Beautiful property; great communication; amazing view; and perfect location.

Well stocked. Comfortable beds. Terrific location with beautiful view. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful property with great views over the lake. There are decks with perfect views on both lower levels and with the high windows the loft level also has great views. The home is nicely decorated. The property had a couple issues which did not affect our stay but were assured they would be promptly resolved and the host recognized the inconvenience. The beds were comfortable and the unit well equipped. The kitchen functioned well with a large frig. The home had two coolers for guest use which was great when we took a fall cruise on the lake. One note, the driveway is quite steep and a bit of a hairpin turn as you come up the hill. But it is concrete with traction grooving so was not an issue, just exciting. It is Carolina mountains. Beautiful home is a great remote setting ideal for a family or friends gathering.

Beautiful location, home. Driveway and road were difficult, but manageable. Beautiful view. Hot tub was very nice! Highly recommend.

Very beautiful property but very rural with no cell service. Welcome letter information was not accurate with wi-fi log in. Worked fine once we figured it out ourselves. Home phone did not work for local calls unless there was a trick to that that we weren't told also.

Getaway
Great place. We had so much fun and a relaxing time. The veiw was awesome and so was the weather. Be sure to pack your groceries cause once you get there you don't want to leave.

The cabin was great, easy to check in, very clean, and had everything in the kitchen we needed. The hot tub was perfect, and the view is gorgeous! It was a little noisy when a wedding was happening next door, and the driveway is very steep, but other than that, it was a beautiful place and gppd location.

I rented this beautiful house for family to stay at for my son's wedding. It was in walking distance to the venue! The house was beautiful, but the outdoor space was amazing with gorgeous views of the lake. All of my family loved staying there. We would definitely stay again.

My family of 4 had an amazing time in this cabin, with amazing views from every floor!! It was well stocked and spotless when we arrived. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable with high-end linens. We ran into one minor issue with the ice maker and the maintenance company brought us bagged ice within 1 hour on a Sunday morning. Outstanding service!! I will say, if traveling from Franklin, the last 30 minutes of driving is on very windy roads. But the road to NOC/Bryson City was much easier to travel and you follow the Nantahala river most of the way which makes for beautiful scenery and several waterfalls! The hot tub was also very clean and we enjoyed looking over the lake while relaxing in it -- it even snowed on our last day which was fun in the hot tub! We would not hesitate to rent here again next time we are in the area!

First, grab your grub at the grocery stores (Andrews or Franklin) so you don't have to leave later. There is a steep driveway, but it's fairly short. I drove (Sequoia) straight up the gravel part, then backed up the paved part right to the door-- just 2 straight lines. You'll come in the bottom floor (2 Queen bedrooms, full bath, laundry area, trundle in game room with fireplace, doors to back and access to hot tub). You can go up inside or outside stairs to kitchen. Another Q bedroom and full bath, living and dining area, fireplace. Stairs up to loft King bed with 3rd full bath. The loft really is like another closed bedroom in that you can't see it hardly from the main room. TVs everywhere but you'll hardly need them. AMAZING view of the lake from the main room and loft. Kitchen is very well-stocked as well as bathrooms. Actually get more than 1 roll of TP! Also plenty of fluffy (not scruffy) towels! Rain-shower heads in all baths are perfect. Plan out your showers though, not an extra-large tank of water. I was third in a row and got about 2 minutes. Cell service is almost non-existent, but Wi-Fi fills in. Going around the hill to the East helps. First week of February was cold, but the house heat is amazing and evenly distributed (we turned it down to 67 and it was 19 outside). A bundle of wood was provided for the outdoor firepit, but it was too cold and breezy for us. All kitchen appliances work well and look newer. Very big dining table. Beds were comfortable and whole house looks clean and coordinated. (Not hobbled together, you know what I mean.) Plenty of space for family of 5 and everyone enjoyed the cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful get away! The view was magnificent and worth the mountain drive! We traveled as two families (4 adults and 2 12 year olds). There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and enjoy the cabin without getting in each other’s way. Central location for day trips to Smokey mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Cherokee and Asheville.,

This property is amazing! It's well maintained, clean, updated, spacious, and comfortable. The view of the lake is spectacular! The property manager responded quickly to all communications. We booked it because it is centrally located between two great parks with lots of hiking trail options that included waterfall destinations. Plus within an hour or two of several other towns that we wanted to check out such as Asheville, Bryson City, Maggie Valley, and Pigeon Forge, TN. Depending on what you are looking for the next few items may be pros or cons. The home is pretty isolated. There is one cabin just up the street, but otherwise, it's at least a 30-minute drive in either direction to get to a community with a grocery store. Also, there is no cell service at the cabin, but there is strong wifi. We would have to drive at least 15 to 20 minutes in either direction before we could get a couple of bars for cell service. The road to get to the cabin is paved, but narrow and very twisted. If coming from Franklin, there are a lot of hairpin curves. Coming from Murphy, it's curvy but fun. The cabin driveway is pretty steep, but not terrible. If visiting in the winter, you will need 4X4. Otherwise, will need a car with some height for clearance.

good view, nice new deck, clean hot tub, quiet spot, gas fireplaces both levels. convenient to marina, Joyce Kilmer, NOC, Franklin, Andrews. Easy to book. [ (Only negatives are steep curve driveway, blind exit from the left side of driveway, no mobile service. I cleaned up the grill for you; you may need to hookup the gutter downspout (behind hot tub) ]

We had an awesome 6 night stay in June. The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed- and a few bonuses. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels to go around- there were 3 adults and 5 kids. The kids had fun in the game room and loved the corn hole. We had smiles every night at the fire pit. The beds were all comfy and everyone slept well. The view from the deck is awesome. The hot tub was nice.
Totally enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. We hope to return next year!

We loved this house! All of the items you need, lots of towels, kitchen was nicely stocked everything was very clean. The decor was adorable and the master bed was so comfortable! The view was amazing, so peaceful and quiet. The only bad part was our GPS took us the long way around which was a very scary mountain road and it was dark and raining when we arrived. Someone else was stuck in a ditch by the cabin so we just parked at another house for the night and carried our stuff. Once the road dried we drove to the cabin. We noticed in the light of day that the GPS was way off and there was a much easier and safer route. The drive way is very steep and we were thankful for our all wheel drive SUV. But that was our fault, nothing bad at all about the cabin or owner, just a cautionary tail. We highly recommend this house.
