Clean, fun and a good time

We were looking for a quick getaway for some much needed family time and this was it. The house is beautiful and perfect for a lake house feel.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was comfy and cozy. Multiple large spaces to gather with the family. All beds were comfortable. The rental guide also was very helpful and organized information in an easy to use format.

We stayed for a family trip. The house is beautiful and was very clean. We had a couple of maintenance issues which we were able to address with the property management company. The house offers plenty of space with the four bedrooms and two living rooms. It was close to the grocery store so you can stock up on groceries to cook during your stay. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The kitchen was plenty big to hold our family of 8. The enclosed porch was the perfect resting place for me and my siblings and where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms had memory foam Mattresses which were comfortable. The three bathrooms allowed us to use facilities and shower without all of us bothering each other. I would definitely come back.

The property was amazing! Super clean, spacious, and had everything you could need. Since it was nine of us, it was so helpful to have a washer & dryer in the home. There are two living rooms, a fire pit, a grill, a HUGE kitchen and fit all nine of us perfectly. The only thing negative I can think of is the room with the twin beds is located in the basement which could be far for small kids. However, we put two adults down there and it was sufficient. Lastly, the property manager was helpful, and available for all my silly questions. The community is so nice and welcoming. I'd highly recommend staying here :)

We enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful atmosphere of the whole area.

Despite a few cleaning issues when we first arrived, our family group enjoyed the house. Lots of living areas to spread out; large dining table and adequately supplied kitchen; comfortable beds; and parking for 5-6 cars. For the size of the house it would be nice to have 5 bedrooms rather than only 4 of which one is in the basement. The house is a bit dark with plenty of lights. But we had to ask John how to turn many of them on. Requires pushing the switches and not just sliding them. We had 4 carloads and before arriving we were very confused as to how the check in would go. Yes you complete an online registration of everyone's license plates. But all you need to do when you arrive is go to the welcome center and show your drivers license to get the gate swipe card. An FYI for day guests is that they do not need to register in advance. Just have guests park and then call so you can pick them up at the welcome center. Also the wrist bands are only needed for the island pool complex. There is a pinewood deli just outside the gate that has good food and some essentials if you don't want to cook. Finally, taking garbage and recycling to the welcome center is a drag but understandable. We just did it every day so it didn't accumulate and smell up the house. So overall we had a good experience and John the property manager was very friendly and responsive.

The first floor was huge and met our needs for our family of nine. Also, the master suite on the first floor was huge. The two bedrooms on the second floor with great room and bar were perfect. The lower level game room with freezer in the basement worked for us. We used the fire pit by the house and did walk to the brand new dock several times. We couldn't use the fire pit by the lake and the outside deck on the house. The inside covered porch was beautiful and spacious. The owner and property manager were extremely helpful before and during our stay. We enjoyed our vacation!

The house had everything we needed for babies through grandparents. The community was peaceful and had plenty of events and amenities to keep us entertained for 9 days. The property manager communicates thoroughly and efficiently. We also really enjoyed our deer and bear sightings through the stay.

This place could be nice with much more attention to it. The landscaping was not taken care of, overrun with weeds. The back deck was so overgrown with weeds it was unusable. The firepit had to be cleaned up before we could use it. We did appreciate the wood to use at the firepit. As far as the inside of the house, it was not cleaned well at all. Counters had crumbs and didn’t seem to be wiped off. The floor was dirty, did not seem to be wet mopped. One of the worse things was no air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. Since both my daughters and their husbands each had a dog, they needed to keep their doors closed at night which made it hot to sleep every night. We did not know about those bedrooms not having AC until we got arrival info a day or two before coming. If not hooked to central air, both of those bedrooms should have their own air conditioners. The grill was usable but not clean. Thank goodness for aluminum foil. We, as a family, really enjoyed the beach and swimming in the lake. However, on Thursday we had to leave the beach early and the beaches and water were closed because of ecoli in the water. Our 4 year old grandchild started with diarrhea later that day and continued the next day. I know the owners can not do anything about that, but it did interfere with our stay. We found out that same day that we should not drink the water because it’s not safe. We had been using it for coffee and drinking some. We should have been told before.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! Tons of space, comfortable furniture, great kitchen, fireplaces, a luxury bath...all in an area that was peaceful and serene. My one concern, and it's a vital one, is smoke detectors. Or rather, the lack of them. We saw only one, located in the master bedroom. The owner should research the number and placement locations needed in a house of this size and install them immediately. Neglecting this safety precaution could result in tragedy for either the owners or guests. I would be remiss in not noting this. Another suggestion is to give some TLC to the back deck area. While it is an ideal spot for catching some sun or feeding the deer, it is also overgrown with tall weeds, which is a shame. The deck has terraced raised beds for flowers and the perfect center area for a small fountain. But it has been sadly neglected. This area would be a little oasis with a bit of care. Aside from the above, the house and location are stellar. Anyone would love a stay here!

Beautiful place. Amazing attention to detail. Cozy, warm, and rustic setting. The area is just so beautiful. The artifacts are wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We LOVED it. Plus…. Fireplaces!

We had a wonderful time at the Bow Path home! Chris was very nice to deal with. The Bow Path is large, beautiful and quite unique with American Indian decor throughout. It actually somewhat reminded our daughters of the Yellowstone series. The stone and woodwork throughout the house was beautiful. We loved the whole house, especially the large kitchen, living room and upstairs bar area. Next time we plan on taking advantage of the activities that are going on within the community too. Great time and Wonderful memories!

We really enjoyed meeting up with friends at this beautiful house. There was plenty of space for adults, tweens, and teens to relax, play games, and catch up.

House was great! We all loved the 2 floors of living space. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Loved the home. It's quite unique and instantly you feel like you're in the mountains vacationing. Lots of big areas to gather. The HUGE kitchen area and the 2nd-floor living room were our favorite places. We stayed over Christmas and the temperature was -8 the first night. The entire home stayed warm and the heated tiles in the master bath were perfect for the conditions! The only thing we have on the downside was the furniture in the 1st-floor living room seemed quite old and worn.... to the point that it had slipcovers on it and wasn't all that comfortable. The 2nd-floor living area made up for that though. We highly recommend this home for a relaxing vacation.

The best

Great house, wonderful fireplaces, great TVs, good kitchen, very comfy common areas and good beds too! Our issue is with the LISTING; this is not a house for ten, as the basement bedroom is a disaster (no night- stand, no lamp, no closet, no bureau, and anyone 6 feet or more would concuss quickly with low ceilings). Not 4 baths, but three. No real closet in master brm. With a straightforward listing, and a few easy fixes, this house is a gem. Fortunately, we had 3 guests cancel, and it was a perfect house for the six of us.

This is a beautiful home. Well furnished except for the bedrooms. The two living rooms and large kitchen were great. The two upstais bedrooms only had a queen bed, and pole lamp. No nite stands or reading lights. Clothing could be stored in the closet. Linens provided included only one towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth per person. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty when we arrived. We did not use the basement bedroom as it had no windows, low ceilings, unfinished walls and was musty. We did enjoy our stay with the rest of the house but had to use the queen sofa bed upstairs which wasn't that comfortable. Location was great, fireplaces also great.

Roomy, great ameneties and quiet location.

Renting process was easy. Was able to check in early which was fabulous. No lines. Great location. Only thing we did not realize the upstairs was not air conditioned when they said central air. Plus there was bunk beds upstairs and was not aware. Other than that no complaints.

We really enjoyed our stay I looked at reviews so I definitely made sure I called and checked in with front desk making sure everything I needed to do on my end was done I did it two weeks before my stay and two days prior so Check in was a breezy you just have to read your emails and fill out the papers before dead line if not that’s when I feel the frustration comes in when checking in but any ways yes my family love love loved this cabin space was more then enough I. Personally feel the cabin was better in person from pictures I had a ball kitchen huge both living rooms cozy nice fireplaces beds room nice size was everything was clean when i tell u I really enjoyed myself the moment I arrived I mean it🥰😍

We had a few things that needed to be addressed and the manager responded quickly. The issues were taken care of in a timely matter.

Two beds broken, mattresses wouldn’t stay on bed rails, had to put one set of mattresses on floor to sleep. Sign on door of mud room suggesting “don’ t drink the water’ Right side arm of couch broken, ready to break off. Kitchen pots n pans were filthy, had to wash everything. No instruction on how to light firplaces.

Place was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. I would suggest more smoke detectors. The home is very big and I only saw 1 in the master bedroom.
