Spent a week here and it went by so quick! House was amazing. Such a beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to stay -that was minutes away from a million fun things to do. One of my family's favorite vacations.

This property felt like home. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Fantastic area for the dogs to go potty. Our dogs enjoyed morning walks in the meadow as did we.
Property is about 30 minutes from the hustle of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg but the drive to either was easy. There’s plenty of things to see in Townsend and delicious restaurants and coffee shops.
We hope to come back again sometime soon.

Wonderful property. Great proximity to national park and local attractions, but far enough away to keep you out of traffic! Home was very well appointed with little extras like coffee/tea/condiments, books, games and toiletries. Great beds and furniture, clean and organized. The location, view and outdoor areas were spectacular. Again the little extras like charcoal, firewood made the difference. Pet friendly -all the decking and gazebo had gates so you could enjoy the outdoors with your pet contained in the same space. We will be booking again.

Needed a restful time between the holidays and Owl’s Hoot in Townsend was the perfect place. Very nice cabin and nicely decorated for Christmas. The view is very nice and peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in a good location, tucked away from a busy area, but close enough for a scenic drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of room for a group of people and very accommodating.

Fantastic property, very close to everything but seems like miles away. Cabin was super clean, well appointed and very comfortable. This will be my location of choice for future visits.

We loved our stay at the Owl's Hoot cabin! Myra and Rob were very easy to work with! The cabin was in excellent condition and the location was wonderful! We were convenient to everything but it was nice and quiet! We will definitely book again if we come back to the area!

The home was well maintained, nicely decorated, and stocked with all the amenities of home. The wrap around deck with the locked gates were great to let the dog walk around. The views of the meadow and creek were serene. So relaxing to only hear the sounds of nature! Two bears walked about the property on a daily basis. They did not act aggressively, but we were very cautious when outside.

We have traveled to the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area several times and this was our first time to stay in Townsend. It truly is the "peaceful side" of the Smoky Mountains. This chalet was perfect. Everything you need is provided and it was super clean. The chalet feels secluded yet close to everything we wanted to do. Only a 25-30 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and you drive through some pretty areas to get there.

The cabin was amazing! On two different occasions we saw a bear strolling through the meadow! The deck was a great place to sit in the early morning and evening to watch the wildlife. Great location and Myra and Rob are absolutely wonderful! We depend the entire last day of our stay at the cabin and both our daughters are looking forward to our next visit and have already requested that we stay here again!! 5 stars all the way!

Beautiful home and property, well maintained with lots of gorgeous outdoor seating. Townsend and the park are only a minute away yet the house is tucked away and secluded. Plentiful wildlife and plants to enjoy - a bear strolled by on the lawn while we were eating lunch on the back deck one day! Thankfully there are multiple gates in the back area to keep pets and kids safe.

Our family enjoyed this cabin so much! It is exactly as described. We were celebrating a grandson’s graduation and it was the perfect place to enjoy all that the area offers. Our little Scotty, Sadie, enjoyed running in the meadow. Thank you for a great, relaxing week.

Perfect location for easy access to the park. It was lovely sitting outside in the mornings listening to nature come awake. Would absolutely recommend staying here. Will definitely be back in the future!

We had a wonderful vacation at this cabin! It is so close to the great smoky mountain entrance. The cabin was clean and tidy with all of the amenities needed for a week long stay. The kitchen is stocked will all cooking supplies to cook meals as well. On our last day, we saw a black bear and her cubs in the meadow, so be cautious if you have dogs but WHAT A TREAT! I have never been more excited. We would recommend this cabin with five stars and the best part is they allowed our two dogs to join us on our stay.

This cabin was perfect for our spring break getaway! The beds were comfortable and the gated deck area was great for keeping our little dog contained while we enjoyed sitting outside. A huge highlight was seeing 5 black bears in the meadow from the back deck!

We all had a great experience at Owls hoot. Such a beautiful place. The owners were amazing and took care of us when the temperature dropped and made sure we had lots of wood for the fire place and electric heaters to stay warm. Thank you for everything. We loved our stay!

Very nice cabin in a beautiful spot. We had a wonderful time in spite of the rainy weather. The only problem was with the coffee maker which was not working properly, but that was a minor thing. This would be a great gathering place in the summer. I hope we can come back.

This adorable cabin/cottage was IMMACULATE! Also every design note was spot-on; just enough decor to make it charming and themed and not enough to make it cluttered, tacky or dusty. This place is truly a pleasure. Book more days then you think you need, because on some days you will want to just hang out here and enjoy the house and deck. Beautiful view out gigantic window facing deck and woods. Birds galore. I honestly cannot recommend this place or the hosts enough. I wanted to just move in and write a book, or stay there forever reading books and sipping tea. :)

We have been coming to that area for thirty plus years and have stayed in an unknown number of cabins, condos, and chalets and I will say that none of them can even come close to Owl’s Hoot chalet. It tops them all for comfort, cleanliness, convenience, hominess and so much more. We will be staying there on our next trip if available.

Home was very clean. One of the cleanest cabins we have stayed in. Had everything we needed. Very close to town. We did not have any issues, but I felt like if we did, the owners would have taken care of it quickly. Our small dog went with us and he loved exploring the meadow. Saw a mama bear and her cubs from the balcony. Very peaceful.

The cabin is beautiful and the location was perfect. The town of Townsend is quiet and delightful. We really enjoyed riding our bikes on the bike trails. We easily rode the bikes from the cabin to the trail. We also enjoyed practicing our golf swing in the greenway. Great place. Will stay again!

There have been a number of nice houses, but what stood out for this one was the little extras. Due to bad weather coming in, the host let us check in early. They included dishwasher pods, plenty of towels, coffee filters, little bags of vienna coffee (good local brand), fire wood, and more. The host was very responsive to questions. The house is easy walking distance to the main road through Townsend, and close to the only grocery store (IGA), restaurants, etc. They also included a local attractions notebook. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful Stay
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owl's Hoot. The chalet was beautiful. We appreciate the thought that went in to every detail of our stay, from the décor, the well stocked supplies to the gorgeous setting. There was even a special set up for our dog :) Beautiful area, we will definitely visit again.
