Sylvie was very helpful and her communication with us was brilliant. The house is in a great location. It's a 15 minute walk to the old town and 5 minutes to the new town. Very close to the beautiful river too. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed for our stay.

Received a very warm welcome from Sylvie/Luc.The images of property don’t do it justice, property is immaculate and stylish and very homely.The kitchen is well equipped for cooking local produce from market (Saturday am).The property is 10 minute journey on shuttle bus from airport (€6 per person)and then a 5 minute walk. The property is located in and ideal location being 10 minutes from the Cite and 10/15 minutes to main square for bars/restaurants/Carrefour and train station/Canal du midi. The garden of the property is a beautiful mature garden with fruits trees and beautiful flowers.Ideal for sitting out sunbathing and eating. You have a view of the Cite from balcony of property also.Cannot speak highly enough of Sylvie from start of booking process until our last day when she organised a taxi for us, a great host. I would highly recommend property and Carcassone as an area to travel to as local train station also offers links to Toulouse and further a field.

We had a great stay, the property was perfect cool and comfortable and having a garden to relax in after a day exploring was wonderful. It is in a perfect location for visiting the Cite and the Bastide and an easy walk to both. Sylvie was a perfect host and very helpful. We would love to stay again.

Great location, walking distance to the best bits of Carcassonne. Host was lovely, helpful and welcoming. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Garden perfect for a bit of sunbathing. Footpath alongside nearby river provides good walking/running loop. There is also a nice lake about 20mins away with beach.

This spacious and comfortable house is perfectly located to visit both the commercial town and the Medieval city, as well as the River Aude. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and your host is gracious and attentive. The terrace with its large table is a perfect spot to relax with friends. I stayed at Le Jardin de Pierrette for a month, and could have happily stayed longer.

We wanted somewhere we could walk to Carcassonne town as well as the medieval citie and not have ro worry about driving. This was the perfect location and so was the villa. We loved it. The hosts Silvie and Luc were always on hand if we needed them and could not have been more helpful

A wonderful stay and Sylvie is the perfect host. She was able to be flexible with our booking dates (even in August) and communicated well throughout our stay giving local recommendations for places to see and visit which were all excellent. A great sense of humour too which we all enjoyed! The house is beautifully presented, featuring original artwork and a lovely garden providing shade under trees and a balcony with views of the medieval city. Sylvie was incredibly helpful and gave lots of suggestions for things we could do whilst staying in Carcassonne. The property is immaculate and beautifully styled. If you are just visiting Carcassonne don’t bother hiring a car, as a taxi from the airport is easy and everything is within walking distance. The old city and the new city have lots of wonderful things to see and do. We thoroughly recommend spending some time relaxing by the river, it’s only knee depth and perfect for cooling down. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We had the most wonderful stay in this lovely property. The house was very comfortable and clean. Sylvie was an excellent host and gave us many recommendations for places to eat and visit in the town. The location of the property was perfect for us - it was quiet but only a 10 minute walk each way to the old town and to the medieval city. It was close to the river where there is a nice walkway along the river bank where the new leisure centre can be found. We would certainly return to this property if we come back to Carcassonne.

We spent a week staying in this house in June 2022. It is an absolutely beautiful property - a lovely house, immaculately clean, furnished and decorated with exquisite taste, and very comfortable in every respect. We were there during a heat wave and it was wonderful to come home after exploring Carcassonne and surrounds, to a cool house with marble floors and air conditioning. There is also a very pretty garden and shady outdoor dining area to relax in. The property is perfectly located near the Aude river, and just a short walk from the main town centre (the Bastide), the Canal du Midi, the train station, and the medieval walled city. At the same time, it is very quiet and safe. Sylvie, the host, is absolutely lovely and was the perfect host in every way. All in all, an absolutely brilliant house - we loved staying here and very much recommend it to others.

What a lovely house with a spacious pretty garden. Everything was sparkling clean. This is light, airy, beautifully styled property and was a delight to stay in. From the garden and the balcony there are amazing views of Carcassonne castle. The beds were very comfortable and the shower, bathroom and kitchen were all excellent. This house is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre, a 5minute walk to the river, and a10 minute walk to a superb refubrished Leisure centre with fantastic swimming pools, gym and spa. We 100% recommend this VRBO stay as it excelled our expectations. Thank you Sylvie.

Cachée derrière un jardin ombragé, une maison décorée avec goût par la propriétaire très accueillante et à votre écoute, avec vue sur la cité historique de Carcassonne à 15mn à pied. Idéale pour découvrir les charmes de l'Aude et se reposer au calme et au frais.

Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire qui sait rester très discrète mais disponible. Elle a su nous donner quelques idées de visites. Maison très fonctionnelle et propre avec une décoration agréable. Nous avons apprécié les tomates "du jardin" offertes. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement.
