Trip started very badly with no idea how to access, following that everything was fine

The "host" changed my dates as requested but has failed to refund my money for the revised dates. Staff at host hotel was rude and unhelpful. I still have not been refunded to what amounts to over $500. Do NOT book this property through VRBO, they also have done nothing to help me get my money back. They have said it's out of their hands.

The "host" on this VRBO is Melia Hotel. Lovely hotel, great location next to Celebration, less than 15 minutes to the major theme parks, great restaurant w/a talented singer on site, ice skating on site, heated pool, awesome staff.There is NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever with this "host," unless you call the Melia directly and ask for an internal hotel reservation number. Frustrating yes, but as I said, lovely hotel. Just don't expect an answer to emails or bother calling the number listed on the vrbo site or vrbo help. Call Melia directly.

My second time here. This property is so close to parks. The staff is super friendly.

The 2br appartement was large and clean, and the kitchen had all you need except an oven. The pool area is nice. The neighborhood is quiet and with easy access to many bike paths.

We wished the pool was open a little bit later mostly because we were from a different time zone and 11 was super early to us, but it was clean, warm, and beautiful. The room was clean with comfy beds and nice pillows. Staff was very helpful, kind and always smiling.

You couldn’t ask for a closer location to the parks. However, property feels like it hasn’t aged well, a lot things just felt old and out dated. Also, Friday night they had a DJ playing some of the loudest music you have ever heard at the pool until 9 pm. Even with windows and doors closed could hear and felt like music was still blasting, not sure how people at pool could even think. Overall is wasn’t as comfortable as we would have liked.

The pool, spa, and outside games were great to have available. There was a dj with lights and music from 7pm-10pm? On Saturday evening that was loud and kind of obnoxious, but it seemed like fun for others. Check-in and check out were super easy. The furniture is very run down, beds are horribly hard and the coach is very uncomfortable. The dishwasher was not bolted down which made loading it interesting. But even with all those minor issues/inconvenience I’d stay again. Also practice your Spanish as all of the housekeepers only speak Spanish. 🙃

We had the pool view which was nice because they played music until like 10 o’clock at night from your balcony you can hear it if you wanna quieter so you have to Book the opposite side not near the pool also we had booked through Verbo and paid online and when I checked my credit card the hotel also charged us however they didn’t take care of that afterwards.

During Covid this was a perfect getaway with the pets. We were able to sit on the balcony and look at the other guest playing games at pool and enjoying the restaurant. Loved the DJ on the weekends.
