Overall, the house is wonderful, and it’s perfect for big families. There was an issue with the bathtub, but it was fixable. Communication with the property manager not so great, does not acknowledge your emails or messages, and if you have something that needs to be fixed they do not give you a heads up that they are coming. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The house and the property was fantastic. We were joined by our 2 kids and spouses and their kids. We had a great week full of lasting memories. The only disappointment was somebody took our expensive beach chairs yesterday off the porch. I was loading our truck for todays departure and left for 10 minutes and they were taken.

Clean .. so much natural light and numerous verandas…lots of seating both indoor and out.. beautiful setting.. short walk to beach … pool was clean… numerous pool items with wagon for transporting items…

Great vacation - as usual we loved our time on SSI. The house was nice and just what we needed for our crew.

We have stayed at the Coast Cottages many times before & love the location, pool & beach set up! Unfortunately this home wasn’t our favorite 😭 we never received check in information, when we did the pool & beach code were incorrect. The hot water in the master shower didn't work, and the bathrooms were not fully stocked with towels & toilet paper. For the price of this house i would look elsewhere within the neighborhood. Location is the best!! But not our favorite house so far. Seems to be if you book through VRBO the management company doesn’t give you as much attention.

Spacious house with great gathering space indoors and out. Worked great for vacationing with another family.

Splendid Cottage is located in a very convenient area of the island. Multiple decks allow for views of the water, pool, nature and the morning sunrise. Having direct access and less than two minutes walk to be on the beach is awesome. The cottage itself is beautiful, well laid out for privacy and allows for everyone to experience the “beach lifestyle “. Kudos for having such a beautiful home and sharing it with others! Thank you, We plan to return in the future . My only advice is to please repair the rooftop deck railing as it is a major hazard if anyone chooses to access it during their stay. As a side note, having access to a broom, dustpan and vacuum would make it much easier when vacationing for more than a day or two. Thank you again!

Perfect spot

The location is great, the house is great and the property management is great! We had one minor plumbing issue the first day which was rapidly addressed and fixed by the property management. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

This was is a great cottage to stay in while visiting St. Simon’s Island. Never felt crowded despite 7 adults and 5 kids. Bunk room was great for the kids and the other 3 bedrooms were very comfortable. Appliances worked great. Multiple porches including a covered porch off the kitchen were great escape places. Internet worked flawlessly which was essential to us. We have stayed multiple times in the Coastal Cottage development and this location exceeded our expectations. All of us would gladly book this property again.

This cottage was exactly what our family needed for a comfortable, enjoyable vacation. We loved all the porches and spent lots of time there. The kitchen was well equipped and well used by our family for dinners. We had several game nights at the big dinner table. Well stocked with towels and beach gear.

A wonderful home, clean as could be, in an excellent position. We had a couple of small glitches and they were very promptly fixed by the attentive property manager. Could not have been happier with the week.

A small group of friends and I stayed at this property to celebrate my birthday. The house was lovely, clean and more than spacious. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen equipment and beach supplies (towels, beach chairs, beach bags) for us to use. The house is in walking distance from the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better location and enjoyed our stay very much!

Beautiful rental in a great spot. Beautiful little street and pool area right on the water. The house itself is adorable and very well layed out for families. Ice maker a HUGE bonus. Great outdoor patio areas- couldn't have asked for anything more. As an added referral- we had a little issue with parking passes and the property manager was great- quick and easy phone call and they came and resolved and brought us passes- no drama, VERY nice and easy. This always makes me feel better, if there were a big issue- they would be great to work with.
