The location was phenomenal, and the resort was just as good. Beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Great restaurant on site. Loved the pools and hot tubs

Love Villa Capriani, just be weary of who owns the condo! I love the beach and the pool, really that's all I want, give me the beach 🏖️

The property location was great. The pools were nice too
The condo itself was nothing luxurious. It smelt like dog and the outdoor balcony was filled with garbage and what looked like dog hair which was very gross. The bed were super uncomfortable. You could feel the springs inside the mattresses. And just in general the condo was very outdated. It also is not stated that you have to pay extra for a pool pass so you can use the actual beach and pools. That should be noted in the condo listing. You also have to wash the linens and towels before we leave. Since we were leaving so early in the morning management was nice enough to just have us through them in the wash before we left but normally they have to be washed and folded before you leave. I’ve never been to a rental property where u had to do that. Usually the cleaning service will come in and just swap out the dirty towels and linens and you just have to put them in a dirty linen bag so that was interesting. Definitely not happy about having to pay extra for the pool and when that was brought up the company was very rude about it and it’s not stated in the listing at all. Also really stupid how you have to pay extra parking too when there literally no parking at all by the condo and you have to park across the street. Each condo should have a designated parking spot close to the room and then extra should be across the street.

Where do I begin?? First off the condo had not been cleaned at all. There was garbage left from the previous occupants, crap on the toilet, blood drops throughout the condo on the floor, towels in the dryer, dishes in the dishwasher, floor was absolutely disgusting, and not to mention there were numerous roaches in the kitchen that we killed while staying there. No one was available to come clean until the next day, even through we arrived at 5:30 PM. Housekeeping was scheduled to come at 1:00 PM the next day, but did not show up until 8:30 PM. We were given a $75.00 voucher to the restaurant and was told that we would be reimbursed for the cleaning fee, however it has been 3 weeks since our trip and I have not been reimbursed, and today I was told that I would need to contact Booking.com for the reimbursement.

Hoa not friendly, hard to navigate in a electric wheelchair. I am a disabled person. I was promised by someone in the association that I would as well rabbit for o’clock and all they said was when you get here ask them to bring out some maintenance people to help you get your wheelchair off your van and your clothes and everything into your room arrived it, 4 o’clock on the dock nobody knew what the hell I was talking about. I did not check in until around 8 PM in the police had to help me check in no one was there in charge the two ramps for the parking lot. Handicap rooms were full of cars I could not get my wheelchair electric wheelchair up to the floor for two hours, the police came out and helped me take my card off. They help me check in the room they help me bring my clothes up. They were a big service and there was no one in charge in this complex. Nowhere to be seen no maintenance man to help me out and last, but not least. I came down and drove seven hours for my daughters wedding. She was married here in topsail Island, but the reception was then in the complex I missed both my wedding my daughters wedding and the reception I’m not happy happy Raven seven hours handicapped. Nobody has any sympathy and empathy or nothing the only people are treating me nice with a restaurant recipe to take care I have bruises I have cuts abrasions on my arms where I had to go through about three or four sets of doors to get to my room and every time I get halfway through that door it would slam on my arm I will show the HOA manager and charges tomorrow morning which will be the 17th.

pools and restaurants were very nice and convenient.
not much parking near the condo. had to park across the street the whole trip. be prepared to do ALL the towels, bedding and dishes before you check out. there was no laundry detergent left for us to use so had to buy that. I have never stayed somewhere where this is required. I slept on the couch the final night because who has time to do all that laundry before checking out before 20 am? I don’t know what the cleaning person would have left to do. Also parking and pool passes are extra on top of what you reserve the room for. we did not receive the 2 parking passes. thankfully we did not get towed. tried contacting the rental company by phone, text, and email. never heard back from anyone except for the emergency contact they had listed who doesn’t work for them anymore.

First: it must be noted that the cost as quoted does not include access to the pool, hot tubs, beautiful courtyard, private beach access, or parking. So the cost quoted is fairly limited.
We found the rooms themselves to be pleasant. I would be surprised if they were recently renovated. But they were acceptable rooms.
I was overwhelmed by the overhead in renting the facility. In total, I believe I received about 22 emails and texts prior to our three day stay. Repetitive emails asking for the same information over and over.
That did not include the texts dealing with the problems we had, and the emails afterward, asking for reviews of the property. I was looking for quick relaxing getaway, and 22 emails prior to moving in was not a getaway.
In addition, the day before I was scheduled to check in, I received a text from the owner of the facility at 3 AM. I consider it completely out of line to receive texts from anyone I’m doing business with at 3 AM.
Our biggest problem was with the keypad access. It worked fine initially, but we had some difficulties leaving the property on the first evening. We finally used the door knob lock to lock the property. Upon returning home, we couldn’t gain access to the property. We contacted the owner who fairly quickly accused us of breaking something on the property and implied that we would be responsible for the cost of the locksmith. The owner had never accounted for the possibility that a guest might use the door knob lock, and never had a key available in the event the door knob lock was used. We were locked out for several hours and NO accommodation was made for us. We were told we were being DISRESPECTFUL expecting this to be handled by the owner. Finally my daughter used a credit card to jimmy open the door and gain entry to the room.
Odds and ends: be careful using the recliners without assistance in the room to operate the mechanisms.
Toilet cycled on every few minutes throughout our stay.

We stayed in 307A the room was old and dirty. Used the washer and it overflowed all over the floor guess some suits are up dated. 307A is not. The furniture is very old and dirty. Blankets had stains. I would never stay there again. Definitely needs a good cleaning and up dating. Then the want you to clean before you leave. Swipe, sheets, and dishes wash and put away. Believe me you don't want to stay in 307A.

The living room furniture could use some updating as well as the dining table - the top is very wobbly. We also had very few washcloths. The light is burnt out in the refrigerator.

The directions in the welcome brochure were a little off - I received 2 different codes for the door lock - thankfully one of them worked. We were not impressed with having to launder and put away all of our bath linens when we had to be out by 10:00. We ended up doing them the night before and going to the dollar store to buy a couple of towels to shower with on the morning of our departure. Also, it wasn't made clear what to do with the bed linens. We just stripped our beds and laid them on top of the bed.
