Great spot right in the middle with fab views of the city. Clean and comfortable it has everything you need. Communication throughout the stay has been very helpful. Would highly recommend.

We were disappointed by a few things. Hot water ran out before one shower, and we had 4 people. Air conditioning didn't work or would not cool down the rooms. Exact room was not what we saw on our reservation. Didn't realize laundry was not in the unit, so that was not easy to use. No good coffee maker in the unit. Would not rent this unit again.

We arrived to music in the street and beautiful views of the towers. This apartment is well appointed and perfectly situated. We day tripped to Venice comfortably and another day we went to Modena for a cheese tour and tasting followed by Maranello Ferrari Museum. Loved our stay.

This property is wonderful! It is so beautiful, clean, well equipped, and in a fantastic location! You can walk everywhere in the city from here, including the train station. We are so grateful to find such a nice property in a fantastic location! We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer we could use. I would most definitely stay here again! Francesca was wonderful, the check in was so easy, and the property was immaculately clean and in perfect condition! Thank you!

I can honestly say Francesca and her team run a great business. Location is perfect in the old town, the apartment is fresh and clean and she also provides a professional binder full of great info. Would not hesitate to stay there again and or recommend it.

We were apprehensive when we made this reservation because the apartment had one bathroom and we are a family of five. When we got to the apartment that apprehension was lifted by the newness and cleanliness of the space. It felt like a five-star hotel. The location can't be beaten. It is in the heart of Bologna. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again.

I rent properties all over the world. This was one of the easiest, most straightforward, easiest check-in/check-out rental I’ve done. The communication with the owner was always timely and satisfying. She even tracked down missing laundry for me! She also stopped by to fix a shutter that had blown open. Super helpful and delightful! The location is on one of the main streets of Bologna literally steps from the Duo Torri. If you are exploring the city and want to be in the heartbeat of the city you are perfectly located. I didn’t cook much so the kitchen was adequate for me—why cook when great food is right outside your door? I did buy a French Press at Coin department store across street as the Moka isn’t my style of coffee and the fabulous Terzi coffeehouse didn’t open until 8 am. A/C worked well as did the hot water. I was fortunate to have a well known opera singer in the flat above me so I heard him practicing during the day which was wonderful. The two bedrooms are nice even for just one person. During the weekend they close Via Rizzoli and students gather there until the wee hours so I preferred sleeping in the back bedroom. Black out curtains in the front bedroom and a very nice roller black out in the back bedroom. During the week I slept in the front bedroom. Both beds are really comfortable. Plenty of closet space, a safe, and weekly housekeeping. I’m back in California and miss Bologna and my cute apartment already!!

The decor was the most important aspect for me. The location was also perfect. There is city noise when you open windows which is to be expected. A more comfortable sofa would be a plus.

Overall the property was clean. It was missing staging items that you see in the online pictures. Unfortunately the AC only runs from May to September at which time the heating system kicks in. It was very hot in Bologna, 85 plus degrees with no way to cool the apartment down. I reached out to the property manager but no reply on how to change. We could not open the windows as the location was very loud due to weekend festivities. Overall it was a good apartment but need to modify the AC/heat issue.

The Santo Stefano Apartment is exactly like the pictures. The apartment is in a great location on the Main Street in Bologna. Even though it is a busy street you do not hear the noise. The apartment was clean and had all the essentials necessary. Francesca was easy to work with. She responded to any questions in a timely manner. We had a very nice stay in Bologna.

Everything was wonderful about this property. It was well appointed, comfortable bed, lovely sheets and plenty of towels. The location could not have been better just steps from the piazza. Francesca could not have been more helpful and available. The dryer had broken but was fixed within 24 hours! My only complaint was that the air conditioning in the kitchen living area and one of the bedrooms was weak at best however the other bedroom had a fine working air-conditioner, and we needed it during this heat wave at the end of June. We would most definitely stay at this property again! Grazie!!

The apartment is modern, clean and easily accessible with a lift. From the apartment all of the sights of Bologna can be reached on foot. Piazza Maggiore with its elegant buildings and the church of Saint Petronio are only a very short walk under the porticos that are an integral and elegant of part of Bologna’s charm. The wonderful narrow streets with their restaurants and wine bars are only metres away. Wonderful choices of the regional foods are available and aperitifs in the late afternoon mean you can sit and watch the ‘world go by’ and relax at the same time.

Acinelli apartment is very well set up and in a perfect location to walk to all the major sites in Bologna and enjoy the atmosphere of this charming city. We received a very friendly welcome from Francesca who was extremely helpful not only with tips to enhance our time in Bologna, but with organising a taxi for an early morning departure. Great location, feel like a local, walking distance to bakery for breakfast, clean facilities, ample closet space. I would only add a lamp or 2 to make the living room a little cozier at night. Now there is only one standing lamp and a ceiling lamp.

We loved this apartment. The weather happened to be particularly hot and the air conditioning worked perfectly and kept us cool. The location is convenient to historic Bologna, the university, excellent restaurants and shopping and the train station. Francesca met us at the apartment and was helpful throughout our stay.

Look out of the windows and see the leaning towers. The place is magical.

There can't be anything more centrally located! The apartment was clean, had a nice layout, and was comfortably though not elaborately furnished. For those who want to eat in, the Quadrilatero (old market) begins a half block away. The Piazza, only a block away, is among the most elegant and impressive in Italy. And there is a good supply of cultural venues, as one would expect in a university town. We easily filled up our four days with interesting activities. The only negative we would mention is the street noise at night -- perhaps to be expected with as many younger people as we saw on the streets, but still the noise was bothersome far later into the night than we had expected (even with the windows closed). Still, a wonderful stay for us.
