This location is perfect for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids or for an adult family (no more than 5 people). We had four adults (3 siblings, one parent), and it was exactly what we needed. Comfortable, location was perfect (you need a car). The house was clean, the host was responsive, and the views were amazing. I loved how we were able to drive in and out of the city and around the surrounding areas with ease. You are close to a very upscale mall and a whole foods. Beaches near by. Our hike at Capilano was amazing. The food is wonderful (don't forget Richmond).

We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the front patio are amazing. The house was clean and Maya was easy to get in touch with. Very convenient to groceries and restaurants as well.

A group of five friends attending a conference in Vancouver stayed here to avoid hotel rooms and the traffic of downtown. What a great decision! Unfortunately, it rained most of the five days that we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the incredible views from the porch, but we did sit at the corner windows many, many times just staring out at the scene in front of us. The house was clean, well stocked, and perfect for the number of us. Maya, the property owner/manager, was always responsive when we did have a question, but we didn't have much reason to reach out as there were no issues. It was a short walk to restaurants, shopping (both food and clothing), and coffee shops. When we did have to go downtown, it was a 10 minute Uber ride. I love West Van, and I would highly recommend this house and the location for any trip to Vancouver.

The views from Beach House were wonderful. From the living room, the dining room and the deck, it was so relaxing just looking at Lions Gate Bridge and the harbor! Enjoyed Park Royal mall as well.
What is mentioned in the property's description is correct. However, out of concern for future guests who may have physical challenges, some details should be added. I had emailed and inquired in advance about stairs, which are challenging for one in our group. I was assured that the master, kitchen and living room are upstairs, so there is no need to go downstairs. Yet, we were not cautioned that there are 15 steps to the front door (the picture shows the top 5 steps).
The stairs to go downstairs has a handrail, but nothing for the first 4 or 5 steps.
The descriptions mention a tub and also a shower downstairs; however, in all fairness, a picture would have shown that it is such a narrow shower.
Maya was apparently out of town and had to call me to respond to any emails. However, when we lost TV reception and a code showed up, I emailed and then called her, but never got a response. We finally did trouble shooting on our own. She never responded.
We were also told that the fireplace has manually been turned off, because the house was being heated already. That was disappointing, because fireplaces do add a wonderful touch at the end of the day.
All in all, a nice neighborhood, awesome views, but it would be appreciated if the owner could be more open about things.

My husband, son, daughter in law and I stayed in this property for a week at Xmas. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. We were very busy with Xmas social activities so the only meals we had at the house, were breakfast. Kitchen was suitably stocked for that. The location is excellent to access the highway, or to get downtown. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Was very happy with our stay. Close to family we were visiting and central to all attractions and shopping. Maya was very helpful and very quick to return my messages throughout the booking. Woukd book there again.

I grew up in this neighborhood and it was lovely to stay for a long weekend with my family. Close to Park Royal, outdoor recreation, and easy to get to Lions Gate. The house was super clean and in excellent repair. We didn’t encounter any issues or concerns. My kids loved finding the toys downstairs.

Lovely west Vancouver home with great views from the patio. The home was very comfortable and spacious. It was a little warm this time of year, but the house has an a/c unit in the main living room and several fans were provided. We spent almost the entire time exploring the city so by the evening things cooled off nicely… perfect to enjoy amazing views of the city. The neighborhood offers shopping and restaurants. There is a shopping area with nice grocery store within walking distance at the bottom of the hill. The host responded very swiftly. Wonderful stay

Perfect location with superb view
This property is perfectly located, close to lots of out-of-town activities and less than 30 minutes to downton Vancouver. It is a quiet neighbourhood a few minutes walking distance to Park Royal Mall and beautiful Ambleside Village with its beach, seawall, shops and restaurants. The property is perfect for a family stay (4 adults and 2 young children in our party). Maya was always responsive to our needs and very easy to deal with. We had a fantastic 2 week stay.

Charming House with Magnificent View
We spent just under two weeks at this charming house on Sentinel Hill in West Vancouver. It's on a quiet street, with quick access to major thoroughfares, so it is easy to get to Lion's Gate, up the coast to Squamish, or over to Highway 1. It's located within walking distance of Park Royal, which has a movie theatre, restaurants and grocery shopping, as well as a number of retail stores. It's also easy walking to Ambleside, and the West Vancouver Centennial Seawalk.
The house is well set up and comfortable, but what makes it extraordinary is the view from the living room and dining room over the water. The top of the garage is also a deck which faces the water. You can see from Lion's Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and all the way out to Lighthouse Park. The house has a bit of an extra view, because it is on a hill both north to south, and east to west, so the houses in front and to the left are lower.
The front and backyard are landscaped, and the backyard has a lovely seating area.
Our family loved the location, the house and the view. Maya was a pleasure to deal with, and very responsive to any inquiries. We highly recommend Maya and the house!

Very clean house with a kitchen fully equiped to cook. Good internet, a patio with a superb view on Stanley Park and Vancouver city. All the shop you could need are few minutes away from the house. Close and easy acces to the highway to get up north or to Vancouver. We would rent it if we get to travel again to Vancouver. Thank you
