Corrine met us at the door at the exact time we'd agreed and showed us around the flat and took time to explain everything and left a map of Nimes too.

Great location, very good apartment with everything handy. The kitchen is great and has all the utensils and small bits like oil that are needed for cooking. The terrace is amazing. There is no shampoo etc in the bath room so be prepared to bring your own.

The location - A 5 minute walk from bars, restaurants, shops, and cafes whilst also in a lovely quiet street. The balcony - fantastic views of a local church. Living spaces - very clean and comfortable with a modern, unique decor. The host - Corrine was fantastic and easy to get a hold of when arriving. She also gave us a tour and provided us with lots of information on the local area. She’s a star!

The shower could have been easier to use it it was attached to the wall.

Absolutely brilliant position for exploring the lovely city of Nimes - barely a stone’s throw from the Main Street leading down to the Roman arena and the excellent museum exploring Nimes’s Roman history. Go in the other direction and you’re heading for the gorgeous Jardins de les Fontaines. The apartment is spacious and well equipped including a Nespresso coffee machine - great news if , like us, you need a fuss free caffeine boost first thing! The apartment felt very secure and was nice and quiet - especially given the central location. It’s on the second floor but there is a handy lift for getting heavy luggage up there. The balcony offers a pleasant place to sit and watch some of the hundreds of Swifts that inhabit the city twist and turn through the sky. Most books refer to Nimes as the “city of the swallows” but most of the birds we saw were definitely Swifts! We managed pretty well in the heat and the two fans provided helped get some air into the flat. We were met on arrival by the delightful Sandrine (friend of the host) who showed us around and explained how things worked. There is a well stocked Carrefour City a very short stroll away but there are so many excellent restaurants nearby you may not need it! The outside street is quite narrow and you’ll be lucky to find a parking space. We used the underground car park at the end of the street. It cost us about €13.20 for 24 hours

The apartment has a bath equipped with a shower attachment but with nowhere to actually hang the shower head. This made showering rather awkward. There was also no plug for the kitchen sink and no bowl so washing up was not as easy as it could have been.

Fantastic location with a lovely terrace. The property was clean and easy to find. Really good value for money.

A wall attachment for the shower head would have been nice as at the moment it can only be used by hand.

Great location, wonderful apartment, but if you are driving in, it is really difficult to find because of the one way streets. You would do well to come into Nimes on route D999, then Ave. Jean Jaures and park at the public lot at Jardins de la Fontaine, only 3 blocks from the apartment, It is much easier to walk to than to drive to. The apartment offers parking for a fee, but the space is so small (we had a Fiat 500 and it was a squeeze to get it in) you would be much better off to use the public parking. 13.40 euros a day and worth it.
