things that would improve the stay would be added furniture on the patio as there was only one picnic style table. There was also debri and nails in a pile near the house which could have happened from a hurricane but haven’t been picked up yet. Otherwise great house and would stay again if patio furniture was added.

Our 2nd time coming to the island. And we loved this houses view and closeness to the beach. We will definitely rebook if it's available next year. Bring your own coffee, filters and kitchen spices as that's not something they stock. Not a issue just unexpected for us as it's been standard in our other short term rental stays. Cheers

The house needs some maintenance. I realize that being on the beach is the big draw, but with limited food options we had to cook most of our meals. The stove is old and needs replaced. We had to complain to Vacasa because the home wasn’t clean. We had to replace shower curtains due to mold. The view and beach are fantastic!

We had an absolutely wonderful time when we visited last week!!!! The home definitely needed some repairs on some things, but the view was just breathtaking…we had an issue with a ceiling fan not working when we first got there, and vacasa sent the maintenance man right away to get it fixed…he was also very prompt in bringing us a new propane tank so we could use the grill…our family thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely consider visiting again!!!

Quiet and right on the beach. Loved watching the sunrise and sunsets right off the deck. Plenty of towels and kitchen accessories, they even had a coffee pot, Keurig, and electric tea kettle. The layout is perfect, living room and kitchen are in-between 2 bedrooms on each side. It's a little out dated, but nothing that hindered our stay. Make sure you park where you can visibly see some rock, I got stuck in the sand trying to get too close to the stairs. Thankfully management came right away and pulled me out. They were amazing to work with and super nice.

Overall family friendly environment. Good variety of pots, pans dishes for large family. One highlight for our family was a pod of dolphins that swam past the house one morning during our stay. The kids (including teens) enjoyed building sandcastles from items we brought from home. It was a nice vacation spot!

BE WARNED rental property. Loved the house and view. It was awesome being directly over the water, with 1 major SAFETY HAZARD! There were HUNDREDS of loose roofing nails and deck screws on the deck and the sand directly around the house. Me and my wife couldn’t relax knowing our 3 kids under 10 could get hurt. I left a pile of screws for the property manager on a bench by the back door. There’s also a pile by one of the deck post. Not to mention the ones we put in the garbage can. I tried to upload pictures but the platform doesn’t allow. We have previously used Meyer vacation rentals a few times and vacasa rentals once with no issues, but this was unacceptable! ALSO watch out for the drive way. It says 3 cars can fit, but they have to be back to back. You have to pull in straight. We got stuck and had to be pulled out. We were told this happens all the time, but no mention on the site.

Dauphin island is amazing! The house is perfect for you to sit on the deck and watch dolphins literally all day. Very clean. House is on the smaller side but worked great for our family. Would book again

Great location, views, and space for our family!

I cant remember the last time we have ever stayed in a rental house that was so clean, the cleaning company they used were amazing, went above and beyond. We had a taxi drop us off, so we had no way to get off the island. We had past the company leaving and had just mentioned where we could get some dreft detergent for our children, The next day walked out on our front porch and there is was… truly felt blessed! The house itself is great, perfect location right in the middle of the island front row amazing views! Seen dolphins most mornings. Would definitely stay here again… only thing I would suggest is to have some blinds in the bedrooms that face the ocean for changing purposes.

If you enjoy being "on the beach" this is the place. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it worked out OK. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything was as expected. There is outdoor shower on front steps and hose on the back deck. Everything functioned but somethings were well loved. Only thing I would have liked to known was... That it was right by the neighborhood cut throw for the other side of the road so... not super private on beach. Husband liked it because he is social and more kids for our to play with at beach. We had a great time. House and view amazing!!! Eat on back deck every night!

It was a great place if your looking for a beach front property. It was semi-private not to many people on the beach. Clean & comfy with a laid back feel.

Being right on the beach was great. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook and serve a meal. There was plenty of space in the house for our family of 7. I loved the doors to the deck. The windows were not able to be opened, so I let the property manager know and they said they would look into it. The response time was very quick!

This house was a beautiful stay for my family of seven. The layout was a perfect mix of cozy and space. We all enjoyed the little details. Board games, DVD's, books to read for adults and kids. They even left a handwritten note welcoming us as well as laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and plenty of towels.

Everything was cleaned with care.

The house is also very close to the water so we had sone spectacular views of the ocean.

A definite 5 star stay. Thank you so much.
