loved the interior design of the room, the amazing bed, so comfortable! right in the middle of town, so handy for browsing around Kenmare day and night. Wonderful breakfast also, couldn’t fault it!

The sensor light in the room lobby was a disaster in the night. Very bright, switched on each time you walked between the bathroom and the bedroom, and with no door between. This needs to be seriously rethought. Room was sparsely furnished almost to the point of being unwelcoming. No comfy chair to sit on though the room even though the room is large. There was bright light from the street which was not blocked by the blinds. The duvet was winter weight in the summer: I went to the car at 2am and collected my camping blanket to sleep under. Staff were in a hurry.

Great location - right on the main drag. Room was just lovely - fresh decor, quality fixtures and very tastefully done. Little cakes left in the room as a welcome gift and lovely locally made hand-made soaps were a nice touch. This was the best accommodation of our 6 night excursion around the SW of Ireland. Top notch. Excellent breakfast and good choice - corned beef hash for breakfast was a first for me! Yum. We paid a bit more for Lagom compared to many of the local alternatives but I reckon it was money well spent and would do the same again without hesitation. Well done to the owners, good job!

The location was great the breakfast was delicious in the room had the best cozy bed.

Lagum is a small restaurant with lovely bedrooms above - our dinner was truly super - modern Irish Cuisine with local produce. Good sized and very well appointed bedrooms - huge bed" great showers and lots of lovely touches such as the little squares of soap - the local pottery mugs - a coffee machine in the room and a a couple of mouth wateringly delicious chocolates.

We were bike touring and the hotel could offer no safe space for storing our bikes - fortunately there was a reasonably safe space in the alley behind the hotel which one of the kitchen lads pointed us to but it would have been good if we had had that reassurance before arriving when we were in communication with the owner. The breakfast wows disappointing and in no way met the the standard of the evening meal.
