was very clean and had everything we needed! it was really cosy in the evening, the host was really welcoming and suggested nice restaurants.

What a wonderful lodge this is, with a lovely warm & friendly welcome from Jude. The lodge is modern, clean and has beautiful views, even in the winter. The site is peaceful and friendly.

It wasn’t so much a dislike, just a better if (and probably just personal touches which are different for us all) What would make this stay even better would be if there were a lamp in the living area and a later check out of 11am, or even the option to pay for the extra hour. However, like I say these are even better ifs and just because they weren’t there/an option it didn’t spoil our stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

every thing about the lodge was lovely - clean home from home with in a lovely location .

There was just a few items that had been broken like the fittings on the blinds had come away from the wall nothing that put us off the accommodation

Noisy main road. Beds very soft. Boiler on and off all night very noisy.

It could have a mirror on the wall , also tv not working good ,eventually got it going ,instructions would be good.

The accomodation was very clean,comfortable and light due to all the windows. Host was very friendly and made us feel welcome. A pleasurable experience and a great location.

Green grass !! Stylish lodge, loved the Balcony. Lovely relaxed feel. Loved the sun on different sides of the lodge morning and evening.

Kitchen window needs the blind. The ITV channels didnt work -Jude explained.

Beautiful lodge and very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable, plenty of storage space and views were exceptional, simply stunning!. Everything you might need was available in the lodge. Shower was lovely and powerful. Lots of windows made it light and airy and you have lovely sunset views. Jude was there to meet and greet us and was incredibly helpful. Easy access into Thirsk. I didn't want to leave but it was only available for 2 nights sadly.

Minor issues just with the TV in that we couldn't access Now Tv as you needed a code which didn't seem to be supplied anywhere? The french doors leading to the decking don't shut together properly (they do shut and lock) but there is a big gap at the bottom corner which didn't affect us but may be drafty in winter and could potentially be a security issue? Road noise was noticeable and kept my husband who's a light sleeper awake but didn't interfere with my sleep!. No blind over the kichen window (looked like there had been previously?) which meant you didnt have much privacy at night in that area. Chairs outside are also far too low for the table.

Excellent communications with owners. Host onsite Jude, very friendly and helpful. Beautifully clean lodge with everything you need. Peaceful site, lovely views, would definitely stay again

the owner amd her family were so accomadating and nice and i was pleasantly supprised with how nice and clean it was it was perfect, the area was beutifull too.

the local taxi services into the town are limited so book early but its a fantasic base to explore the yorkshire moors

Home from home comforts. Well situated for local visits Easy to locate The couch, fire bowl, dish washer and heating lol.
