Es war ein schönes Hotel mit guter Ausstattung (Pool, Gym, eigene Liegen am Strand) und sehr gutem Frühstück. Manchmal gab es auch einen DJ ab 17:00 Uhr

Der Service liess leider zu wünschen übrig. Unserer Meinung nach war es kein 5-Sterne Standard. Bspw. kommt der Service am Pool/Strand gar nicht oder 1x am Tag, manchmal musste man sogar selbst zur Beachbar laufen um etwas zu trinken zu bestellen. Auch die Preise waren eher hoch für alles. Wir haben nur einmal dort zu Abend gegessen. In Grand World erhält man das gleiche für einen Viertel des Preises. Die Bar hatte am Abend nur bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet und generell ist der Fokus stark auf Familien mit Kindern gerichtet. Dies hatte auch zur Folge, dass es viele Kinder im Pool, am Strand etc. hatte. Das Essen ist ebenfalls leider sehr westlich und die lokale Küche kommt etwas zu kurz. Manchmal mussten wir das Personal bitten unser Zimmer zu machen, da es noch nicht gemacht wurde. Im Gym kann leider die Klimaanlage nicht verstellt werden und es war immer sehr warm.

The location is a bit poor, surrounded by a building site and Grand World is not for me.

Stunning resort. Very clean. Great location. Pool Villa 186, Resort view. The other side is a building site which hasn’t started yet. Amazing size pool. The villa was huge. Not amazing privacy but we didn’t care. Highly recommend. Taxis are very cheap so the secluded location isn’t a problem. Huge stunning complex just walking distance with loads of restaurants and shops. Hope this helps.

Beautiful resort, the views from our room onto the pools and beach were sensational

Very far from everything. There were only shuttle buses to the airport and grand world late in the afternoon which didnt have much going on apart from expensive restaurants and a free water show at 10pm. Grand World was like a deserted town. Would be nice if the hotel would partner up wth Vinhpearls shuttle buses which take guests everywhere to see other part of PQ. PQ is a big island and taxi/Grab fares are very expensive making it harder to get around. Would highly recommend the Sunset town/ An Thom which just been built to replicate different well known places in Italy like Colloseum, Amalfi coast, Kissing bridge, …. Return Grab trip would cost more than 1000K. Plastic bottles were still used everywhere in the hotel. No refill water stations available to reduce plastic waste

The design of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is amazing, the pool is nice.

I got very frustrated because the staff does not understand a word of English which made the communication very difficult and exhausting. In a 5 stars hotel having staff with a good level of English is a minimum I expect. In the bedroom there is no Netflix. The drinks are very expensive and the difference between what they charge and the price disclosed is very obscure. In addition, the beach was disgusting. They only clean the part right in front of the hotel. They charge 1.300.000 for their shuttle to the airport which is very expensive.

The rooms are nice. The pool is nice. The breakfast is diverse and really good. The design of the restaurant very good.

The staff English level is very low. Some of them do not understand when you tell them the room numbers. There is no Netflix in the room. The drinks are quite expensive and you will find out that the price they put on the menu is not the final price you will pay. The beach is very dirty.

This is a really fantastic hotel, located in a nice and quiet part of Phu Quoc, away from the busy centre of the island. The resort is very nice, but not as big as others and so you always get a quick, friendly and personal service from the staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, a welcome drink was given by the staff which was very nice. The room was big, spacious, modern and very clean, and the same for the bathroom. The balcony was great, with very nice views overlooking the pool and the sea. The facilities in the hotel are great, with a games room, kids area, fitness centre, big pool area, 2 restaurants with a wide menu and good drinks, and also a private beach with security and clean sands and sea water. This is the perfect location to see the sunset, and would highly recommend speaking to the staff at the beach restaurant as they can arrange a tapas/drinks picnic to watch the sunset. The hotel also arranges a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, but if your flight times don't meet this, then you can get a free bus from the airport to a nearby report and then a very short caddy/taxi to the Crowne Plaza. The breakfast at this hotel is a big highlight, and there is such a wide variety of choices, and all the food is all very fresh and well prepared. The best part of this hotel though are the staff who are all so genuine, friendly and helpful, the hotel is lucky to have such great staff. I want to thank in particular Nhan, Gin, Ngoc (Jade), An (Tomato), An (Andy), Chi and Danish who went above to make the stay extra special. They would remember drink selections, foods and recommend things to do in Phu Quoc and on mainland Vietnam which was very helpful. Gin and Ngoc (Jade) even personally said goodbye upon check-out and provided complimentary refreshments for the journey to the airport which was a nice touch. The spa was also very nice and I highly recommend the massages. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The service and hospitality of the staff at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc was exceptional, holding that 5 star rating. On arrival we were greeted warmly by Nhi and the team until the day we departed. the amenities and service is also top notch for a family of 4 travelling with a kid under 2.

Rooms are well equipped with all necessary facilities. Pool and beach are outstanding. Staff speak good English and friendly.

Transportation: Hotel must have a shuttle bus/Golf cart for guests to go to the nearby attractions. Dining: Should have at least (2) restaurants and more variety in Breakfast for international guests!

The rooms and the beach are fantastic. The pool area is very big but so is the hotel. The water and the sand are wonderful. It is a huge hotel, has one Restaurant and one Pool Restaurant. The building is very high and it's difficult to create a cozy atmosfere. The staff was kind and helpfull. It exists only a shuttle twice a day to grand world and the hours are not so convenient.

The menus in the restaurants are not very large and mostly the same for both restaurants. I hope they do daily dishes as after 5 days I didn't know what to eat. The only other possibility is to go to grand world, which is a, busy, artificial city. Prices are high there as only for tourism. No other nearby restaurants or villages. The location is isolated. Nearby a huge holiday resort with villas is under construction. They will use the same - up to now private - beach. I am not sure about the crowdyness to come. Even I was looking and asking for the hotel SpA I was unable to locate. Would have appreciated to take massage. Taxis are expensive on Phu Quoc and due to the isolated position it is not easy to find a taxi by Grab. The airport is about 45 minutes away. What I noticed after have been traveling for 3 weeks in Vietnam: it is the only region with really dirty streets. I had been fascinated how clean the big cities such as Hanoi and Saigon are, also the country sides, but Phu Quoc seems like a different country, so dirty. I have been told by other guests that also the South of the island where several 5 stars hotel are located, is the same.

Food at restaurant can be more various, for example, you can have a dinner only at 1 restaurant in the hotel and the menu is 50% consists of disused from the beach bar where you usually have a lunch

Nothing in particular. I just wish the swimming pool was open till late, also the bar could have been left open till late as the bar area looks lovely at night.

The hotel area is very clean and fresh. The beach was superb with clean water and a beautiful view of sunset.

The road to the hotel is very dangerous because of construction site. Need more lampost and warning signs because people were driving left and right on that small and dark road. They need also to take care of the huge pile of trash sitting right under our balcony. Was not a good scenery.
