Our host spoke serviceable English and all the comments referring to him are true. The small restaurant at the guest house has outstanding regional cuisine cooked by the host (Tony) and his wife. The meals prepared and served would be worth a visit even if you were not staying overnight. The lamb dish (24 hrs advance notice) was superior to any lamb dish that we enjoyed in a 6 month stay in Turkey. Menu prices are reasonable, and if in doubt- ask Tony for his recommendation. Room rates are very reasonable. The rooms themselves are large and pleasant, the beds very firm, the balcony views are wonderful. Parking is provided. There are many nooks and crannies throughout the property where you can spend hours in shady quiet. The location is up a long winding road up in the hill about 5km from Stara Zagora in a tiny village. You can trust Google Maps this time at least. Tony also has an eclectic taste in music. He sports a Metallica T-shirt, the music in the outdoor dining is a curious blend of of 60-90's American music standads. Listening to it makes you wonder. I was impressed enough to leave Tony with a USB stick of EDIM/70's Disco from the Fire Island treasure trove of 70's music just re-discovered.. Just an extremely pleasent place to be for 2 days. All the positive revies are absolutely true. Remember if you visit Stara Zagora- it's worth a visit just for the food and ambience.

Close to Heaven . There wasn't anything to dislike . This was one of our best stays in a 3 month visit to Bulgaria

The hotel is beautfuI and our room was big, clean and modern. The bed was so comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was delicious. Its a great location to relax and enjoy nature. I wish we would have stayed longer. I will definitely come back.

The best place we’ve discovered so far. We were welcomed warmly from the very start and were made to feel comfortable and at home during our entire stay. The manager is a lovely person! The hotel is in a great, quiet spot. I didn’t even want to go to the festival I was going to because of how pleasant the accommodation was! The rooms are clean, you have everything you need there, and the view was stunning! The restaurant is lovely, the prices are good, and I’ll be dreaming about that salad dressing for months.. We will definitely be coming back more than once!

The only con was the lack of good mobile reception, but that’s subjective. We loved the chance to have a truly relaxing experience without distractions, and there’s good WiFi anyway.

The room was newly built and very clean. The owner/operator was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was very quiet—there was a wedding party in the reception one night and when our balcony door was shut it was totally quiet in the room. Overall, it was a nice stay for the price.

Very clean and quiet. The manager was very friendly and nice. Food was great. Rooms are modern and equipped with coffee and tea. Decent parking for 7 cars in front. Low cars shouldn’t have an issue getting there as long as they stick to the main road.

Parts of the continental breakfast were a bit disappointing when compared to the food from the menu. No A/C in the rooms, but it’s cool at night so opening a window is enough to stay cool. Waze routed us through a gypsy neighbourhood, but there is a main road that connects to the city.

Stayed there 1 night in transit. Country side small hotel / pension, quiet location, clear air, nice rooms with complete facilities, nice host. Good food at the restaurant.

Food at the restaurant is qood and tasty, but the menu is small and the main variety is on pork meat dishes. I would have appreciated similar variety on chicken and fish. Or on salads, as on Bulgarian restaurants I usually find a lot of creativity in salads - here I only found just one interesting salad. But for 1-2 meals this "small menu" is quite OK.
