Wonderful house in the best location. It was great sitting on the deck in the morning watching the waves crashing 10 feet away from me. Watched breaching whales while sipping coffee. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck under the stars and listening to the ocean was perfect. The house was well stocked and everything worked. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view with majestic sunsets! House has everything we needed to cook and more. Comfortable beds with extra linens and towels. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and more! House was close to everything...restaurants, shops, beaches, and farmers markets. Peter responded when we needed anything.. wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent the last 10 days soaking up the sound of the ocean waves and the gentle breeze from the lanai of this wonderful property and we can’t wait to go back. The home is well appointed and clean! The kitchen appliances appear to be new. Although it was hot and humid during our stay, the A/C and ceiling fans made sleeping comfortably a breeze. And those sunset views are too pretty to put into words!!! Host is easy to work with and very responsive. We will be back!

Peter was a very gracious host. Responded quickly when contacted. Offered suggestions for places to go. House was well stocked with everything you would need, all you need to purchase is the food that you are going to eat. Amazing view!!! House was very clean, beds are super soft, and updated kitchen. The house was clean and well stocked. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths suited our family well. The only outage I had was the fact that I have difficulty standing so i needed a stool or plastic chair for the shower; like I use at home. I got one at Walmart. There are 2 cats that frequently came by the house. The folks before us noted that they fed them. The ocean wave noise made sleeping wonderful. This was our 2nd stay with Peter and we look forward to a return. He is a wonderful host.

This house was perfect for our family of 4. The view is great, location is convenient to anything in the Kona area and the privacy of a single home is welcome! Yes it's a bit pricier than a condo next door but the extra cost was well worth it for us!

We stayed in your beautiful house on the beach with our family of four. Views were spectacular, location was perfect. So private, wrap around lanai, lounge chairs in the lawn, its own access to the beach. It was walking distance to Ali’i gardens market place. A very short drive to Kona shopping area. The house had all the comforts and amenities that we needed. Everything in the house was organized and clearly labeled especially in the well equipped kitchen. We feel so thankful to have spent a few days there enjoying the ocean breezes, great views, beautiful sunsets. Peter was very responsive to all our questions and we had the most memorable experience and hoping to stay there again. Thanks

We rented this house the whole month of March. What an amazing time! The location of this house right on the water is so amazing! We spent most of our time when we were at the house on the lanai. We only ate three meals inside and never had the TV on. Peter, the host was great and fast at communicating with any questions we had. I know some of the reviews had mentioned the house being worn down, and things needed to be repaired. I could see that, but also after renting other beachfront properties in other states, it Has to be a real challenge to keep up with all the damage of the ocean sea salt air. Also, some people had complained about Ali’i Drive being very busy. I knew that ahead of time because we’ve been to Hawaii before and that is the main road along the ocean. It is pretty noisy sometimes at night but you’re still able to hear the ocean. The house was very well stocked, more so than a lot of other VRBO’s we have rented.. All in all, it could use some TLC, but would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful Hawai’i vacation! Mahalo Peter and Mei

We (2 couples) spent a lovely 2 weeks at Peter's home right on the water. The house was so well stocked with everything you can think of - pantry items, blender, coffee grinder, martini shaker, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, cooler, full-size toiletries, puzzles, binoculars, etc. Peter is an excellent host; so quick to respond to any queries. We had many cooler, rainy days (due to a Kona Low weather system) so we really loved having a hot tub on the deck! We spent several days on the small beach/cove a short walk down the stairs and over the lava. The location can't be beat - walking distance to the Poke Shack and a few minutes by trolley or car to the snorkel beach (Kahalu'u) or downtown Kailua. Mahalo nui loa, Peter for a great stay!

the property is on the ocean but it is also very close to a busy street @ a stop sign. We compared it to Disney land...used to be first class but with the amount of use... it is extremely worn. We imagined that with being able to rent on a regular basis, why shut it down for regular maintenance. Way too much used food in the cabinents.

We were very fortunate to have stayed at Peter’s house. He was a great host who answered any questions we had quickly. The house was perfect for us and was well stocked. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. And who can beat the sounds of the surf while sitting in the hot tub? Thanks, Peter for a wonderful time and sharing your home.

Absolutely loved everything about this place! It was clean and had everything we needed. The lanai and hottub were where we spent most of our time and the short walk to a secluded beach was so welcomed. We cooked in the kitchen several times, used the grill, and enjoyed the beach chairs, etc. Our favorite part was definitely the view, so stunning!

We barely left the house! This house is immaculately clean, has an amazing ocean view, and great location. Everything you need for your vacation is provided. Fins and snorkels, cooler, beach chairs, towels... Etc.. It's really a beautiful home. Thank you Peter for a great Hawaiian experience.

Views were amazing. Peter, the host, responded quickly when we had questions. In an odd place to get out but everyone was accommodating. Would rent again. Loved the area.

If Hawaiian sunsets are your thing, this is a property for you! The seaside view from this home are nothing short of stunning! The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. And the home was very clean. AC felt amazing on the hotter days. We have already booked another stay because we liked it so much!

The whole process was smooth and accommodating. Our host, Peter Wan, responded quickly to all of our requests. The house was terrific, with a fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful Lani, spa, a new A/C and a magnificent ocean view. Clearly, this is one of our favorite accommodations in Kialua-Kona.

Just a perfect stay and Peter went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcomed. The house was fantastic, the perfect location, far enough from the "Kona downtown" to be quiet but close enough to pop into town as needed. And just a great view, we ate so many meals on the deck and watched the sunset there almost every night. Peter was the best, he helped us with beach recommendations and even helped us get to the airport when we got a flat tire on the way. Would definitely stay there again, great house and a great host!!

The house is very nice and well stocked with basics. Peter is an awesome host and quick and eager to help in any way. being frequent visitors ,this was the first time staying close to town. we enjoyed being closer to everything . Our biggest issue was with being so close to a shoreline access and some of the "dealings" and things that go with it. We live very rural in our everyday life so dealing with some things is not for us.

Beautiful view! Your own private grassy knoll over looking the magnificent ocean with an easy hop to the sand and ocean. Almost daily whale sightings right from the deck! Sea turtle neighbors right in front! Mesmerizing sunsets every day! House is incredibly well stocked with every dish and utensil and seasonings and coffee condiments and small appliances!!! … and even laundry soap, shampoos and condotioners! Beach chairs and everything well above and beyond your needs for a day at a beach! And ac is powerful when you just need some cooling off. Super zippy wifi also! Perfect location for hopping to dinner and beaches! Don’t miss this paradise!!!! Reserve before someone else does!!!

We spent a wonderful week here and completely fell in love with this home. The views here…whales, dolphins, incredible sunsets….priceless! The location was perfect and the hot tub on the deck put this place over the top. We will be back!

Incredible view from sun up to sunset We saw turtles, whales and dolphins in one day out front. The small public access next to the house was also nice to see the community as many locals go to the small beach and watch the sunset there.
