The Red Door House was a great property and fit perfectly with what we needed on our first to Lakeland. Edgar was welcoming, and willing to answer any questions we had. The neighborhood was charming, great access to anything you might need, very walkable. The house was quiet and had everything we needed. We will not hesitate to stay again next time we are in town!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and decorated cute. It was in a good location and easy to find. The owner had great communication, he checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was perfect for me and my husband. We will definitely book again when we are in town.

Came to Lakeland for a convention at the RP Funding Center, this place was perfectly located, was extremely comfortable, and had everything I needed for my trip. Location is close to everything you’d need and accommodations were great. Host responds to messages right away.

This place was perfect for us, everything from cleanliness to location, we couldnt have asked for a better stay. Communcation between myself and owners was top notch, they were very responsive and accomodating. We will be back!

Nice small place to stay while dropping off a college student. Is off the main road but no issues getting in or out of driveway. Love that there was a washer and dryer on site with 2 Tide pods available to use if need which we did because something leaked during our travel.

This was a wonderful stay for us. After exhibiting all day at Sun-N-Fun airshow, this was a perfect retreat to let us close out the day and get ready for the next.

This was a great little space for 2. We stayed the week and loved the location and open floor plan. Our only reason for giving it a 4/5 is that the bathroom needs an update. Owner was very responsive to questions we had throughout our stay!

Great place to stay, can walk to GOOD local restaurants and nice neighborhoods. Great if you are a Frank Lloyd Wright fan.

The house is in need of an upgrade bath room sink facet is not secured to the sink. The kitchen cabinet door is missing a hinge. The electric socket is not screwed into the wall. The listing says there is a futon. No futon. The living room has 2 uncomfortable chairs. There is no can opener. The microwave is so high. You need to be over 5 foot 5 inches to use it. There was no information about the wifi in the house. I had to call the host to get the password. I was unable to reach VRBO. When I texted them I got a message that they could communicate with my phone number
My spouse couldn’t reach them either. I found the stay depressing and dark. Extremely poor workmanship in the building

Can't say enough about this rental location! Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Truly walking distance to everything you could want, and this from a 70 year old not in great shape. In middle of 4 lakes/ parks. Half mile walk from downtown. Edgar was on top of our every need, even 2 new living room chairs. 1 BR/1bath. Very comfortable and roomy for my wife and I. Classic craftsman houses were all around the neighborhood. We had a great time and were extremely satisfied.

I grew up in Lakeland and was very familiar with the area. Have always loved the look of the bungalow style homes. This one has been subdivided into guest apartments and updated nicely. I’d suggest a new sofa for the living room as the futon is not very comfortable. Otherwise a very nice place. Host was very accommodating and helpful.

I love downtown Lakeland and all the pots in between. This i the prefect spot for that. I will definitely be staying again.

This property was close to Florida Southern College and the downtown Lakeland area. We were able to walk everywhere (including around Lake Morton and Lake Hollingsworth). Bed was comfortable and the towels were wonderful! We had a great stay!

Amazing & Accurate
The pictures are very accurate. This place is beautiful and spacious. The host was great and I would easily go back. Location and neighborhood is good and close to downtown

Great location
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood close to Southern Florida College and the lake. We brought our bikes and could ride everywhere. The house is small but comfortable for two - very clean and with everything you need.

The only other issue is that the Formica kitchen counter has been patched and some edges are sharp. I little clean up of the edges would be nice.
