My family and I had a terrific stay at Bearfoot in the Smokies cabin. It was too short at just three nights. It’s rare that the pictures of a location are truly accurate but they were spot on in this case. The cabin and all its amenities was perfect for our family of seven. A wonderful place.

Property was great and exactly what we needed

Our family had a wonderful time staying at the cabin in the Smokies. We got to see bears up close and enjoyed all that we did. The hosts were great and responded quickly to all inquiries.

The cabin was clean and well equipped. I would have liked a bigger living area for our family to be able to stay in the same area. Overall our experience was a good one. Thank you. There was no contact with anyone about the cabin.

There were 8 of us staying in this fabulous cabin. My husband and I, his son (20) and his girlfriend (22), my daughter (18) and son (16) and his daughter (18) and her boyfriend (20). Having the game room was a game changer! We all had something to do every single night! A lot of bonding time. All the kids watched a movie one evening on the super cute cinema theater. There was so much room for us. Kitchen was well stocked, so many decks to sit on! We ate on the outside table 3 nights, sat in the huge hot tub. My husband and I enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable and when we arrived it was super clean (very important to me)! I wanted to see bear soooo badly. And we saw bear about 4 times on this property and twice in other areas. By the end, all of us girls were obsessively looking for them. Very cool to us and made it such a great experience. We were not in all the congestion due to the location, but close enough to enjoy hiking in the mountains, some restaurants, downtown Gatlinburg and Skybridge, etc. I would 100% stay here again. If you are on the fence, this one is a great one!

We loved this property! Beautiful views and easy access to all the sites. We loved the theater room and hot tub! Can’t wait to book the next excursion. The host are amazing with immediate responses.

Amazing house with everything you need for the week. Fun things like games, air hockey, pool table, hot tub and many more. Very clean and great property. We had 3 couples and some kiddos and all were very pleased. Homeowner is awesome. We are staying here again when we come to Gatlinburg!

Great property with plenty of space for all of us and amenities. Loved having pools available to us. Location was perfect with stores and uncrowded delicious restaurants close by so we could avoid the business of the main drag. Check in process was simple and the cabin had everything that we needed with a close by grocery store for all of our food needs. Clean and comfortable with enough room for our group and plenty to keep them entertained while we were there.

This property was perfect for our 7-person group (5 adults, 2 teens). We could easily have accommodated more people. The whole home was very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms especially felt almost new. Hot tub was in great condition. We cooked every meal there and found the kitchen met our needs well. The kitchen had a slow cooker if you are the type of person who would use that on your trip. Generous towels for the whole group. Beds were really comfortable. Only one bedroom has a dresser which I should have realized from the pictures. But the rooms without dressers had suitcase stands to keep luggage off the floor and drawers and cabinets in the bathrooms. Most of our group was fine living out of their luggage so it was no big deal. We brought our dog. Keep in mind that the reason this home has such great views is that it's nearly on the top of the hill/mountain which means there is no yard to let your pup outside, definitely need a leash because once you leave the house you are in community spaces. The pools were both nice but would be a challenge to walk to. Again you are on a hill but the pools are down low closer to the entrance or on the other side of the community. It was no big deal for us to drive. You are close to downtown Gatlinburg but also far enough away that you can explore more than the main tourist areas without having to drive too far.

Great communication with the hosts. Cabin was clean and provided plenty of space for our family of 11.

We all had a wonderful time during our stay. Many memories that will last a lifetime. If we ever come to Gatlinburg again, we would definitely stay here.

This property was clean, had a lot of amenities, and was comfortable. The kids were sad to leave! The owner was very responsive to any questions.

Great Family Cabin with layout to accommodate all ages. We enjoyed all of the amenities and spent many nights relaxing in the hot tub!

Our family trip wound up just being myself, daughter and 3 grands ages 6, 4 and age 1. So we had tons of room. Kids loved game room. Loved the view. I would love to stay again. I would suggest a TV in bunk room for kids. They wouldn't sleep in there due to that reason. And maybe a ramp at end of porch. I have M S, did not need chair inside but would have been nice to have parked it on porch. Not a fan of glass doors on showers hard to get in and out off. But it was an overall 5 rating stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again

This cabin could have been a vacation destination on its own. We had pool tournament’s, air hockey matches, and serious battles over who could get the highest score in Ms. PAC-man. We watched Top Gun - Maverick in the “theatre” and it was just like seeing it at the Movies. We had killer Phase 10 matches at the large dining table and I was able to sneak off to the back porch and the quiet when the competition got a little too heated. Plenty of room to hang out together or get away for some quiet. If we make it back to Gatlinburg, we will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in this area before and finally saw bears! We booked this cabin with the hopes the bears would come around again and we were not disappointed! Place was clean and we had everything we needed for a great weekend. The host communicated right away and answers any questions! Would stay again.

Beautiful cabin that was very comfortable and perfect for us. I appreciate the communication and the cabin was exactly as listed. From the hot tub to the views, it was an amazing stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and the property manager was super responsive and sent someone out immediately to resolve the issue. The house was clean and well maintained! We hope to visit again.

What a great property! Rental and check in was super easy. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of room for our family of 8. So nice to be able to sit and enjoy meals together! Game room and movie theater was a big hit with everyone. Nice hot tub with privacy fence. Enjoyed the views and location; only 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to everything we wanted to do. Would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were great and very attentive to our needs.

We had an awesome time at Bearfoot in the Smokies!! 6 adults and 4 kids ages 6-12. The kids loved the top floor game room. Very comfortable and a good location.

Being able to come here for a vacation it was nice the hosts were exceptional

Note: The owner thanked us for identifying a few issues, offered to fix a few things while we were there (?) and did leave us a new coffee maker but I still could not bring myself to call this a 5 star rental for the premium rent we paid for. What do you think? Little things: [1] Garbage disposal with coffee maker parts (therefore coffee maker doesn’t work [2]), sponge and lemon; [3] extra pillows but no pillow cases; [4] bathrooms with no trash can; [5] only one bedroom with a drawer chest and one of the drawers was broken; [6] 2 bathrooms have sliding glass doors on tub that had broken wheel glides; [7] a floor heating grate was broken and a small foot could fall through; [8] the pool table is okay for kids but 2 bumper rails were dead doesn’t allow for good play; [9] the great big movie tv is nice but the ten theater seats are very uncomfortable none of the guests watched a movie there; [10] ceiling light hanging loose over the kitchen sink.

BearFoot was a great location and a nice cabin. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative was bugs(sorry)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The kids had so much fun playing in the game and watching movies in the movie theater. The views were great and every room equipped with the necessities and own full bathroom was a bonus. Cabin was within minutes drive into town and stores. Highly recommend for big groups.

A beautiful & peaceful log cabin with everything we needed! Our family enjoyed all of the amenities, especially the hot tub & pool table! Quiet area, & only a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! Wonderful place to stay!
