We had a really great time here! The water was very clear and the beach was clean. The house was perfect for our family of four. There was a lot of traffic noise, but we were expecting that. We would definitely like to come back!

The cottage and the location were awesome. We knew immediately that we wanted to return in 2025. The cottage is small (I would guess around 1100 sq. Feet) but the owners have made good use of the available space. It was perfect for us. It’s not fancy but it is a cottage. It could use a larger tv in the living room. The beach and bay were wonderful. East Bay is our favorite body of water. It is so clean and clear and has a hard sandy bottom. We didn’t even need water shoes. The view was fantastic!! We hope to come back every year! This place is a gem for sure!!

This little house is right at the south end of the beautiful East Arm of the Grand Traverse Bay and the view is amazing. The beach is picturesque and we had many duck visitors. We could even see the house from the fishing charter we booked nearby. Only thing to keep in mind was heavy traffic noise during morning rush hour from the busy Munson Avenue. Would stay here again!

We had the most wonderful stay at this home. We had the pleasure of staying next to Patty and Joe, who checked on us frequently and asked if we needed anything. This little home is absolutely perfect and right on the beach! It was very clean and welcoming. As others mentioned, you can hear the traffic on Front St. but we got used to it quickly and it did not bother my children. This was the best vacation we’ve had as a family, largely because of being able to stay in this beautiful home. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at this quaint beach house! Perfect for a summer trip up north. We enjoyed the lovely water and kayaked daily. Great location away from downtown, but easy to go in for dinners and coffee.

When we first arrived we had to do some cleaning. As warned in some reviews the house was on a very busy street and you could hear the traffic from inside so definitely needed a sound machine. Otherwise the location in proximity to everything was great, the view and being on the water was amazing, check in was easy, the host was prompt in responding prior to arrival. All in all I would stay here again.

We had 5 adults staying at the house, and we all had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size for us. We've been to Traverse City many times, but this was our first time staying along the water. The views were stunning. We enjoyed fires in the fire pit each night while listening to the waves. The location is so close to downtown as well. All in all, it was fantastic trip!

The house was perfect for our family of 4. We lounged on the porch, kayaked, swam in the lake, and had a happy hour with the neighbors. I would say the only negative was the very very busy street.

My family of 5 had a wonderful vacation at this home. It is small, but the owners have made very good use of the space and supplied many thoughtful touches to make the stay very comfortable. We will be back! Thank you, Patty and Joe!!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely waterfront property! The property is on a busy road but still felt like a retreat behind the property fence, with the stunning view of the bay. Perfect end to each day of activities to just sit on the deck, and watch and listen to the waves hitting the beach.

Great little house right on the bay. Was a perfect spot for my family if 3, but plenty of room for a bigger family. Close to downtown traverse city. My kiddo loves the little beach and the neighbors were friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

Charming cottage. Amazing views. Located on a busy road, but the house was set back and as it turns out, very centrally located for Traverse City and going toward Torch Lake.

Perfect location, very clean, right on the beach. What more needs to be said? And a special shout out to the cleaner. We arrived slightly early and she was not quite finished. Unnecessarily apologetic (we were early, she was not late) she cheerfully hustled to complete her tasks, and left us with the cleanest rental we have ever been in. Thank you!

Great location on the Bay. The Beach front was fabulous. The house was perfect inside. The deck was great for all of our outdoor grilling. Enjoyed our time tremendously. Will look to stay again.

Loved this house! Perfect location. Right on the beach with a nice grassy area too. All the space you need with everything you need! Almost hate to leave a great review so I can rent it again w/o completion (lol).

The only suggestion for improvement would be that the deck needs some repair work, spongy in places. Also a small step stool would help in the laundry area. It was impossible to read the dryer settings.
We did bring a couple of fans to use in the bedrooms. Also a couple of large garbage bags (there were kitchen garbage bags provided), our own laundry soap, shampoo and body wash. Everything else was available in the home.
I would rebook this property in the future.

Very nice location, well stocked kitchen. The property was very clean and well taken care of. The views on the lake were amazing. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a spot up in Traverse City and my kids are already asking when we can come stay there again!
