Great little place, as advertised

Mermaid Cottage is a lovely cottage in Homer. immaculately clean, great location easy walk to a few great restaurants, a wonderful gallery and the beach. We had a great stay even able to cook our freshly caught halibut on the provided grill. I highly recommend Connie’s please if you stay in Homer.

I have been going to Homer for my birthday for 15 years and have stayed many different places. This is one of my favorite. The perfect location-easy access to everything Homer has to offer.

Great location: 1 block from beach access, easy neighborhood walking, bakery 1 block away. Loved our stay here.

Just what is needed for a long weekend. Walk to the beach, breakfast, and great jumping off spot for exploring Homer and restaurants.

Homer is great! This place has what you need. Grill available so we were able to grill up some burgers instead of eating out every meal. Additionally this VRBO is very clean! Family of 4 fit perfectly

This property is a perfect location if you're interested in being able to walk to most of your destinations. We walked to the beach daily, across the street to restaurants, it was perfect.

From the moment I booked the rental, Connie was so helpful and accommodating to make sure I was taken care of. She was so easy to get a hold of and if I had any questions, they were answered right away. The location of the property was perfect, being close to the beach, and some of our favorite restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again the next time I visit Homer!

This is an incredible find in the charming town of Homer! There are 4 cottages on the property, just across the street from Bishops Beach and down from Two Sisters Bakery. La Serena was perfect for our group of 4. Everything you need is here - very comfortable beds with lots of pillows, super clean, fully stocked kitchen, and even a front deck with a grill. Communication was excellent and we felt welcomed and happy. We loved our home away from home and definitely will be back!

Very pleasant, quiet and functional

The property was very clean, and was within a short walking distance from the beach and our favorite restaurant Fat Olives. The property had two bedrooms, but would be a tight fit if additional guests weren't your children and the couch only seated two. I would recommend the property for a couple, or a family of 4. Super cute and quaint property. The property host was amazing! She was so helpful when one of our fishing trips was unexpectedly canceled she helped find another charter. We loved Homer and will definitely stay here again ☺️. Thank you, Connie- you’re the best!

Wonderful and quiet little cabin in a cute yard of flowers. Moments from the best coffee and beach walk in Homer. Kitchen full of supplies made cooking easy. Comfortable beds and a real cozy vibe overall.

Great location in Homer to walk to Bishop's Beach and local bakery! Great view of the bay and mountains. Place was very clean and quiet.

This was a very comfortable, well stocked and conveniently located cabin. In a matter of minutes we could be on the Homa split. I highly recommend it for others.

We booked this property about 3 weeks before arriving, and Connie our host communicated with me on the day of our arrival with check in instructions, and was very helpful throughout our stay. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything you could want, and it’s a short 3 min walk to the ocean, and amazing shops and art studios. We had a great stay and would book again!

Very well equipped kitchen, great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days in the cottage. Look forward to returning next year.

This super cute cottage is across the street from the magnificent Two Sisters Bakery and a quick walk to Bishop's Beach. The place is cute and the grounds are full of flowers and cheerful touches. Our check in process was easy, and communication from the host was great. We would definitely stay again!

great location easy walk to the beach

Perfect location in Old Towne for walking to the beach or to grab a bite. The cottage was overall very clean. While we did not have our dogs with us, the place seemed very inviting to bring your pooches along, complete with water bowl and dog blankets! The particular one we stayed in had a slight smell like it had been smoked in previously. There are multiple signs asking people to smoke outside, so this could have been from the previous management and something they are trying to remedy. Highly recommended and we will definitely try to stay here again when we return!

Outstanding! You can tell this property has superior management. Every need was anticipated and provided for. Clear, concise instructions for check-in and check-out. It was seamless. Truly wonderful stay!
