Luis & Chantal are without a doubt the most responsive hosts we have had the pleasure of working with. The home is lovely & has everything we need to thoroughly enjoy our stay.

This is our second stay at Casa Tropicál and it was another wonderful winter get away. Chantal and Luis are excellent hosts. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in private backyard. The house has all your needs covered. We will stay again!

We just spent two weeks at Casa Tropical and have already booked for 2024. Trust the listing. This home is lovely, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The garden and pool (with waterfall!) are private and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, muffins and bedside chocolates. Chantal and Luis were wonderful hosts, extremely responsive to our questions and requests. We also loved the whole Crystal Beach area, in particular the gorgeous beaches at Honeymoon Island State Park. We were close enough to Tampa, St. Pete and Sarasota to enjoy what those towns offered. The Greek restaurants and bakeries in Tarpon Springs were a revelation. Thank you, we highly recommend Casa Tropical!

We have rented numerous homes through VRBO. This was the best yet as many are less than advertised. This home is more than you would expect. The hosts are amazing and the house is spotless and appointed with everything you could want to make your vacation perfect. We will definitely come back. Chantel and Louis are amazing hosts.

Disclaimer... I do not know the owners or have any financial interest in this property. Short answer. Highly recommend. We have stayed at multiple VRBO properties. This one had everything. Anything you can think of has already been provided. The most well equipted property we have ever been to. When you travel. If you forgot something. No worries.. This property probably will already have it waiting for you. When you enter the home lots of small details had been pre planned for you. Take a moment and appreciate. The fresh fruit, danishes and chocolate by your pillow. Notice how the kitchen is well equipted with spices drinks and assorted foods. A coffee/ Tea bar equipted better then any 5 star hotel. Small details everywhere. Grill yep. But also charcole and lighter fluid. Bikes yep. But also helmets and bike locks. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Enough for 2 weeks. Toilet paper yep. Enough for a week. Games yep. Washer and dryer yep. An also provided all detergent needed. Pool yep. But not described is the little waterfall in the pool. Pool area was landscape with a peaceful and natural environment Community. Quiet day and night. Location convient to everything. Brochures of local activities are provided and was a great help in daily activities planning. This was my mothers first VRBO experience. I fear this property has set a standard other future properties will have difficulty matching.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and it was a very easy process! The house was great and tucked away in a quiet little community, perfect for relaxing! We both really enjoyed our stay and said we definitely would love to come back!

We were only able to stay for 5 days, but what a wonderful 5 days. We were able to visit with my mother-in-law who will be 99 in September(and entirely independent) and my sister- in-law and her husband. And of course we managed to spend the afternoons in the pool. Restaurants and shopping close by and great places to walk near the Gulf. We couldn't have had a better time.

I’ve stayed here before and this is a great location to visit family in the area. The house is always clean and many things to do in the area. I had no issues, just a wonderful stay. Thank you!

This was our second time staying and we've already rebooked it ! The owners are wonderful, the house is gorgeous, I can't find one negative thing to say - ONLY positive vibes ! Everything you need is there for you, Every thing is clean and up to date ! Pool is welcoming and warms up nicely in the warmer seasons. ! Hosts are a click away and respond asap when something is needed.

First time using VRBO and we were very pleased. The property was conveniently located to restaurants, breweries, bike trail, public transportation, beaches, shopping. Our hosts made us feel welcome with a “care package”. Chantal and Luis were responsive to all our needs. The backyard and pool area was private and relaxing. Kitchen was well equipped, beach and pool chairs were available along with bikes and other items to help you enjoy your stay. Chantal and Luis thought of everything! We will definitely be staying with them again.

Peaceful! Beautiful, perfectly supplied home! Kitchen had everything we needed plus Luis & Chantal gave us fresh flowers, fruit, and muffins as a welcome! Bed was very comfortable. Lots of space in the bathrooms and closets. We loved having the bicycles, lawn chairs, umbrella, and beach towels to use while we spent time relaxing at the beach. My favorite spot was having our meals and devotions at the table by the pool. Pool water was a bit cold for us but we enjoyed it anyway! There communication with us was always friendly and informative. Thank you kindly for a wonderful stay!

Would stay again, loved the set up

When we opened the door to the house, it was love at first sight. Beautifully decorated, warm and sunny, so many personal touches to make our stay feel like our home away from home. The pool was wonderful, the accommodations were five star. The house was comfortable and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many activities. We will be glad to visit again and look forward to the next stay !

The owners (Chantal & Luis) reached out & kept us informed from the time of booking through our stay. We did not need to contact them because we experienced absolutely no problems. The property & amenities were exactly as described. This house has everything you need!

I can’t say enough positive things about this rental and the hosts. We were in town celebrating a birthday. Upon check-in we found birthday balloons, cupcakes and a handwritten birthday card. It was an incredibly sweet and personalized gesture that made the birthday girl feel extra special. We had an issue with the AC, but the hosts were incredibly responsive and had the issue fixed ASAP. They kept in communication the entire time and worked with our schedule to get the repairs completed. The furnishings in the house were beautiful. The living room couch was comfortable and gorgeous, but there wasn’t much for foot rests if you are one who likes to put your feet up. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a fully stocked coffee bar, giant fridge and a variety of cookware. I also appreciated the extra large coffee mugs. A few things that are personal to me but nothing that would warrant a lower review. I am a chubby girl. The seating outside is very stylish, but was too small for me. I bought a camping chair from Walmart that quickly solved the issue. Also, I have knee issues. There is not a rail into the pool, which made it difficult to maintain balance getting in and out. Finally, apparently it was midge season. There were citronella candles outside, but they didn’t do much to keep the midges away. A fan outside helped a bit, but even with bug spray we left with lots of bites on our legs and arms.

We loved our stay here and wish we would have stayed longer. House is in a cute neighborhood and we are glad they had bikes we could rent and ride. Kitchen is well appointed and the yard and pool were Perfect.

My husband and I took a quick getaway week in Florida at this lovely home. We certainly enjoyed the pool, the gardens, the home and all of the little touches that Chantel included! I went biking on the nearby trail and we enjoyed downtown Dunedin, fresh seafood from Jensen Brother's and eating at some restaurants just south of Clearwater. Thank you to the host and hostess for a great getaway.

The house was gorgeous and was the perfect location. Crystal Beach is only a few blocks away, where I jogged every morning and walked to watch the sunset most evenings. So close to so many things to do! Clearwater Beach, Tampa, St Pete, downtown Dunedin, etc.... We were 15 min drive to Sunset Beach, Honeymoon Island and Tarpon Springs. We took a day trip to a winery in Orlando, only a 2 hour drive from the house. Chantal and Luis were the greatest hosts. They made us feel welcome, and quickly responded to any questions about the property and gave me a list of suggestions for the best place to go for a 40th bday. (They also had cupcakes and balloons waiting for us upon arrival, which was such a nice gesture) The house was very clean, along with the pool. We will be back to stay at Casa Tropical!

Home owners are great to work with and easily available. The home was clean and very convenient for two couples! Pool is a very nice added bonus. Backyard was inviting and a relaxing area. Great location! Close to a park where u can swim a great walking bike trail. Close to Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, and Clearwater. The only thing you will need is more time. We throughly enjoyed our time at the house and we were close to everything. When in the area we would totally stay here again. A very inviting home!

The rooms flow, and the antique pieces and light fixtures transport a nice home to a showstopper!The pond and landscaping (late February shows great promise of what is to come!) were like walking thru a botanical garden.Pool was refreshing after a long hot bike ride on the (closeby) Pinellas Trail.Lots of space for Yoga in the garden every morning.Beds were super comfy!Plenty of kitchen ware and knives that actually cut (so many miss this, but you all nailed it!)For early morning guests, you may want to put some kind of window treatment on the kitchen window.Seriously, if that's my only "wish" for this place- it's almost heaven!Thanks for a great week! we will look to return HERE!Nick & Sharon
