It was very clean and lin was friendly
Some of the furniture was dated and the biggest let down was the description. It said a stone throw from cheddar gorge 2.4 miles isn’t a stone throw , had to use taxis which was an added cost

Perfect location for our days out we want to do. Comfortable, clean ,quiet cottage. Equipped with every thing needed, towels, bedding and all the kitchen stuff etc and all the extra bits like tea bags, biscuits. Great local pubs for dinner.

It was amazing, lovely and spacious! We wanted for nothing had absolutely everything!
Buses in the village could have been a bit more regular but the hosts don’t have a hand in local transport.

Quarry Cottage is beautifully presented throughout, tastefully decorated and furnished, with fabulous kitchen, really spacious living room, plenty of dining space and lounge space. Effective central heating , very well equipped for guests. Great to have additional wc downstairs too. Lovely village, close to Cheddar and not far from Wells. Very pretty countryside surrounding. Pleasant sitting out area.

The location was v good.
The house was clean and comfortable, with a lovely downstairs space with open plan kitchen, sitting room. Enjoyed watching some Wimbledon after a day out walking.
Lovely bathroom with a good hot shower!
The bedroom decor is very dated. Could really do with a freshening up. One of the bedrooms has no storage for clothes and the linen on one of the beds wasn’t great. Cotton in summer would be preferable to the flannel type fabric which is too warm.

Very well equipped, everything you need for cooking. Ironing board and iron also provided. Nice outside area . Ideal location for visiting Cheddar.
Parking 2 cars a little tight but would get used to it.

Such a nice meeting from the the owner on our arrival, she made sure we were informed about the property, and was on site for anything at all . The property was extremely clean and it was warm " in January " the area , close te Cheddar is perfect.

The cottage was easy to find. Lin the host was lovely. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and warm. It's in a great location too.

Lovely location - easy to walk into Cheddar along a quiet lane. The kitchen was amazing - really big and loved the open plan layout so we could be sociable whilst cooking. Always a bonus to have a downstairs loo! Host was friendly and welcoming and the cottage was spotless!

The cottage was so beautiful and comfortable. It was also spotlessly clean.
The host was very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. Despite us being in the Mendips for work, we felt like we had a little holiday.
