What a great place to spend quality time with adult children and grandchildren! This home was perfectly laid out with plenty of space in the four (out of five) bedrooms we occupied. Great proximity to the beach and downtown, we have nothing but rave reviews for process and property!

The place was clean and just as we expected from the photos. We would def stay there again!

We stayed at this wonderful home for a mother-daughter trip for 9 of us and it was perfect. Communication with Jackie was hands-down the best I've had in all of my experiences with VRBO and the home was even better than described. She has thought of everything to make the stay perfect. Short walk to the beach and short drive to the downtown area. We hope to be back again!

Great house, fun area

Even before our arrival Jackie answered all my questions about pickle-ball courts. The house was located right across the street from the beach and close to some yummy restaurants. Only a few minutes from downtown Amelia Island. It had all the essentials, we cooked breakfast, made drinks and cooked dinner several times! The beds were very comfy and the house was very very clean!! Book it you won’t regret it!

We have a group of College ladies who've been doing a girls weekend for 30 years. Missed last couple of Covid years and this was an amazing one to return the tradition. Jackie's home is better than the pics. Very clean, organized, and appointed with everything needed. We had some contact with them and questions. They were so quick to respond and came over to resolve asap. Location is great just across from beach and easy access to the Downtown of Fernadina Beach. We rented bikes at Main Beach, biked trails, relaxed in the wonderful home with living spaces both upstairs and down to enjoy. Amazing sunset views out back. Can't recommend more. Well done !

Great place to stay on the island. Short walk to the beach, all local facilities easily reached within a short drive. Everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. Good for separating (top floor/bottom floor) the older members of the family from the those who liked to enjoy the night life!

We rented a "A Slice of Heaven" for our family that was attending a wedding on Amelia Island and we loved it! It was "spotless", beautifully decorated and furnished with everything that we needed. The location was also great for the beach and the downtown area with all the shops and restaurants. The owners, as well as Marty, the property manager, were very nice and accommodating. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

A Slice of Heaven couldn’t be more appropriately named! Our stay was most comfortable and everything conveniently located … particularly sunrise. When you can grab your coffee and within three minutes be watching the sunrise with you toes in the sand, isn’t it Heaven? The convenience to the beach is the best and a close second is the proximity to Downtown Fernandina Beach with its plethora of great shops and delicious restaurants. Finally, Slice of Heaven is decorated to be comfortable and cozy. Everything you will need is at your fingertips from a rain shower in the master bath to a delicious down filled couch on which to watch your favorite show … or take a sweet nap! We couldn’t be happier with our stay and we would recommend A Slice of Heaven to anyone wanting to take a break from reality. To the Marshalls - you’re great hosts! Thank you so much!!!

This was our first visit to Amelia Island. The property was in a great location, just a few steps from the beach and minutes away from the historic downtown area. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the large kitchen, ping pong table and morning coffee while watching waves roll in. This truly was a 'slice of heaven' and we can't wait to visit again!

I have nothing but rave reviews for this beach house rental. It was the perfect location, the house was clean and fully stocked, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We woke up at 6AM every morning to watch the sunset on the beach with our coffee, rented bikes and biked into downtown for brunch, my husband fished everyday, and we made so many memories! We will definitely be back soon! The owners thought of everything. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Great place to stay for nice and quite, easy beach access just minutes away from the nicest restaurants around. Plenty of room for parking and enjoying a nice get away to the beach really enjoyed our selves.

Excellent property , comfortable and conveniently located ! The beach is across the street and the historical downtown is just a short drive away. Both the owner and the manager were communicative and extremely helpful.

Just spent four days in this home, and it was fantastic! Everything about the accommodations exceeded our expectations- the cleanliness of the house and property, the convenient location to the beach access, and the attentiveness of the owners to all the details that made us feel special and welcome. Visited Fernandina/Amelia Island for the first time and loved it. I found this listing on a whim trying to find a vacation property after last minute decisions to take a quick trip. We got lucky and truly enjoyed our experience from booking to exit. After booking, the owners reached out to connect and answer any questions I had. We touched base before the trip and the day of the owners made sure we received our check-in info. We met the property manager upon arrival he was friendly and offered to assist in any way while we were there. The home is beautiful! Felt like home away from home and every detail and accommodation was well thought out. We arrived with a welcome bag on the island with a few essentials and a welcome card. We were literally less than a minute away from the beach. A quick stroll across the street and you’re there. You have views of the ocean directly across and to the right of the property. We brought our own chairs and beach gear but they have it if you need it. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall for a great experience. -Bruce and Simmons family.

This is a great house! Newly updated, very clean, great layout and attentive owners. Convenient location directly across the street from the beach. Plenty of room including a flex space on ground level. Highly recommend!
