Our stay at this condo was amazing. Condo is exceptionally clean, exceptionally decorated and exceptionally furnished. The kitchen was literally the most completely furnished kitchen we have ever had in a rental. Our hostess and host, Lucy and Doug go so fare beyond being great hosts it is hard to describe. Every need met, every expectation of hosts exceeded. How incredibly unusual to end a week in Princeville with two new friends! We could not possibly exaggerate what a wonderful week it was. The listing was accurate, and the place was fantastic! With there being so many good places to eat in Kauai, we found ourselves getting everything to go just so we could have our meals out in the lanai. The views are amazing from both the lanai and the master bedroom. Lucy was very pleasant. On our first day, she even dropped off some new gear for snorkeling! The check in process was easy. The location of the condo is perfect, being in a nice community full of friendly people. The condo has everything that you'll need in case you'd like to cook a meal, and everything you'd ever need for a day at the beach. The property is not far from Hanalei, which has great places to shop and eat. With Kauai being a small island, it's not too much trouble to drive to the South Shore. I found Princeville and Hanalei to be exactly what I was looking for, in that it's the perfect place to relax for vacation. Upon checking out, Lucy wished us safe travels. I hope I can come back next year!

The condo was pretty and had a great view of the ocean. I was surprised that you had to hike down a steep path to the beach. Prices at nearby places were ridiculously high. Since we wanted to explore a lot of driving was involved. It would have been nice to have a list of nearby places to go for activities.

Cool unique building among a golf course community on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The patio area is very private and HUGE. I literally sat at the dinner table inside and was able to see through the very large windows the spout of a whale passing by…so magical. I also saw them while my kids swam in the great heated pool! There is a nice shady beach below the cliffs that disappeared with the tide in the evening …have to make your way down a bit of difficult path, but my kids did it without any problem. Comfy beds and kitchen had everything we needed. The town is great with plenty of laidback eating and touristy shopping. The owner was very accessible for simple dinner recommendations and other basic questions. Would love to stay again!

What a beautiful property with a beautiful view. You are directly over Hideaways beach and the surf was firing the entire week. If I ever return to the North Shore this property will be my first choice.

Beautiful Condo on Princeville's North Shore! Great access to beaches, beautiful views watching surfers every morning. Condo is well-equipped, clean, and with comfortable beds. Had everything we needed for our stay! Lucy was responsive and check-in was easy. Beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear available for use. Wonderful Christmas Trip with our family! Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Lucy’s condo. It was exactly as described and pictured. Condo was great with everything we needed. Views from the lanai are fantastic. Short walk to beaches and several restaurants. Easy drive to Hanalei. Nice relaxing stay.

Check in was so easy (just show up and use the key pad for access). The condo felt like a home with upto date furniture and kitchen utensils. Location is definitely one of the best on Kauai, next door to 1 Hotel ( previously Ritz Carlton). Host was engaged and local, able to respond to any pressing need (though we had none). Will book this condo again.

The condo is simply amazing. The view and the sound of the pounding surf are hypnotic. Lucy lives nearby and she is very warm and engaging. This is a Princeville gem. We will return next year. Lary

We had an incredible stay. We live Kauai and especially the north side. The views from either lanai are incredible, and watching surfers in the morning is the perfect way to start to the day. The condo is very well stocked and incredibly private for shared living. We loved everything about and Lucy was awesome. Hideaway beach is a true gem and literally steps away. We will return!!!!

Breathtaking views, loved watching surfers everyday from one of two outside seating areas. The condo was quite large with high quality furniture and appliances. Everything we wanted was supplied. Wonderful location, walking distance to the beach. Hosts could not have been better. They went far above and beyond to help us and educate us on the area. I would book any of the properties owned by these hosts without hesitation.

The condo is the perfect place to stay in Princeville. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunsets. The condo has everything you need, including beach chairs, towels, beach toys etc. to make for the perfect beach day. It's walking distance to restaurants and two beautiful beaches - Hideaways Beach and Puu Poa Beach. The hosts are amazing. I highly recommend and plan to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Princeville. The view from the balcony is amazing and everything inside the condo is outstanding.

Doug and Lucy’s condo in Princeville, Kauai was everything and more. Kauai was a bucket list trip for us and the condo was a true hilight. Doug and Lucy were great with communication and guided us to snorkeling gear in the condo. We loved hiking down to Hideaway Beach many times, swimming, snorkeling and watching the sunset. The apartment was so comfortable - with two Lanai’s, a fully stocked kitchen with everything we could want. We enjoyed cooking and having dinners on the lanai with that “view”! I highly recommend this condo and staying on the North Shore if you are looking for something different than the resort-scene. We chose this for the great value (2 BR and kitchen) and comfort vs a resort. Thank you to Doug and Lucy for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We hope to come back one day and stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our trip to Princeville. The views from this condo are amazing. And the location can not be beat. There are a few restaurants that you can walk to and many more that are a short drive. The condo is well equiped and was very comfortable for our family.

We chose it for the location, size, cancellation policy, and air conditioning. It was the perfect choice for us. The owners are great, as a bonus. I’d love the privilege of staying here again.

The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean, comfortable and stocked with everything we needed-from beach gear to cookware to cleaning supplies. It was warm during our visit but the a/c worked great! The location in Princeville provided easy access to both Puu Poa beach and Hideaway beach without the need to drive or find parking. The pool was quiet and never busy. The lanai is perfectly positioned to view every gorgeous sunset. Mahalo for sharing your condo with us for the week.

Beautiful ocean and Mountain View’s. We woke up with coffee on the lanai, listening to the ocean waves and birds chirping. The evening always ending in epic sunsets. It changed by the minute as the sun was setting. Spacious rooms and kitchen. Comfortable beds and couch. The extra rotary fan was a bonus to help with the airflow. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

There is something to be said for waking up to a cliffside oceanfront view, having coffee and breakfast on a private terrace, with the conveniences of home! Property was well appointed and provides access to one of the best snorkel spots on the island! Many thanks for an amazing stay!

The condo is amazing! The views are fantastic, we enjoyed watching the sunsets as well as the surfers and boats cruising by during the day from the deck. The condo is incredibly spacious and was a comfortable place for our family to hang out. The kitchen was well equipped and washer/dryer was a big plus. We didn’t end up using them but there were beach chairs, snorkeling sets, boogie boards, beach toys, towels, and a cooler. The condo location is also great, walking distance to Hideaways Beach and Puu Poa Beach. The host also checked in with us to make sure check-in went smoothly and we had everything we needed. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

The communication, responsiveness and hospitality of the property owner was excellent! Lucy checked to see if we needed anything after we arrived and made herself available to us throughout our stay! The property provided just about any and everything you could anticipate needing. This combined with the view of the ocean was second to none! We absolutely Loved this place!

Clean, comfortable, great location and views. Easy access to beaches and town. Well stocked with all the beach items a family needs. Host very responsive and welcoming. She even brought us delicious homemade crepes!! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic condo in Princeville with jaw dropping views! We had a wonderful stay, cooked delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed them on the spacious outside deck overlooking the sea. Beds were super comfy and A/C was a bonus. Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Great communication with owner. Plus, snorkeling at Hideaway’s was the icing on the cake with the trail right outside the complex. Mahalo!

Our group had a wonderful stay in this condo on the north shore. The unit was overall well equipped and made our stay easy. Parking is right out front and we never had an issue getting a spot by our entrance. The building is quiet and we never noticed noise from any of the other units (besides some daytime construction on a unit down the way, nothing intrusive). Bed in the master was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large dressers on either side to unpack into. The AC was nice to have when we wanted it. Most of the time we had the doors open to hear the ocean but two of our days it was muggy. It was nice to be able to cool down the unit for sleeping at night. The unit was clean when we checked in and the carpet looked recently replaced. Hideaway beach below is challenge to get down to (if your trying to carry gear particularly) so we spent more time at Puu Poa down below the hotel. The newly refreshed swimming pool was very nice and we enjoyed swimming there. We would have no problem booking this unit again for another stay in this area. The host live nearby which is a nice peace of mind.
