Excelente Hostel

Hay un poco de ruido en la noche por que está al lado de la calle, pero es mínimo

buenísima ubicación, staff muy amable, cama muy cómoda y baños muy limpios.

hacía mucho frío en el cuarto pero no es algo que ellos puedan controlar. solo me hubiera gustado que ofrecieran cobijitas.

Hay servicio a parte de laundry, buenas personas , a cerca de los comercios y bares, limpio , cocina libre para uso , camas buenas. Aire condicionado y personas simpáticas.

Es muy cómodo, el personal muy amable, muy bien ubicado y el hotel es muy bonito!

I liked how the beds were they were bunks and single beds. The rooms were clean It was skittle better than I expected base on the prices.

The fact that a couldn't cook for myself I would have to eat what they cook or buy from them So I opted for an Airbnb instead.

I stood outside for about an hour at 6 am when I went out for a smoke. You may not get into the hostel

I think the hostel is very simple considering it costs almost 17 E to sleep in 8 people room. The beds are comfortable but there is only one light in the whole room so anyone coming in wakes up everyone with strong white light. And it is located in the middle of a nightlife area, so people are coming in during the whole night. The AC has an unpleasant smell and is very loud.

My stay at My Family In Monterey was fantastic! It is located in the perfect place downtown right in the heat of all the action and not far for a quick trip to the mountains. The facility is nice, it matches the photos. What I really enjoyed though was the people! The staff are all friendly and fun and I got to meet so many interesting travellers who came from all over the world and all had their own fascinating story to learn about.

Location is good.

No hot water. Night receptionist does not respect the guests-he came in the room with another guest after midnight,turning on the light,when a flashlight/mobile would have been sufficient. There were other people sleeping in the room. (Other guests did the same,completely disregarding that it is a shared room,but that's not the hostel's fault.) The room facing the street is very noisy, cars all night.

Location was amazing!

Advertised as best room … but no furniture other than bed. No view. Across the road from hostel and kitchen and shower faucet shot water everywhere. For the price I’d have expected a bit more.

The hostel was in the barrio antiguo very easy to reach by metro! everything was fine there!

Halfway through my stay i arrived to find that i had been moved beds without my previous knowledge. When i went downstairs staff notified me that i had been sleeping in the wrong bed for 2 nights. I stated the staff who admitted me told me to take a bottom bed and to notify her the number which i did. So the error was on their behalf after like 2 hours of trying to solve the issue they moved me to a bigger room which was nice. What made me upset was moving my stuff without my knowledge, the way the front desk staff phrased her words to belittle me like i had made an error, and the general unwillingness to help until a new front desk worker came in. Better training should be provided to staff.

Wonderful staff, good kitchen, easy to meet fellow travelers, and location is walking distance from everything. As is always the case no matter where yo travel, bring earplugs

it's almost impossible to beat a 10/10, but it happened! this year's hostel stay wasn't even nicer than last year. a warm receptionist named Johnathan checked me in. even though we shared the front room, he was barely in there, so the room felt like it was mine. 2 outlets are at every bunk. there is no key for the front door for added security, but a pin pad. it was also the first time i used the stove and i met a friend every there i was there. wifi was perfect. best hostel in monterrey, hands down.

i think cold mornings like this one i'm writing the review damper the hostel effect - as half the hostel is outdoors. but it's usually very nice outside.
