My Host was awesome with us. Everything was very clean and organized. Would look for availability of the same place for our next california trip

We came here for our ten year anniversary trip for four nights. Some of the other reviews don't do it justice at all. This home was pristinely clean, private, safe, beautifully decorated, and in a convenient location. It is on a completely independent lot which was hard to find in this price range. Make sure to ask other rentals if you share the lot at all, they might not disclose it/make it clear until you ask. You are not sharing any space with any other rental units.... and you have a huge front yard with ample street parking and space for two cars in the driveway. There was also an adorable private back yard with romantic lights and a table. The living room had a large awesome new TV not pictured in the current photos with Netflix and streaming/ample wifi. It also had a comfy pull out bed if you have extra guests. It was just us (a couple in our 30's) and the amount of space was luxurious and perfect. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was stocked with all of the amenities you would need and more. The location is awesome. You can see the beach when you turn onto the street. It's closer to the Safari Park than San Diego is (30 min drive) and we were able to Door Dash/quick Uber to amazing restaurants that blew us away (Mangia e Bevi for Italian and Blue Ocean Robata for sushi were our favorites). 7-11 is right behind the back yard and we found that so convenient to grab orange juice in the morning or a beer and snack at night with a ridiculously short walk. They had AC, and heaters that worked great for our rare Southern California cold nights. Easy modern check in. Quiet chill neighborhood. As someone who spends way too much time at work researching a vacation I would definitely book this amazing home again, and the owner was a sweetheart and very responsive.

House was cute and in a convenient location near many shops and restaurants. Our check in was any time after 3pm and we arrived a bit early but the place still being cleaned for another 20 minutes after 3pm. The place was clean for the most part but it smelled a lot like cigarettes which was an incovenience while we did have a toddler with us. We had to make a run to buy candles and air freshner to neutralize the bad odor. If you travel with kids or dont want to experince a smoking environment this is not the place for you.

The pros: locaton was close to the military base location was mid way to Disney and San Diego house was as described good for a small family Cons: The location feels unsafe the house does not have a dish washer the house did not have enough basic items (towels, dish towels, glassware, plates, etc.) The house gets very hot and there is only AC in the main room so the bedrooms do not get cool. you cannot open the windows due to bad area the outdoor space is run down we did not receive the check in instructions the day of arrival, I had to email for them. The house is fine if you are looking for basics, but if you want more this is not the property for you.

Very clean and the perfect place for a quick surf long weekend for our family! Many great restaurants close by! Loved our stay!

Was exactly as advertised. Great front and back yard for hanging out, close to the beach and lots of cool spots in Oceanside.

What a perfect location! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to visit. The space was clean and comfortable for our group of 4, and we enjoyed being able to hangout in such a lovely place. Would definitely stay here again!

If your just looking for a place to shower and sleep then this will work… BUT… it’s not in a good neighborhood. Lots of homeless around. Right next to a 7-11 convenience store. Very run down block. The yard looks just like the photos, very cute- I thought would be a great way for my kids to be able to be outside safely. But I did not feel comfortable letting my kids out of my site in that area. The house is very well alarmed and lots of security- but still just not an area I feel safe or comfortable in. House is cute. Slept 4 well. Could not imagine 6 or 8 people in it! Way too small for that. Stocked minimally- only 1 fork but multiple spoons and butter knifes. Dryer was nice to have to dry towels and swim clothes from the beach. Would not walk to beach from here, especially if you have kids. Only 3-5 min drive to parking for beach. Or 7-10 min drive to downtown Carlsbad. I gave it a 4 star to be kind. But I probably would not return primarily because of location.

We loved the yard, the washer and dryer, and the proximity to the beach. Land lord was friendly and very on top of communication. 5 stars, would highly recommend.

Nice little house. Needs a few things like working window shades and a bedside table. Worked pretty well for 3 adults and 1 kid. Near cemetery and homeless campouts. Walking distance to the beach. No beach items provided but Rite Aid store next door has boogie boards and other beach items. WiFi worked well. TV was nice.

Check in and out was super easy! The house was small but very clean. The bathroom is in between the two bedrooms which can make it a little challenging but we were only here for sleeping. The location was wonderful, within walking distance to anything. The yard was something that you do not always find in Cali so it was a very nice treat to have. I would highy recommend.

Check in was easy, parking was great, home was cute and checkout process was easy, not a long list of instructions or anything.
