This property was perfect for a large family vacation! The house offered ample space for every guest. The amenities were bountiful and well planned. The home was absolutely beautiful!

Nice rooms, kitchen, location, hot tub. Good with the bear warning as a family did come through the yard. Vacuum was clogged but were able to fix.

Enjoyed the time with family. Everyone had their on roomw/bathrooms. So much fun playing pool and enjoying the a fire indoors and outside too! Blessings to you for everything! Hoping to come back next year!

This place is awesome! Host responded quickly when we had an issue with the heat. It turned out to be "operator error" by us! The bedrooms are very spacious. The fireplace was so nice. This place is everything advertised! Thanks to the host! We will stay here again.

Accommodations could not have been more perfect for our family of 10 adults and 2 children. The house was perfect for privacy when needed and family gatherings by the fireplace. The location was perfect for enjoying Ober Gailinburg Ski Resort and shopping/eating downtown. My family stated this was our best all-around trip thus far. King Bear can expect us again!

We vacationed with our friends for a total of 10 people including 5 adults and 5 kids.This house was more than enough for our group. The 4 bedrooms with each having a bathroom made this stay comfortable for everyone! Each room has a beautiful room and access to an outside area. The master is great as well. We were so happy to see that every room was well maintained and equipped with plenty of linens and paper products. The propane tank for the grill was out the very first night, after letting property owner know, he quickly brought a full tank without hesitation. He did this with fire wood as well. We had a bear encounter our first night, it was amazing and we hoped to see it again. The pool table and hot tub was fun for all. We cooked every meal and enjoyed all the kitchen cookware and appliances. I would definitely recommend this place as well as stay here again and again.

Wonderful girl's trip to enjoy Gatlinburg and the great Smoky Mountains enhanced by this lovely property. GREAT location making Gatlinburg very walkable. Ample space for all and comfortable beds. Wish to see bears was granted as walked up the hill from downtown! Only reason for 4* rating is lack of expected amenities in the bathrooms - Kleenex, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers (in all bathrooms), etc. Would highly recommend this property.

Our 2nd time staying here. We had 4 couples and there’s plenty of room for everyone. Everything is on one level, which is very convenient for my handicapped father. Perfect location, and we always love the bear visits!

We had 4 generations staying in this home and it was perfect for my father-in-law that has a walker. It was also perfect because it has a master bedroom on one side of the house which was used for our niece and her family, which included a 3 month old. The rest of the family stayed on the other side of the house allowing some quiet for the baby. Overall, this was one of the best properties we have stayed at and we will definitely be back!

We had our annual gathering of the tribe this year in Gatlinburg for a day at Dollywood. The home was perfect as our group includes a 95 year old and a disabled member. We had a great time and enjoyed visits by 3 bear cubs one day and one on another, so follow instructions about outdoor spaces and the trash because they definitely know where the hot spots are.

We stayed here for my son's 21st birthday with family and friends and had an amazing time. The home was perfect with the 5 bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. Loved the layout of the house. There are bears. Have we got funny/hilarious stories, yes!! So relaxing to just sit outside and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back and are planning for next September. The house has too many amenities to mention. Our stay was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This home was perfect for our family with plenty of room. The house location was so close to town it made it easy to get in and out. We noticed there was not very many pictures of the kitchen. Needless to say it was perfect! we played bingo every night in the kitchen!!! highly recommend this house. oh, do not feed the bears.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is perfect-just a short walk down the hill to downtown Gatlinburg so the teenagers could come and go as they pleased. The house was also accessible to my daughter who is in a wheelchair. We have stayed here 2 years and plan to come back next year. We love it!

This property is amazing. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the perfect weekend including plenty of firewood. The location was the best, probably less than a 2 min drive to the parkway in Gatlinburg or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (it is so close, you could walk). My husband and I stayed here with 4 other couples and the layout was perfect, each couple had their own “hotel like suites” and had plenty of space in the living and kitchen areas to be together. The parking was nice and level and fit all five of our trucks and suvs with plenty of space left. We have stayed at several cabins in Gatlinburg but this was by far our favorite. We will definitely stay here again.

Celebrated New Year’s Eve in front if the fireplace watching ball games, playing pool, and making memories. Could see the fireworks from the spacious living room. Accommodations can’t be beat!

Perfect setting for our extended family getaway! Close to the action but quietly nestled away from the crowds. Spacious and well-appointed bedrooms and every convenience needed for time away. The kitchen table was perfect for many rounds of cards with everyone! ❤️ Ranch style home was perfect for all! This was my second stay at this property and I’ll definitely be back! Stayed at King Bear cabin with 8 adults and two kids. The layout was well suited for our group. We enjoyed the big back yard, hot tub and regular bear visits! Communication with the owner was easy. Location was great- very close to town but with a mountainside and wooded setting. Would definitely stay there again!

Plenty of room inside and out for our group. Loved the backyard - great views, seating and fire pit. Enjoyed a few sightings of bears in the yard too!

By the end of our stay, we had settled in to the point our family felt like it was our own home away from home. This is our first time to Gatlinburg (from Texas) but definitely won’t be our last.
