Our family of 13 ranging from 2 to 68 stayed at the 1861 Farmhouse and it was perfect for us. Something for everyone. Great layout to accommodate everyone. It was super well appointed. The home maintains the historic character with all the modern conveniences. Grounds were beautiful. Host was excellent to work with. It clearly exceeded our expectations. Simply can't say enough great things about this property.

Our group enjoyed the spaces for conversation and recreation. We hope to be back.

We constantly commented to each other, how well equipped this property was From the history of the house and the barn, to the pool and the 4acres of running and hiding places, this family retreat has it all. We celebrated a 75th birthday, an engagement and honored the life of a lost son, brother and uncle. Memories each of us will treasure and… hope to repeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It was the perfect location and accommodation for a wonderful weekend of making lots of memories with all of our (married) kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the house was clean and well-equipped, with a rich sense of history. The property host (Heather) was extremely helpful, responsive to questions, and very easy to work with.

I cannot rave enough about our stay from the coziest, cutest property and home to the most wonderful host. 10/10 on all fronts!

What an excellent property that suited the needs of 12 people for a work retreat. Location was great to everything! Property management was responsive and offered proactive solutions. Pool was amazing feature on a hot weekend. Barn offered plenty of activities. Would recommend to anyone!

What an amazing property! Plenty of space to spread out but still have areas where our whole large group of 12 could gather. The pool was perfect, the party barn was so fun, and the theater room was the perfect cozy ending to each night. I also want a carbon copy of the kitchen in my house. We will definitely be back!

Our stay here started our perfect wedding weekend! From the rich history of the house, the amenities, location and the grounds of this estate were above our expectations. Heather (property manager) does a tremendous job with any questions before our stay and after. The only question we had was “do we really have to leave”….The home alone is fantastic and the pool, barn and acreage was the added plus. Definitely renting this again.

We had a terrific vacation. We have been taking our grandkids on vacation for many years. Due to some unusual circumstances our children are spaced rather oddly. They are in their thirties and forties, and their kids run from 9 months to 18 years. Trying to keep them busy is quite a chore. But not in your home. They all agreed this was our best time ever. This property offered a wide range of accommodations for many interests. From the children in our family to the oldest adults, everyone found a room or activity to their liking. The pool was well maintained and appointed with deck furniture and a picnic area where we spent most of our outdoor time. Indoor time was split between the multi-activity barn and the big screen room in the main house. Modern upgrades only enhance the original character of the property. Ample parking in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood really gave the feeling we were in a remote country large, while in reality we were a few minutes from community and commercial locations. Heather was great and responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again and give our strong recommendation.

This property is amazing! There is so much space inside and outside to enjoy. Our big family had so much fun swimming, playing games in the amazing barn, and could be together in the large kitchen. Heather was a great host! I would recommend this property to anyone!

Our family of 14 celebrated our family's Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays at Woodside for the second time. The house and grounds are simply amazing! The home is charming and well-appointed with anything and everything you can imagine needing. Our grandkids loved playing in the barn, and watching football (Go Blue!) in the movie room was awesome! Looking forward to spending the holidays at Woodside again!

This property is amazing! There is so much charm and character. We were in town for a family wedding, 10 of us stayed here very comfortably. The property was well maintained and the owners are very responsive. You’re close to many conveniences but feel like you’re in the country. The barn had so many fun activities. My family enjoyed the home very much!

This is my favorite VRBO that I have stayed in to date. It is a beautiful, well stocked home in an excellent neighborhood. We were on a trip with a group of teens for a convention that took place downtown Indianapolis. We had a hard time getting the students motivated to leave the house because there was so much for them to do there. They loved the media room and had a great time bonding while playing games in the barn. We made most of our meals at the house and had everything needed to do so. Our host was super accommodating and responded quickly to all of our questions. We hope to stay again sometime.

This was an excellent place to stay as a large group of friends and family for a wedding weekend. It is a clean, well stocked and comfy place that has a little something for everybody. The pool is great. Our group was happy and would return.

Wanted a relaxing getaway for the entire family. The pool was wonderful, the yard was spacious, and the house was very accommodating. Short drive for necessities. Everyone had a great time.

We spent the weekend celebrating our sons and son-in-laws birthdays with 4 families (12 people) and it could not have been more perfect. From the beautiful grounds to the in ground pool - Everything was perfect. With age ranges from 60 to 6 months we truly had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!
