La vista. Las instalaciones

Excelente ubicación. Excepcionalmente tranquila y acogedora.

Location was stunning and a photographer's dream to get fabulous sunrise and sunset through the bedroom window.
Staff were very helpful, but it was a surprise to discover how few people in this area (not just the hotel) speak English - I would jhave been better prepared if I'd known, but Google Translate proved absolutely essential in the whole region.
Breakfast choices were very limited - did not match the price and the boutique nature of this hotel.

The location is wonderful as are the grounds and the hotel itself is very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good as was the food we had. It was a bit odd to have to pay for access to the jacuzzi, but it is quite nice.
The selection for meals was limited and many of the things listed on the menu were not available. This is an issue if you don't have a car, as there is no restaurant in the vicinity.
The staff speak little or no English.

This is a charming historic inn/hotel. The property has a magnificent lake view and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The staff spoke very little English and we spoke very little Spanish but they were patient with us and it all worked out great.
The restaurant had very limited options that were actually available. What they did have was very good.

This is the second time in a few months we stay at Casa Molino, so we can say for sure we are in love with the place. The tranquility and the vistas are superb. The direct access to the lake is a bit tricky but appreciated altogether, especially this time of year when the water is not *that* cold. The staff is all too kind and attentive, especially Alfredo. The facilities are well-kept and clean. Finally, the hotel pets, Milka and Eros, are just the cherry on top making the whole experience worth the cost.
The restaurant is for sure the weakest point of Casa Molino, the dishes are very expensive (in the rare occasion they are available), and there are not that many options to begin with. We've been told they are about to undergo a renovation which will include a new kitchen, so hopefully some of these issues will be alleviated soon. I would like to see a more affordable menu for guests, that encourages them to stay for longer. In our case, we just didn't stay for longer because we were bound to eat all our meals at the restaurant (we didn't rent a car this time), and it was way too expensive and unsatisfactory.

if your goal is to stroll around the town of Puerto Varas, this may not be the hotel for you. But if you want to be a peaceful, gorgeous, out of the way place with beautiful views, great food and excellent service, I highly recommend. Warning: the hotel is not easy to find, so use Google maps or ask your taxi or Uber to do so. we have stayed here twice now and we will do so again.
Everything is beautiful. The only downside is you are not close to town, so take this into consideration. This hotel is designed to be an experience where you will not have to leave the property.

The historia of the place
The Staff, we had every time to así for things at breakfast. When arriving late no one receive us, no bottle of water or ammenities in the room. I forgot my Phone and no one call me back. For been a boutique hotel the service if poor Just to sleep dos not worth the money

Unreal volcano views and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in all my life. Go for the Ensenada suite!

The breakfast is very nice with fresh fruit and eggs cooked how you like. Coffee and fresh Juice. Views are amazing and the building is an old family estate converted into hotel accommodations. Wonderful lake views from our room on the second floor. Room are appointed to a high standard making the stay very nice.
The access road is unsealed and prertty rough and could be a shock for some people expecting 5 star. It's only around 1.5km but is bumpy. The internet is prerty good but the credit card terminal wouldn't connect in their office for payment which was slightly inconvienent.
