This was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in for this area. A welcome basket greeted us as well as a notebook filled with area highlights. Positives included having the laundry service instead of having to bring our own sheets and towel. The lake and small beach area were perfect for sun and swimming. The second floor deck was nice, but we didn't get to use it much. Having internet was a plus, as was the washer and dryer. Some improvements that could be made- the floors were so noisy, whomever slept downstairs heard EVERY step made upstairs. The beds were fairly comfortable, one made noise with each turn in bed. The couches were "ehh," the room could have used a nice recliner chair. The check in after 4pm is not the best. Hotels allow early check in, it would be nice that if the house is clean and ready, the guests ability to check in would be appreciated instead of waiting. This was a very nice area and a nice home to spend our vacation.

The house was clean and had everything you'd need. There was a nice welcome basket with Rhode Island goodies waiting for us. It's a short drive to Scarborough Beach and Narragansett Town Beach. We also drove into Newport several times, which was about a 20 minute ride. The linen service included is a nice convenience and the central AC was great considering we got a week of very warm, humid weather.

House is well situated to make outings to Newport, the area beaches and even New Bedford and Mystic if maritime museums are of interest. The house lacked for nothing if you like working in the kitchen, use TV and internet and it was clean.

If I could have this house closer to the beach I'd book it every year. Certainly the beach is an easy ride but I love having the water in view. The house is appointed very well, there wasn't anything that I found missing. When family came to stay, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their space. We didn't have the best weather but I enjoyed every minute of my vacation💕

This property was very clean and had all the basic necessities. The welcome basket which included some local items was also a nice added touch. The location was in a quiet neighborhood, it was usually a short drive to any of the places we wanted to go (which we didn't mind). While the furnishings all appeared fairly new, the beds were unfortunately not comfortable for any of us. Extra blankets and pillows would also have been helpful. While the home appeared to be newly updated, the downstairs bathroom was also very limited for space. Since we spent the majority of our time out exploring the area, we were comfortable with what was provided at the house. Our exchanges regarding reservations and payments were prompt, however, all interactions were very formal and felt a bit impersonal. We sometimes seek suggestions from owners on any recommended places to visit or dine (some previously rented homes have even had preprinted local suggestions available when we arrived), but our interactions here were very limited. (This may not be a problem for some people, but we do appreciate having more of a connection w/ owners.) Information on how to check in was provided just a few hours prior to our arrival, and the code to enter was not sent until the time of check in. Again, since we had a long drive from out of state it was a bit worrisome that we had such little interaction prior to our arrival. Overall this property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay, but as a newer rental there may be a few things which could be addressed to make it even more comfortable for future renters.
