Upon arrival, the refrigerator was not working. We notified the property management and they promptly began to address the problem. The accommodations they made for us were excellent and we’re very satisfied.

First of all, upon entering we were very surprised to see how small each room was compared to how spacious the online pictures portrayed. After a long day of travel we wanted an ice cold drink of wine…tried the refrigerator’s ice maker only to realize it wasn’t working. I call the number lister in the binder, spoke with Kristin who informed me they knew the ice machine was broken 😠 However, after a bit of a conversation Kristin brought to the house TWO large bags of ice in a very short time YEA Kristin!! All was going well until we finished our dinner, stacked our dirty dishes into the dishwasher washer and proceeded to turn the dishwasher on…only to find that the door wasn’t latching so the dishwasher would begin its cycle then immediately stop. So, now the dishwasher wasn’t working so for the rest of our meals, we cleaned up and stacked dishes, silverware, etc into the dishwasher. We went to Safeway and bought paper plates and silverware to use for the remainder of our stay.
The beds are incredibly wonderful and we both sleep very well…thank you for taking such care in your bed selection!
The living room couch was another story altogether in that it’s like sitting on a brick. So after the first night, we chose to use the comfy beds to watch TV and that worked perfectly. We loved the backyard, its privacy and especially the seating arrangement.
Firefly is a very old home. Walking on the floors brought back good memories of the homes my husband and I grew up in 😊.

Our stay was perfect! My daughter had a #softball tournament abd tgis place was just what we needed. Supwr cute and closed to everything. Beds were comfy and the towel warmer was amazing! Plenty of room for us. I will stay here again!

Plenty of room with an abundance of outdoor space. Very convenient to downtown Prescott/Whiskey Row/Courthouse. 10-15 min walk and halfway is a fantastic microbrewery & gastropub (LazyG Brewhouse). Also, a quick drive to the National Forest and lakes for hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking. The house has a lot of character and charm. Overall, a good deal. Hope to return for next year's Whiskey Off Road MTB Race.

This is a great little house that is a bit off the beaten path of the busy downtown area of Prescott. My two dogs and I were very comfortable staying in this home. It is exactly as pictured. We really enjoyed the backyard garden area!

Driving up to the property was disappointing, the trees were covering most of the house. Bushes and trees needed to be cut back. At the door the screen was missing and the door was in bad shape. A huge potting container was to the left next to the door and was full of dead plants. Inside looked good, trying to watch TV later was impossible because these obnoxious lights on either side of the TV were so bright you couldn't watch the TV. The TV and the lights were on the same switch. The ice maker in the freezer was not working due to a build up of frost. I called the property manager and she came by and unscrewed the light bulbs next to the TV and brought us some ice. The rest of the inside was great, cozy and we really enjoyed the fire place. The backyard was over run with bushes and plants and in desperate need of clean up. It would have required a lot of clean up of the furniture and surrounding area to sit out there.

So much original architecture, including creaky wood floors, takes you back in time. Being able to use the fireplace during this cold weather was perfect! A more comfortable couch would be a plus, but we plan to return. Thank you,

The property was exactly what we needed for our short stay. It was also walking distance to family who live in Prescott.
Beds and pillows were dreamy. Kitchen and shared spaces were comfortable and welcoming. Parking was easy. Decor was charming. The patio area was relaxing.
And the host was easy to reach and quick to respond.
Overall everything you want from a rental experience. I’d be happy to stay at Firefly Lodge again for my next visit to Prescott.

We like the convenience to nearby shops and just down the street to Whiskey row. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were great with lots of towels. I didnt give it 5 stars because the couch was VERY uncomfortable. We did have a situation and the host was nearby to help with a concern I had. The backyard was very nicely set up.

House is very cute, decorated in mid century modern style. Kitchen is very well stocked to cook but no condiments. The furniture is not very comfortable to sit and watch tv which is why the 4 star rating. The bed in the yellow room is a memory foam so for me not too comfortable, the other bed is good. Good location and very responsive management company.

This was the perfect place for our NYE Weekend stay. The backyard was adorable and I have been shopping for a towel warmer for my bathroom after experiencing the luxury of one at this rental 😂. We were able to walk to Whiskey Row and a really nice brewery. I didn’t really need to communicate with the host but I’m sure had the need presented itself they would have been great. I’d definitely stay here again

Overall this property is fine but I think we overpaid. This is a very old, and small cottage. It will NOT sleep 6, only 4. Zero storage for clothing in the bedrooms other than one small closet. Beds are pretty comfortable but all of the other furniture is not whatsoever. The living room couch is less than 12" from the floor and very hard to get in/out of, even for my teenagers. The floor is very squeaky and will wake you up if you are a light sleeper staying with others getting up in the middle of the night. The cottage was very clean, neighborhood was really quiet and backyard was really cute. We did not like the check out requirements (cleaning) because we paid a cleaning fee nor the additional leasing agreement we had to sign with the property management after we already paid. VRBO was not willing to help us with our questions on these requirements since "everything is up to the hosts" and we were not in a timeframe to cancel after we booked. Would not stay here again unless the price was much more competitive.

This little house was even better than pictured! It was easy to check in to, very clean, and decorated perfectly. We had everything we needed for a perfect 3-day weekend. It is located close to Whiskey Row but far enough away from the crowds. I will be staying here again!

Me and my husband stayed here three nights while visiting Prescott. The location is good, very close to Whiskey Row and downtown with lots of local shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet. The outdoor area is very pretty, a nice space to relax in. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - coffee, creamer, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, etc and a well stocked kitchen (appliances, cookware, etc). I was super impressed by the organization in the kitchen. Most VRBO’s the kitchen items are randomly stored in the cabinets and drawers. Not this place, everything was labeled! My OCD heart was happy! I also loved the amount of books throughout the house. I love to read so it was fun to check out the “library” available. The ONLY complaint is that the lights beside the TV can’t be turned off while watching TV. They are connected to the same power source as the TV. We didn’t see any off switches for them either. So it was a little awkward watching a movie at night with the bright lights. Other than that small detail we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved the ambiance of this quaint little cottage. It provided everything we needed in the kitchen. We spent every morning on the patio having coffee and listening to the birds, then every evening having a beverage and watching the sky fade to night. Parking and access to nearby amenities was a plus. It is close to a short trail along a creek and one mile from wonderful trails at a park where I couldn't tell I was in the city. We will be back.

Refrigerator was not cooling. Didn’t realize it until the next morning. We were planning on eating meals. Things like this happen but when I informed the property manager and said we were leaving early and ask for a refund of 1/2 my rent, she said she wound have to wait for a report from the repair person. Who wants to deal with a repair person who gives you a 4 hour window while on vacation or leave their stuff while somebody they don’t know comes in and checks out an alliance?

We loved our stay at the Firefly Lodge. Super cute (loved the firefly lights). Easy check in and check out! Only downside was there was no wine opener. :-)
