It felt like a little oasis of paradise that is centrally located for convenience. The room and bathroom were so comfortable, it made it feel like home. I like that I just needed to open the curtains and I can see so much greenery and the pool. A very calming environment. The fact that there’s a kitchen and lounge accessible to all guests made it feel even more welcoming. The staff were beyond amazing; they are always there to help you with anything, and are also so pleasant to interact with.

I had a wonderful time at the resort. The location is great and very central. A lot of restaurants and little shops are just a few minutes walk away. The rooms are very modern and clean and the staff is very helpful.

Especially si ate sa housekeeping forgot to ask her name 😅 The place was so accomodating and really feels like home eventhough shared yung kitchen it wasn’t bothering! Everything about this place is absolutely amazing. Location, staffs and the property itself. It’s situated central of General Luna which it makes it more convenient for all activities around the area. Staffs will make you feel home away from home and they take extra miles to make sure you are comfortable and make the best out of your trip. Property is definitely an awesome place to chill/stay after a long busy day from the busy Siargao life. Airconditioning is amazing + the hot showers!

We loved our stay at Palaka for 3 nights. The location, rooms, garden and pool are perfect and the ladies at the front desk were very helpful! A beautiful little garden oasis amongst the main town :)

Quiet space yet right in the heart of the action. Staff are amazingly helpful and kind. they’ve got a cool common kitchen though I’m not sure who’s cooking while on vacation.

had two rooms, but had roof leaks. floor was wet in areas throughout the rooms. Pillows/bedding had a bad moldy odour. safe in one room didn’t work. door lock on one room broke and didn’t get fixed.

We loved the location - hidden away from plain sight, yet right on the main road. Very walkable to food and easy to catch a tricycle to travel deeper into town. The staff is amazing! Being a smaller resort, we received great care and attention throughout our stay. Angel and Lyn were the some of the most welcoming office staff we’ve ever experienced. They helped us arrange airport transportation, recommended tours, trusted surfing instructors, and lots of daily food and party recommendations. Nikki, Gemma, and Karen were also very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. And despite being a low key spot, the guard Arnie was around after hours to make sure we got in and out of the property easily after a late night. The rooms themselves are perfect for a couple. Just the right size with ample storage and a large bathroom. Easy access to power outlets, lighting, and AC. Since it is a beach town, you should expect a little sand to make its way into the room, but the staff will tidy up daily. The resort itself features a very pretty pool and surrounding gardens with soft grass and fun sand paths that lead to each room. There is also the main lobby/common room which serves as a great place to lounge and work. Plus there is a full kitchen for all guests to use it should they feel the need to cook or heat up leftovers.

The Wi-Fi was probably the only real negative feedback I’d have. I know not expect very high speeds in Siargao, however the actual connectivity was very spotty in the room and the lobby, so handling remote work wasn’t always reliable. Maybe adding boosters or a switching to a mesh network would help? Since there are a lot of water activities around, it would be nice to have additional hanging hooks in the bathroom to accommodate drying. There is a great drying rack by the pool, but we happened to be staying during a rainy week in Siargao. Additional storage in the bathroom would also be a great upgrade

Definitely loved the sweet, friendly, and thoughtful staff. They definitely went above and beyond with their service. Ask them what you need and they'll try and give you what you need. The rooms were very decent in size as well as the shower. It's perfect when you want to stay and go on your tours but still nice if you just want to stay in. The diving pool is amazing. The kitchennette is sufficient enough for you to cook small meals. The space was adequate enough for your kitchen needs. The place is nothing short of amazing! It's very neat, clean, and even scenic inside. They have an available hair dryer inside, hot shower, vanity mirror, fridge, few hangers and two robes available. Shampoo, body wash, towels are also available.

I wish they took great care of their showers. It's got a lot of potential, the mineral deposits have blocked the bidet amd shower head that it barely gives out any water at all. I didn't see any kettle but it would have been great if they were provided. Drinks would have been nice when we checked in. Not necessary but would have been nice. But just ask them anything you need and they'll be sure to provide.

We booked a tour through them, when on the tour other guests had payed significantly less than we did for same thing. There were no extra pillows available.

The property is at the center wherein you can just walk to different restau and resorts. It is also near the beach just ask where to pass.

The water in the shower has a little smell if you turned on the heater plus the water flow is not consistent to the point no water at all.

The location is prime! It's the second time I checked in here and it's just near restaurants and other stores. The pool was okay and functional. Had some challenges using the stove but it eventually worked. A/C works fine and the room was bigger than some other hotels in IAO. They have a safe in the room and personal Ref. The staff were all friendly. I forgot my key when I returned and good thing they have a spare. They also kept our luggage when we checked out as we still had some tours that day. They can also help arrange transfers to and from the airport. The party schedules and bars are provided at the lobby. You can have coffee by the pool early in the morning as there are chairs and tables in the area. The place is just small so it doesn't feel like it is crowded.

They have a common space/area where you can eat, or cook and refill your water bottles, could be better if we have a bottle or pitcher provided per room so you can stock it inside the personal ref inside the room. It was quite challenging to go out at night and probably party cause the gate is locked-it's dark and is pretty difficult to open so you have to wake up the guard on duty which is pretty inconvenient. No meals provided for your stay, could be helpful during some days. I asked for spare pillows but they don't have one. The pillows are not comfortable enough and the blanket was quite thin. The hot and cold bath didn't work in Villa 2 and there are no toiletries provided in Villa 5 - no toothbrush and toothpaste, just a small bar of soap so you have to bring your own. Wifi didn't work during first night of stay, and poor signal inside the rooms for Cellular data.

Horrible experience! As we arrived we’ve been told that we have no hot water in the shower and we needed to take a shower with a bucket!! After 2 days (with no shower) they moved us to another room, so then we asked to extend our stay until our flight. They said no problem, but didn’t booked the room for us, so someone else booked it! And we were asked to leave immediately!! We felt humiliated and disappointed.

resort is beautiful - style of the area is stunning and the communal area is friendly and inviting.
