Hard to believe, but cabin was even prettier than the pictures. The outdoor rooms are amazing. We sat on the porch for all our meals and listened to the waterfall. Enjoyed walking to town. Owners thought of everything! We didn’t have to buy paper towels, dish soap, TP, etc. They even had snacks and a few drinks for us. Hope to return every year!

This is an amazing property. The backyard is like your own private resort. You have a creek, fire pit, and just nothing but forest. The cabin is very nice. It would accommodate two couples or a family very easily. The hosts have everything covered. They have stocked the kitchen with enough stuff to get you started. They live right down the street so if you need to get in touch with them it’s very easy. They were very helpful when I contacted them. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Cashiers/Highlands area.

We were in town driving some beautiful mountain roads with a Porsche group. Chose this place to stay as it was in the local area where everyone else was staying. We were blown away! If you like peaceful beautiful settings, this is the place for you! No matter the weather, this is a wonderful spot. Couldn’t have been better! The owners have done a beautiful job on this property. Take the time to say hello, they’re fantastic!! We will definitely be back.

This cottage/small home was perfectly suited for all our needs. It was clean, decorated nicely, and well stocked. The location is top-notch! Beautiful area-close to anything you’d like to do. The creek/waterfall is so enjoyable. The backyard is private and perfectly landscaped and the deck is very large and accommodating. You can hear the creek from every area. Private access upstairs and downstairs to the outside. Our adult children loved having their own space too. These guys have a gem. Hoping to return in the Spring.

The house is very cozy and the property is just as amazing as the pictures. The waterfall and creek running down the backside of the house are beautiful. Huge outdoor deck to enjoy grilling and the view of the creek. Fire pit was enjoyable in the evenings. Owners were very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend this property.

This is such a lovely cabin in a quiet neighborhood but very close to restaurants and shops. The outdoor space is amazing with a nice waterfalls. The hosts are very thoughtful and the cabin has everything you need. The snack and drinks were very appreciated as was the biscuit left for our fur baby. We look forward to returning in warmer weather so we can spend more time in the outdoor spaces.

Spacious home with huge decks, nestled in a beautiful forested area. They though of everything when landscaping and the inside so that guests literally had everything they needed for a great stay. The large forested area makes A great place for dogs .

We love NC, and decided to try the Cashiers area... It did not disappoint! This amazing house is tucked away in the woods, but minutes from everything you would need! The lulling sound of the waterfall creek to cozy home... After a day of hiking waterfalls this was the perfect place to come back to! Patch really makes you feel like family and we were so happy to finally connect for a bit by the bonfire our last night there! We look forward to coming back to Falls Creek in the very near future!! My family and I have been using VRBO for over 10 years and stayed in many amazing places but I must say that this cabin in Cashiers is truly special. Having gone to Cashiers the last four years we had a large itinerary of things we wanted to do but found that we did about half of what we planned because we enjoyed staying at the cabin so much. The deck overlooking the creek was pure relaxation and the stream/waterfall was entertainment for our two younger children. When we did decide to explore Cashier the central location of the cabin was perfect, my only regret is we didn’t walk to Buck’s coffee more often. Patch, the host of the cabin, was amazing. Walking into the cabin with a treat basket excited the children, complimentary wine in the fridge excited my wife 😊 and finding a stack of dry firewood to do smores with the family was enjoyable. Patch was great making sure that our cabin was satisfactory and was quick to answer any questions we had. We hope to return to the cabin for our next trip to Cashiers.

We had a wonderful stay at this creek side cottage. The waterfall and creek was such a treat. Beautiful backyard and setting. The location is perfect for walking and privacy, but also so close to the center of Cashiers. The kitchen was very well stocked and the grill is a nice one! We enjoyed the large deck for reading and coffee time. The Owner was lovely to work with and a great communicator! Can't wait to stay here again.

Our stay at Falls Creek was perfect. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated, very clean (super important to me!), and equipped with all the essentials a guest could need (even with extras like providing duraflame logs for the outdoor fire pit). And the outside is exactly as the pictures show it - this is what you come to this cabin for, and it delivers. Our children spent hours in their rain boots wading in the creek and walking the trails while my husband and I sat on the deck. Patch was an exceptional host and very responsive. We ran into him while walking the neighborhood one afternoon (attending his bees, my daughter was fascinated) and were surprised later that evening when we came home from the day out to find a jar of honey waiting for us on our doorstep. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be returning to this same place again.

We made a quick escape from the heat and found a bit of heaven! The cabin, the deck, landscaped patio, waterfall, creek.. all of it was just perfect! The cabin was very well appointed and very accurately represented by the VRBO listing. Patch was a generous host and we look forward to returning soon!!!

TLDR: Cottage is clean, well stocked and perfectly located. Beds were comfortable. Hosts are helpful without being intrusive. We had a great stay. The cottage is welcoming. The landscaping is fabulous. Walkable to town. The hosts supplied a starter kit and snack basket that didn't miss a thing. Very considerate! Enjoyed the fire pit, extensive deck and the creek that meanders through the property. Great place to unplug and de stress. (Unplugging was our choice it has TV and Wi-Fi)

A lot of thought went into creating and furnishing the cottage. The landscaping was heavenly. Loved the creek and waterfall. So relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed. Immaculate. Loved the lights on trees at night. It was obvious that they put a lot of time and effort into this special place. I enjoyed their creative touches. The colors are so soothing I liked the textured ceilings in the master BR kitchen and dining. The hutch in the dining room was a wonderful focal point. The downstairs twin BR bed frames were perfect for that setting. The large framed mirror over the downstairs sofa was an exceptional piece of art. The 3 boards on the twin ceiling really gave substance to the room. Very creative touch. The large deck was the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The home and surrounding creek and waterfall are just magnificent. Views from any porch; upstairs or downstairs are serene. The home is very clean and comfortable as well. Patch is a fantastic host, and was available to us if we needed anything. We will return!

We enjoyed the cottage and the outdoor space with fire pit next to creek. Private area with paths on other side of bridge, We would stay here on a return trip in the future.

We really enjoyed our weekend here! Very close to everything & so nice on the creek! Home was spotless and all directions were clear. Really appreciated all the extra touches like snacks waiting on us when we arrived. One of the smoke alarms was chirping due to a low battery when we arrived & Patch brought a battery right to us. Wonderful trail right out the back door & great fire pit! We hope to come back again! Definitely a hidden gem!
