We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful beach home. The location is perfect and is only steps from the beach. The house itself had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be renting it again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Pelican Point. The house was clean and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. The kids enjoyed the swing and all the sand toys. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings.The host responded quickly to all my questions.

This property was perfect for our vacation. The location is about 20 minutes south of downtown Galveston, but so worth it when you walk onto the deck and have the ocean steps away. The house is clean, pretty updated and spacious. Having two masters with two full baths was very useful, and the secondary bedrooms can sleep quite a few people if needed. Our group voted and, hands down, the main master has the most comfortable bed. There is also a ton of space for dining/sitting. We would definitely stay here again.

4 adults, 2 kids, and an infant stayed in this lovely home. It was a perfect fit and right on the beach! Tip: There is a room full of beach toys, chairs, and gear that other guests have left so definitely check it out before buying new stuff. As other reviewers have mentioned the king bed is extremely (overly) soft. Also, the twin beds room as no windows. But this was perfect for the baby's pack-n-play sleep set up.

Very comfortable place. Lots of room to spread out and also to be together. Great porch area. Great correspondence with property owner. Would rent again.

We loved our sister weekend stay in this wonderful beachfront property. It was at once welcoming with its sunfilled rooms and comfortable furnishings not to mentions its French doors opening to a deck with unobstructed views of the gulf. It appeared newly renovated with high end appliances and all the amenities you’d ever want. The beds were comfortable with lots of sleeping options given the 4 bedrooms and the location just minutes to downtown was ideal! Eric was very easy to reach and he was quick ti respond to our requests. We definitely recommend staying here and hope to return ourselves some day.

We were very pleased with the house and the beautiful view from the deck. The beach was in our back yard! Everything was smooth sailing from booking the house, contacting the host (who replied very quickly) to checking in and out....and everything in between! We were sad to go. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice quiet, relaxing vacation.

There were a couple things may need your attention for next family. the sheets upstairs kept coming off corners, and the oven didn't work. Could have been caused by storm the night before. And couldn't get tv to work upstairs but other than those things it was good , had everything else we needed. Thank you ! Kathy Lee

What a beautiful property and access to the beach! The property was so well stocked and comfortable for our needs! We had a great time!

There were 6 of us ladies staying at this house for a week long birthday celebration, ranging in age from 39-74. The house provided more than enough room for the 6 of us to be in there comfortably. The 2 dining tables proved to be very useful. We had games on one table, and we dined at the other. The kitchen was more than adequate. We used it daily to prepare dinners. The only thing we couldn't find was a can-opener. There were a few other small items we could nit-pick, but none of them really matter, and they aren't any reason to lower my review from a 5 star. Right now we'd all rather be on the deck in one of those comfortable Adirondack chairs, listening to the waves roll in and watching the gulls skimming the waves of our private beach. It was magical. And in the words of another one of the Ladies who stayed, here is her review, "The beach house was delightful! Tastefully decorated inside, understated which made the house feel large and roomy even with 6 adult women! The two dining room tables came in handy for crafts, games, puzzles and dining. My favorite spot was the deck with comfy chairs and view of the magnificent sunrises. Having the beach right off our deck was amazing. We could sit and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tides. I would recommend this beach house to my friends and family." Thank you for the beautiful memories!

Stayed here with three friends; had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The home is delightful and slightly quirky which added to its charm. Can’t beat the outside area. Large patios enhanced the experience. Great location on the beach. Would consider renting again.

We had a party of 8 and one dog. Plenty of room for everyone. As with any beach house there was only a couple glitches. One was that one of two ceiling fans in the living room didn't work an d the other was that the Keurig didn't work. That was the worst since we were all coffee drinkers and brought our pods. There was another coffeemaker there so we just had to buy grinds. No big deal. But the location and views are great. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. No mosquitoes either when sitting on the deck. It was awesome. The owner was responsive to all our questions and concerns.

This property was truly heaven. Sitting just steps from the sand, the house was charmingly decorated with a true beach vibe. An expansive gated deck with an overhang that provided a perfect shaded area (because it was super hot) and great for us and our labrador, welcomed us with an abundance of adirondak chairs and it was our favorite aspect of the home. It gave us a spectacular view of the ocean and we sat out there most all of our time and enjoyed it immensely. When we hung out on the beach and took walks, it was a lovely, well-maintained non-busy stretch of sand. The house was extremely clean upon arrival, and although we did not use the kitchen, it was fully stocked and ready for use. The bedrooms were well-appointed and although there were only two of us, there were enough comfy beds to accommodate a larger family or group. The tiled bathrooms were lovely and the showers had good water pressure. Under the deck, we enjoyed lounging in the hammock, and coming in from the beach, we appreciated the outdoor shower. We had stayed in/rented a few homes in Galveston during the initial year of the pandemic, and I would say this one far outweighed any of the ones we had rented previous. It was just so nice, comfortable, and right on the beach. Additionally, from the time we booked until check out, the host, Eric, was highly communicative when we emailed or texted with a few questions, willing to make our stay the best. We really appreciated his kindness. We can not thank him enough for a wonderful short midweek stay, and can't wait to visit again when we can have a longer stay at this really neat beachhouse.

The home was perfect for our group of 10. We appreciated both dining tables! We were short on rags and the owner was quick to send someone over with more. Also, the oven wasn’t working (took two hours to preheat and would only go to 300 degrees) and the owner was quick again to send someone over with a toaster oven. The stove is very slow to work as well. Also, if you are with a large group and staying longer than 2 nights, bring toilet paper and paper towels. The location and access to the beach couldn’t have been better. Like 10 steps to the sand. They have plenty of beach toys and chairs. The ceiling in the living room appeared to have a good bit of water damage. Overall the place felt very clean for a dog friendly home! You wouldn’t know other dogs have been there.

the property owner is very responsive and easy to reach. The location is great as it is beach front and very convenient to Walmart (10 minutes away). The cons of the place is that it is much older than it looks in photos. The place is pretty rusted up and needs a major paint job exterior/interior. Upstairs shower door doesn’t close all the way so water leaks out. The dryer is on the older side so takes two cycles to dry stuff. My family and I still overall enjoyed our stay. But don’t expect a 5 star modern house if you’re booking here

We loved our stay. We enjoyed the quietness of a home, yet right on the gulf. We sat outside past midnight to listen to the crashing waves. (We are landlocked/water people) Home was squeaking clean. We had everything we needed.. Owner was awesome, and quick responding. Excellent wifi. We will 100% book with the owner again. Highly recommend.

A group of ladies and I enjoyed a long weekend at this amazing house in May 2022. The location is perfect- right on the beach with views from most windows and a large patio to enjoy the sound of the waves. Drive time into Galveston for activities was just a few minutes, and there is even a restaurant within walking distance just down the beach. The house itself was great for our group. Four bedrooms, two on each floor with plenty of comfortable and clean beds. A clean, full bath on each floor with plenty of towels. The living and eating spaces are joined so seating was never an issue. And the kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you need to prepare a meal. There were even spices and other useful items left behind by previous guests, which was nice. The host was incredibly responsive and informative. Overall, this was one of the best VRBO rentals I've stayed in, and will absolutely return!

Really nice stay location was great, had a few things that needed fixed but overall I would rate it a 5 we told the owner and he immediately offered to send someone out.

This house was perfect for us. You can’t beat the short trip to the sand and water and the balcony view was amazing. Everything we needed in the kitchen like coffee maker, cookie sheets and can opener were available. The chrome cast on the TVs were easy to use and the beds were comfortable.

My girlfriends and I got away for much needed break. The house is in a fantastic location, right on the beach. Love that. The house however is quite dated and in much need of some TLC. A thorough deep clean would help it immensely. The owner was perfect to work with, very responsive.

Was a peaceful location, with stunning views, and a clean beautiful home. All the dishes and utensils you would need to cook anything. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was already here, sand toys for the kids, beach chairs and an umbrella. Could t not have asked for a better beach house to stay at will be back yearly!
