Convenient location & great views of the harbor & Lake Superior - walk to the quaint small town for food, ice cream, local museums, charming art gallery - Sandy beaches nearby - great rock hunting ! The property is roomy, the house is comfy, clean & private - we would return

We had a great stay. Charming cabin up in the woods with a great view. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Wifi would have been helpful for checking in on work as most places in town weren’t reliable for wifi or open the right hours.

Beautiful place to just relax and look at the lake

Each year our family chooses a different place in Michigan to visit & explore. This year we chose Grand Marais as a central point & then drive to different points of interest. This property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the view from the deck overlooking Grand Marais, relaxed by a bonfire each night & the overall comfort of the home. The property owner was very easy to work with & offered several suggestions & recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely like to return!

Kim is an awesome host -- this home has everything you need and she is always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The home is two-minutes from Grand Marais shops/restaurants and sits atop a bluff in a secluded spot. We had a great time.

Very clean, well kept collage with great view of the bay. Lots of deer in the yard. Easy to go down the hill to town. Lots of room for parking trailers for snowmobiling.

A picturesque vacation for the whole family. Wonderful property and host. Clean, comfortable, and private with lots of room. Tucked away from everything yet still close to amenities and a few restaurants/food trucks. Cannot recommend enough. We hope to be back, soon!

I rented this house for 2 couples and our family dog on a working vacation with my husband and his parents. The view and location around Grand Marais is absolutely wonderful! Would visit again. Communication with Kim is efficient and she was quick to answer questions I had before and after arrival. Thank you for the great week away!

Kim’s cabin was very comfortable with all the necessities!! She also provided lots of good suggestions for things to do, etc. The view from the back porch was a great way to begin and end your day!

Beautiful property amazing views.

Kim's home was the ideal place to stay for our UP vacation. The house has everything you need ~ a fully stocked kitchen, great deck, BBQ pit for evening s'mores, and so much more. The best of all was the incredible view of the Grand Marais bay and Lake Michigan! Kim checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to return!

This was a great place to stay. We loved the little town of Grand Marais. The view of the water from the kitchen and back deck was amazing. Some updates are needed, but the host is great to work with and very knowledgeable about the UP. We were close to Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks and wonderful hiking trails. We made some beautiful memories!

Had a fantastic stay! The house was great. The view was fabulous. Kim was extremely helpful and prompt answering our questions. Highly recommend for a 3 generation stay. Loved it!

This house was amazing! Very bright and airy, wonderful views of the lake. It was perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen is well equipped and very spacious, and the living area and mud room were fantastic. Grand Marais is such a cute tourist-y town, full of friendly people. Driving to Pictured Rocks area was about an hour, so be ready for that. We spent our time relaxing, hiking, pontooning (Seaberg rentals was great!) You have to stop at the Sherpa Shack (ice cream to DIE for!) and the food & service at Lake Superior Brewing company was awesome! We'd love to come back again some day!

Unbelievable view, fantastic accommodations, all around a great stay, close to trails and to town

Excellent communication with hostess. Kim went above and beyond letting us know of events in surrounding areas, heads up on weather and even arranged assistance when I got stuck in the snow!! Wonderful views of Lake Superior. Very clean. More than ample parking/turn around for trailers. Plenty of beds. Lots of books and blankets to curl up with.

Great location, very close to snowmobile trails and town for food/gas. House was very clean and awesome view of the lake.

Great place and view

We stayed 3 nights, had a group of 8 of us, we enjoyed our time at the house . We brought a few air mattresses so that we all had our own beds but there was plenty of space. Proximity to town and snowmobile trail was easy, would definitely book again. View of the bay was awesome.

Clean and quiet house with a beautiful view! We could not have asked for anything more for a quiet getaway. Kim was so easy to work with and very helpful. We are already thinking about our next trip up to Grand Marais.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful home with our dogs. The property is extremely well maintained and very spacious and the views of the Harbor and Lake Superior are simply magnificent! We will stay here again and look forward to our return.

Kim promptly communicated with us whenever we needed anything, helped us navigate what we would want to pickup before arriving, and made our stay wonderful. Thanks for everything! Our family enjoyed the beautiful lake view and the lovely vacation home provided for a week of hiking, fishing, and exploring. Owner was very helpful as a guide, and the home was perfect for our needs for a family of six.

Awesome rental and location

What a wonderful location! The views from the back of the house were amazing. The pictures do the place justice and give you a good feel for how the house is setup. The location was quiet and felt secluded even though there were houses just on the other sides of the hedge rows. Even on warm days, the house cooled down quickly after dark and the windows were perfectly situated to catch any available breeze. The one thing that was a bit misleading from the way VRBO sets up the posting was access to Wi-Fi - there is none - so be prepared to use your personal phone as a hotspot and hope that it works. With all the tourists up for July 4th and after, even cell signal was slow so we were mostly disconnected from most apps on the internet. Calls, texts, and email would go through from the upstairs but everything else was too slow and would time out. The host graciously gave us a password for Wi-Fi in town so we were able to connect when absolutely needed - but we wouldn't have brought some of our tech had we known there was no wi-fi at the house. (This was the reason for the 4 of 5 stars on the accuracy of the listing.)Otherwise, a great place to stay and was a good place to have as basecamp as we explored the Pictured Rocks / Eastern UP area.
