Came for the Big E & this house was just great! Comfy beds, good A/C, & easy check in process.

We came for Brimfield and just needed a reasonable place to stay. This is a little old , not updated, two bedroom one bath house. Not fancy by any means but clean,comfortable and safe.

The property is very convenient to WNE. There were quirks and things that need repair. It is like staying at a college student house. Be aware there are not the typical VRBO amenities like bath soap, hand towels, shampoo and coffee. A few weekends of TLC and several gallons of paint, and this could be a real treat. Note: the basement is listed on a different service.

This property had highlights like well-functioning AC units during a summer stay, comfortable beds, a nice couch, and a good variety of tv channel options. Unfortunately, the spacious kitchen was not stocked with tools for cooking despite having plentiful plates and bowls. The property also appears to have been abused by past guests as evidenced by damage to the walls and doors. This is a nice, little house - please be kind to it.

Perfect for a short stay. My family lives in Springfield so I went to celebrate my 70th birthday with them but didn’t want to impose on family or just get a hotel room. Everything was just as advertised. Quiet neighborhood, could use a little updating.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and I had no illusions that it would be much more than "adequate." And it was entirely adequate for our purposes. We got in late, we were out early and it was a good place to spend what time we had. Love the Christmas tree in the TV room. Nice touch. And the price was right.

There were several things wrong with the house. Took a video of how the house looked and now the owner who when he finally did come to visit us introduced himself as someone else. He basically had lied to us. Now he is accusing us of damaging the house and is attempting to charges for things that were broken and in disrepair upon our arrival. Very poor communication and a very dishonest host. We canceled our second visit with him and lost a lot of money. The money that we spent and the money that he kept that should be plenty to get the repairs done that should have been repaired prior to our stay. If you read further into the comments left by other visitors stating things such as the kitchen faucet being loose and nearly falling off and the hallway being very slanted and dangerous for guests. Just a very disappointing stay especially on our honeymoon.

clean and quiet. plenty of room to work as it was a business trip. really cant nit pick the small things, it was a cheap place and provided us with exactly what we needed.

Booked house for 5 days with my mother (73). The house has some issue with the hallway slanting to one side. If you have anyone that is not steady on there feet this is not going to work. When we contacted them, stating we felt on safe and would have to find other housing and requested a PARTIAL refund for the days that we were not staying. The owner said that "the evaluation done before you shows nothing as to post safety risk to guest" so we will not be getting a refund. I understand that not all guest have the same concerns however I would have hoped they could work with us. The house had a few minor things, beds and couch were not comfortable. The faucet for the kitchen sink seemed like it was going to come off, when we used it and the water/ice didn't work for the fridge. The blinds had some missing pieces and only sheer curtains. But it was clean and that was all the representative seemed to care about. GFSF

Need money back not what was advertised. Outside hout not good condition. Safety on driveway not good. Safe from snow in and out. Girl alone not very safe

The listing showed pictures that were warm and cozy, this was not the case with our stay. We came in to the house on an evening where it was 30 degrees outside and the heating was turned off. I had turned the heating on, and we waited several hours for the house to be a manageable temperature. I reached out to the owner/manager, and they did not reply until the next day! The beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower was nice. Only one towel per person, and two people staying, so that wasn't very nice. No liquid soap to hand wash dishes, and I didn't feel it necessary to run a dishwasher load for just a few dishes. No trash bags, so we bought our own. I had to work while there, the internet kept going in and out, but I do understand that's not something the owner can control. The heating vents in the dining room also did not work. All of the heating vents were covered with furniture or heavy drapes. We also discovered one of the bedroom windows was wide open as we were tying the drapes back so the heat could come out of the vents. My mother and I both ended up having to cut our trip short due to a bad storm rolling through, and after telling the owner, I never received a reply. I hope the next person that stays there has a better experience with the owner and the house than we did.

The property was great for what we needed. The owner was attentive. Property could use some upgrades but it was still a great stay.

Super cozy nice neighborhood

It’s a nice cozy house, has a real home like feeling to it. A bit of miscommunication with the dates rented due to it being listed also on Another site. Listing says you have the whole house to yourself but then after booking host tells you someone lives in the basement. Should really include that in the description as it can be off putting for some. Over all, great price for the place! Would stay again.

This was a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy, but perfectly good to spend a night or two at!

I was drawn to this listing because it was said to be in a quiet area. I was woken up at 2am by about a group of 20 teens/young adults yelling and playing loud music (heavy bass) until about 4am. I had a licensing exam at 9am the next morning and wasn’t able to get the rest I needed because of how loud the neighborhood was. I wouldn’t have picked this place if the description of the neighborhood was more accurate. Otherwise a decent place for a quick overnight.

Overall it was what we expected. Would have been nice to have more than two towels for three adults to share.

The property was neat and tidy. It was in a great area. It was spacious and comfortable. There is a shopping complex within walking distance. The only one thing is they ask you to keep your shoes off and the floors are very slippery. My son fell in the hallway so just be careful on the hard wood floors.

The property needs more than cosmetics, very good internet, beds are firm and the surfaces were clean but old. Kitchen faucet coming off the countertop, bathroom sink drains like molasses in the winter outlets that are not completely covered, and the house has a very pungent mildew odor coming from the basement. We could no put our hanging clothes in the closet, I left after two nights with a sinus flair up. The owner was responsive but we were taken aback when we heard voices coming from the basement. I called him to tell him someone was in the basement only to find out it was him. He was spending the afternoon in the basement. This made us very uncomfortable. No warning or notice. It was creepy. Outside trash around property. Gutters falling off the house. College kids visiting the local campus might not care but we were very unhappy with the whole experience.

The property was clean. Was about 20 min to Six Flags. Comfortable beds, no problems with water pressure. A great value. We had a nice stay.

Good place, would stay again

A wonderful family get together was possible due to this well kept house. Plenty of room for three and very comfortable. I hope it's available the next time I visit.

House was good. The owner was very prompt on messaging back. Water pressure was very low and it could use a washer and dryer but overall, the house was very comfortable to stay at. Great quiet neighborhood. I would definitely rent again
