First time staying within the Kiawah Island Golf Resort and this house was perfect for our family. The house itself was gorgeous with the two story ceilings throughout the first floor and the grand doorways. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and stocked well with nice towels and comfortable sheets. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch but the pool and views were the best part! Would definitely come back and stay at this property again!

This home was perfect for my family. The home was clean, welcoming, and in a beautiful location with walking distance to the beach. If dining out for dinner on the island, make sure to get reservations. Also if available, I recommend paying for heating the pool as that is a highlight! Renting bikes was a lot of fun too.

This house was truly the bomb. How this house is situated with the pool, marsh view, and porch area was spectacular. I've stayed at many places in kiawah. This one was special. Cozy large bedrooms/beds. Instant paradise.

The house is clean and has very nice furniture and appliances and a well appointed kitchen. Beds were comfy. The house has very high ceilings and the upstairs requires going up a large flight of stairs. Keep this in mind if you have anyone with mobility issues. All the homes on Kiawah Island are elevated so you must enter the house via a lot of stairs too. The pool is small but clean, warm and good for cooling off. The view of the marsh is lovely and relaxing. Cooked every night and setup for cooking and dining was great. The great room/TV situation could be better. The TV size and placement doesn’t allow for comfortable viewing for all. Wished they provided a few pool or beach related items. Getting to the beach wasn’t that convenient or easy for those who can’t walk or bike. Parking was an issue. For us not worth renting chairs and umbrellas. Overall the house was great.

This house was nothing short of amazing!!! It is extremely rare for me to leave a beach rental without having any little complaints or future recommendations, but this house was just perfect! I have absolutely no complaints! For our arrival, the house was in pristine condition & was fully supplied to fit the needs of larger group — more than enough kitchenware/dinnerware, towels, etc. I will definitely be returning!

We stayed for the marathon and had a lovely time. The house is beautiful and the decor is lovely. Our children loved the heated pool! Kitchen was well-stocked! We hope to book again!

Perfect Vacation Home for Family
We took a week at Kiawah to run the marathon and enjoy life for a moment. This property was perfect for us and the kids (5, 6, and 8). Rooms for everyone. Bathrooms for everyone. Large open floor plan.

Fantastic location
Beautiful area of Kiawah. Absolutely loved that we could walk to the beach. Pool was lovely. Overall, the house was clean but was showing some wear and tear.

Overall excellent, convenient, with a nice pool.
One thing, the garbage was not removed from the prior guests as it was not in the bins, so I had to load it for the garbage man! Also one pool light out and no kettle in the kitchen. Minor points.... we didn’t mind the short ride to the beach, and liked the quiet dead end road this house is on. Overall great place thank you!!

I want to go back!
Geoff's home on Kiawah Island is so restful and full of plenty of amenities that it is hard to think of this place without wondering when I am going back. He is very easy to communicate with and has thought through his property thoroughly. Even though it doesn't need it, he is constantly looking for ways to upgrade this beautiful house. When a problem arose with the pool on a previous visit, he responded immediately. Kiawah Island is well-maintained and this home is the one we will continue to come back to.

Beautiful Kiawah home
We had a wonderful time at the Vanderhorst Plantation home! The home is incredibly beautiful and feels very private. This was our first visit to Kiawah, so it took a day or so to kind of get the lay of the land, but the whole island is just gorgeous - we rented bikes and had a great time biking around with our boys. Beach access is a little bit far for just a walk; you wouldn’t want to walk with beach chairs/etc., especially if you have older family members or small children with you that aren’t the most mobile, but we found a parking area about a mile from the house that you could use to access the beach. But the house and pool are so nice, it’s hard to leave anyway! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful Kiawah Home
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We came to Kiawah tired from our busy lives, and left rested and refreshed- just what we needed. The beds were very comfortable, which is everything in my book. We enjoyed the lovely views of the marsh each morning and evening, and even saw several deer out back, plus a plethora of birds. The home was decorated beautifully and was located on a lovely part of the island, convenient to everything. Thank you for a great stay!

This house has it all!!! Beautiful rooms, beautiful views, infinity pool, and a porch perfect for sitting and catching up!! We loved staying here in the quiet of Kiawah Island but close enough to all the activities. Perfect getaway for best friend couples that love to travel!!

Absolutely gorgeous property!!
Well, all of the previous reviews are confirmed. This property is perfect. It was myself, wife, and our three young children. It's like this house was tailor-made for our trip. Aside from location, pool, setting. The amenities and decoration of the home were outstanding. The kind of place that makes you think about moving to Kiawah full-time. Look no further for a great vacation home.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway
This Club Cottage home is beautiful. Recently updated and tastefully decorated, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The ocean is close enough to hear on the screened porch and the heated pool was great for the cool weather that we had. The owner and property managers were helpful and attentive. We highly recommend this home and hope to return soon!

Wonderful Home
Our entire large family spent a week there after my daughter graduated college. It is a great place, well kept and maintained, great location on the island. It has an infinity pool and a short walk to the beach. Kiawah is beautiful. Everything worked nicely. Compliments to the owners who have really done a great job with this place. I would recommend without hesitation.

3 club cottage lane
House was awesome. Had 3 couples and 2 kids and had a blast. Great lay out from kitchen to family room to pool. Well designed and well decorated. Owner was very accommodating during the entire process.

Family Vacation
We had an amazing stay in this beautiful location and home. Pictures and description online are perfectly accurate. Concierge service available for all needs, bike rentals, reservations, etc. Service prompt. Infinity pool, overlooks wooded area, off of the back porch. Wildlife visible, amazing! Beach 7-10 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride. Highly recommend this home for families, with generations of all ages!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The beach was a easy 3 to 5 minute bike ride, which was easier then driving (we rented bikes and carts). We also took advantage of the pool and screened in porch every evening. We found the home to have plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 children (age two and under). Kiawah is a wonderful island, great for families and offers many activites, adventures, and wildlife to observe.

Multifamily vacation home
Beautiful home that can accomodate many visitors. Each bedroom has either a king bed or two queens with an adjoining bathroom. Our married children could bring the grandkids and each family could stay in a bedroom comfortably. Kitchen has every cooking utensil/pan/dish you could possibly need and a very large table means all can sit together for a family meal. Was worried initially about small children in the pool but with adult supervision all went well with no mishaps. Bike ride to the beach was short and easy. Very satisfied.

As advertised!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very comfortable for everyone. There was a total of eight of us and there was enough room for all of us. We cooked in a couple nights and the dining room was a great room to enjoy a big sit down dinner.
I especially enjoyed the new Sonos system in the house. This is so much better than dealing with Cd's and Ipods.
The owner Geoff, was very good at communicating with me throughout the process of renting his house.
I would recommend this house to friends or family and we are strongly considering another rental here next year.

The welcoming kitchen provided all the utensils and items we needed to cook dinner. Once you stay at 3 Club Cottage you'll wonder why you stayed anywhere else.

Long time Kiawah visitor
Loved the accommodations. Wish the kitchen was better furnished (we cook in 2/3 times during stay). Owner very helpful with questions and would recommend to a friend or relative. Listing accurate and property well maintained. All restaurants on the island are great-we enjoy the Atlantic room and the barbecue the most.
