Diese Campsite liegt direkt am Eingangstor zur Soussusvlei und ist eine im kreisangelegte Campsite. Unsere Campsite war sehr sauer und schön. Der Pool nicht so kalt wie in anderen Campsites. Zu der Campsite gehört ein Shop und eine Tankstelle, die aber gegen Abend zu macht und es ruhig ist

The kind of facility is what is expected and the area where facilities are, is good. Third time we visited the place to stay over and will do it again. We all like the place and enjoyed it. Prices are good and affordable.
The maintenance of the facility is clearly not what it should be. Taps are leaking, toilets were leaking and the Solar geysers are not well maintained. Recommend management to visit the individual facilities and water leakages will be repaired. Still the place is good for another visit!

Campsite with pool, and a gas station with shop, having fair prices. They do tire repair too. Close to the entrance to Sussesvlei
No cleaning done before we came, and we didn't have gloves or prober cleaning utensils,,,, not the best way to start the visit

The ablution blocks are really cool. The shower was very refreshing after a day in the desert.
My place was right next to the main road so didn't feel particularly private.

- Es gab eigentlich keine Mitarbeiter. Check-In war in der Tankstelle. Daten etc. wurden erst gar nicht aufgenommen (was üblich ist in Namibia)
- Klo war echt nicht sauber und die Spülung hat nicht gut funktioniert
- Wir waren auf dem Platz 8. Der Campingplatz liegt auf einer offenen Fläche ohne Bäume oder sonstiges. Leider wurde versäumt das Badgebäude an den Wind anzupassen. Der nachmittags bzw. abends entstehende Wind (+Sand) fegte durch den Stellplatz. Hätte man das Bad auf die andere Seite gestellt, hätte man etwas mehr Schutz.
- Sonnenschutz ist auch nur supobtimal gelöst, da nur einzelne Stöcke das Dach bilden. D.h. bei Mittagshitze besser unterwegs sein.
- Beim Pool gibt es nur wenig Schatten und keine Liegen. Also auch hier lohnt es sich eher unterwegs zu sein oder morgens bzw abends hinzugehen.

The location is perfect for access to the Park if you are not able to secure a campsite inside the park. Beautiful sunset views and night time visits from wildlife make this a memorable spot. The private bathroom and kitchen space plus great braai facilities plus a pool in the desert meant we had a great stay and it did what we needed it to do location wise.
The storm that arrived in the middle of the night, but makes for a good tale!

campsite 10 and 11 are very close to the highway. otherwise facilities were great.

The camp site facilities were excellent private hot showers and bathroom facilities. Good shop and fuel available at site
Went to the near by Hotel for their expencive and famous BBQ buffet. Worest meal we had in Namibia. little choice and poorly BBQ ed food. Wouldnt recommend this at all.
Would recommend the NWR cafe and resturant good food and well priced.

Nice camping site with views over the mountains in the distance. Half the price of our site inside the park with the same commodities and a concrete platform so that you don't carry so much sand around.
A little bit of noise coming from a kind of frisay party coming from the national park bar just across the road-luckily it was oveer at 10.30...

Well located campsite at the entrance of the national park. Campsites are well spread across the property, so offer privacy and and individual ablution block. Nice swimming pool centrally on the property

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean, and the location was close to the Sossusvlei gate. Everything was excellent! Thank you!

Very cozy camping next to the entrance of the national park. The little shop and gas station on the site is a big plus. Shower has hot water

Really close to the Naukluft Park Gate. Best place to spend a night before heading into Sossusvlei.
It can be quite windy, so you need to have a very solid good quality tent.

Nicely placed: just next to the gas station and very close to Sossusvlei entrance. A swimming pool in the middle of desert. The place was also very clean.
During the night you can hear the power generator more and less strong, depending on the wind orientation. Ear plugs recommended.
Beware of prices for tyres there, they are 2 times higher than the ones sold at Swakopmund.
