It’s now our home away from home in Kernersville when we visit our daughter. Perfect for us. Found nearby Triad Park this time. Great walking/hiking trails.

This was such a sweet, cozy spot for our family to stay while we were in the area for a lacrosse tournament. I appreciated the little touches so much.....plenty of coffee pods, snacks for the kids, ample toiletries and comfy beds!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were very prompt with everything, and the house was so cute and so clean! It was more spacious than what we imagined! And the neighbor was so sweet also, a fellow Texan like us! We will def stay again if we are back in the area!

This is our 2nd summer staying at Don and Karen's house. It was--again--clean, quiet, comfortable, and enjoyable. We are grateful for our family time on this trip!

The property met all our expectations. The host supplied most items one would need to cook and serve reasonable meals. Beds were comfortable and property was very clean. Host also supplied a few snacks to nibble on. The property is located approximately mid-way between Winston-Salem & Greensboro. Made it easy to attend graduation at NC A&T and celebrations afterwards in W-S.

Don, beautiful house! everything was perfect!! i didn't realize this house was beside my late Aunt & Uncle's house across the creek. They lived there in the 80's and mid 90"s!!! Lots of memories. I lived on Marshall Smith road Colfax back in the 80"s. I hope to get back there soon. Would love to stay there again & recommend to everyone. Michael Reynolds

This home was the cleanest I have ever seen! Was confortable and met all of needs. Close to highway, restaurants and shops!

The first word that comes to mind is how comfortable the everything was - the bed, the couch, the general ambience. We streamed our favorite shows through Air Play to the 72” TV. I would stay at this property again while visiting my daughter.

The house is very clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Everything is provided, including extra towels and dishwasher and washing machine detergent. It sits on a quiet street. The owners are very helpful. We will return whenever we visit our family in Kernersville.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we could have needed. Well stocked with toiletries, kitchen utensils and cookware and even snacks provided. Beds were very comfortable and had all the touches of home. We are relocating to the Greensboro area and this was a welcome place to land at the end of several very busy and stressful days. Our toddler loved having the yard to run and play in.

My husband and I were moving back to NC from AL and we needed a place to stay for two weeks while we were waiting to close on our new home. We found this great place through VRBO and it was amazing. Karen and Don are great host, and it is a wonderful, charming property.

We were visiting family in the area AND working, so this property was a great fit for us.

Lovely area, quiet. My grandson liked that he was able to run around explore and be a kid. It truly felt like hone away from home! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make him meals! The snacks provided was just an added touch! Thank you for making it a memorable visit! We will be coming back

We stayed here and hiked at Hanging Rock (about 45 min away) it was the perfect house very clean. Would 100% stay here again.

This was the perfect house for our stay. The host were great the entire time we were there. The house was very comfortable and had everything you needed to cook when we decidedto stay in. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with everything we needed. The host left snacks for us, everything was great. The neighborhood was quite and had friendly neighbors. We will definitely stay there again.

We had 4 adults in one toddler in the house and we had more than enough room. They even have a toddler's mattress in the spare closet. Huge trees all around. We will be rebooking!

We traveled for a 4 night family vacation. This sweet home was everything we needed. The tire swing in the front yard was the prefect thing for our 4 year old to play with. The home was clean and had convenient amenities for us. We would definitely recommend!

Very interesting location. It has the wonderful feel of being in the country even though it's near the highway. The birdsongs were amazing and inspiring for writing and the unit itself was as clean as a whistle. There's a live music venue (Saturdays) just a stone throw away but I missed that sadly but it's good to have it there as an option for things to do in the area.

We had such a good time as a family to mark the end of the school year and beginning of summer. We enjoyed activities in the area, use of the lake, smores around the fire bowl, and time in the air conditioned house to play games/watch movies. The house was clean, quiet and well-stocked with many thoughtful touches. Thank you Don and Karen!

We had a great state in this property. It’s a clean very well-maintained space. The host is amazing. Don was they are all the way if you had any questions. I highly recommend this property if you travel to Winston Salem and surroundings.

We enjoyed staying the house during market. The house is extremely clean. The kitchen I was well appointed and everything worked as expected. The beds were also comfortable. The owner is quick to respond and very helpful.

The home is nicely decorated in a quiet neighborhood with extra closet space, beds are very comfortable, spacious backyard & simple check in/out process. Don is great in being responsive & helpful if you have any questions/needs before/during your stay. This home is a great get away for a peaceful environment and still close to parks, restaurants, and the city. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Don!

The house is better than the pics! Owners had everything you could possibly need as far as small amenities there for you. Soap, shampoos, detergent, snacks etc. Mr. Don even supplied us with a great Christmas tree and holiday decor. Very homelike.

Wonderful stay!! We loved the personal touches! Quiet neighborhood. My daughter loved the tire swing! Snacks, oatmeal, granola bars, coffee, sugar, creamer, fridge staples, pantry Staples, fully stocked kitchen, pack & play, kids books & toys, laundry detergent, full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash.... What a great host!!!

Beautiful home with some excellent Chip and Joanna Gaines vibes. LOVED the whole place. Don and Karen were super helpful and wonderful hosts! Access to their pond and kayaks was so generous too. Loved the added touches like a fully stocked Keurig coffee station, snacks basket, and full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. They had a dishwasher with necessary supplies. The kitchen was even stocked with some nice extras like plastic wrap and aluminum foil, a few basic spices and pantry items. (So cool!! Wish we could have cooked in that kitchen!) Washer and dryer (thankfully my bf is narrow, I could not squeeze through to dryer and supplies) with all necessary extras. Even a back patio space to sit (for 4). We only used the king, not the two twins but the bed was super comfy and extra blankets were available. (Though if it sleeps 6 I missed looking for extra pillows, maybe in that twin bed room?) Bathroom was nicely supplied with extra linens. The sink faucet is a super neat thing too! (I'm sorry Don we knocked down the tension shower curtain rod but fixed it pretty easily.) The Roku tvs were brilliant!! My personal notes: since there was a snack basket and a microwave I would have loved to see a bag or two of microwave popcorn. (But my bf loved the cheez-its, oatmeal and poptarts! Thanks!) As a makeup wearer I bring my own wash cloth to not ruin white ones with that pesky mascara, so maybe a black "make-up" wash cloth might be better than disposable wipes (like some hotels supply either one). I saw a few menus in the kitchen drawer, but maybe you could have others that deliver or some local brochures from a travel center (we had no car and no info on the area) the guest book is nice to fins suggestions but would love to see more. We got a chance to visit Gyspy Road when they had live music and awesome food trucks. Also the Triad Farmers Market was something spectacular. Really great stay and we even caught some fireflies :)
