We enjoyed our time at St. Simon’s. The cottage was perfect for our family. The only difficulty we had was It was frustrating many things were not open due to low season. The restaurants don’t take reservations which was a pain since we had 7 people.

Water Lily Cottage is a great place to stay to enjoy St. Simons Island. It's close to the beach, close to the beautiful salt marshes, close to restaurants and shops. It has lots of space and very well equipped. The management company (Lilmar) is responsive and helpful.

We were all comfortable with each bedroom, living area and decks. Kitchen was better equipped than any home lease we have used. Oven so clean, I hesitated to use. Towels were so fluffy & soft! Beach supplies were also made available.

The beds and pillows were comfortable which is rare. Location great. Appreciated the effort to build a house like our great grandfather’s beach house. Nostalgia. One arm chair slightly broken. Someone had tried to glue it. Not a problem though. RM RM

The 4 of us (all seniors) had a wonderful time. We get together annually and this was the perfect spot!

Fabulous property exactly as depicted in the photos. The pool and access to the beach are great. It’s a drive to anywhere else but the house is so comfortable we were just happy to enjoy the comforts and relax!

Excellent stay. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well appointed. Short walk to the beach. Property management was responsive when a minor incident occurred during our stay (unrelated to the home). Would definitely stay at this property again.

This house provided the perfect home away from home for our family of 6 during our St. Simons Island vacation! The house was extremely clean and was equipped with everything we needed for the week. We ate several meals at the cottage and the kitchen was stocked with all the basics and many additional items you would not necessarily think of a rental property having, but were very useful! The house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (NOT over the top “beach house” themed like many properties seem to do and can be quite tacky). Not having to pack beach towels and chairs was great as these were also provided by the property. The location is a short walk to the pools and then beyond to the beach, so easy to go back and forth without having to drag a ton of sand into a vehicle!! The management company was very responsive and quick to answer any questions and make sure we had everything we needed for an exceptional stay. We definitely plan on returning to St. Simons and would stay at the Water Lily Cottage again for sure!!

Great house in a great location. Quick 5 min walk to the pool and beach, which was great with 3 little ones. Rooms are a good size and clean. Only thing i can say negatively is the parking spots are small, as we couldn't fit 2 big suvs in the spots, so i had to park across the street. Overall great place

House was just as described. In a quiet, safe location. All the amenities were included. Only suggestion would be for the third floor porch to be on the other side so you could see the ocean.

This property is gorgeous! Adam and his team did a really amazing job with attention to detail in labeling all of the house functions (light switches/fans/kitchen drawers, etc..) The decor is beautiful, and the house felt 'brand new'.The seating very comfortable! Beds too were really great. The luxury towels and linens much appreciated. We loved the cottage community, heated pool and private access to the beach. Very special spot with no crazy crowds on Spring Break. 5 star rating, and highly recommend this house as it was very spacious and just perfect!

Great location

The house was lovely - very clean, well equipped, in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk to the beach. This house has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped - we found the beach gear and the pool towels very useful (as visitors from the UK it is not easy to bring these things ourselves). We also really enjoyed using the swimming pools and the facilities there were good and clean. We would love to come back and stay another time :)

The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to restaurants. The house was clean and the perfect size for my family of seven. Management was quick to respond if we needed anything.

We enjoyed our stay and found Water Lily Cottage to be as shown and described online. It was clean and comfortable and we loved that it was a quick walk to the pool and beach entrance.

Ours was a quick beach trip, but we found the cottage to be everything we needed. We only wish we had more time.

Lovely cottage, wonderful comfortable living area and comfy porch chairs-such a pleasant space for morning coffee, super comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen. Short walk to the beach, and the great pool area! We had a wonderful time and made great memories!

We had a lovely time here. The place was clean, airy, and comfortable with easy beach access. We all exclaimed about how well we slept on the beds with soft and luxurious linens. The set up was perfect for long talks on the porch in the morning and hanging out in the living area at night. The view from the porches isn't all that scenic as it consists of a road, power lines and marsh -- however, the breeze is cooling, the padded wicker chairs are comfy, and it's a short walk to the beach! We made good use of the beach wagon, 3 beach chairs and beach umbrella that were stored under the house. There are a lot of stairs going into the house and in the house so if you have someone with limited mobility, this house isn't for you. What a lovely time we had!

A lovely home with all the amenities in a beautiful beachside area. We had a wonderful time!!! My only suggestion would be to add rug pads under the small area rugs as they are slipping hazards without them.
