In all the vacation homes we've rented throughout the years, this is, by far, the best! David is a wonderful host, very responsive to any questions or concerns. Checking in, the house was very clean. The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen we've ever found in a vacation home. We do 100% of our cooking at the home while vacationing, and being a large family, there are items we regularly pack, as most homes are lacking. At this house, there are large pots, LOTS of eating utensils, plenty of measuring spoons and cups, mixing bowls, pans (even cast iron). And sharp knives! Electric mixer, good blender, great coffee maker, etc. Any kitchen item that we use regularly was provided. We were able to pack away a lot of items we brought from home (pots, knives, etc). I had read in the description that beach towels were provided, but we still packed a very large bag of towels. But that was also an item that was put back in the truck. There is a large cupboard full of beach towels!! And not cheap, flimsy towels! This is a very spacious house, plenty of beds, bathrooms, large couches, and a large dining table for all our evenings of games. We appreciated the lamps throughout the house, and the gas fireplace, which provided cozy evenings when the weather was cooler and rainy. Our first week, we had family in both sides, and loved the door on the deck connecting the two sides. We all agree that we have found a new home away from home on Topsail Island. Thank you, David!

This property was very well appointed. No need to bring anything except your favorite soap and shampoo.
We had a party of about 17 and rented both sides of the house. The kitchens were so large and had everything you needed to cook any meal.
The dumbwaiter was an added bonus, since we put together a wedding cake and had to transpire it. Perfectly fit in the dumbwaiter so we didn't have to carry it down the stairs.
We made memories we will never forget! The owner was MORE than accommodating to our last minute needs. So many comments from my family about how wonderful each room was. Great sized rooms, beautiful rooms, most with ensuite.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This wedding event was perfect, in great part, because all of my guests were comfortable.

The house was perfect for our group! Large enough for all of us to stay plus room for 3 others to join us for the Thanksgiving meal. Large kitchen to cook said meal in. We loved being right on the beach. Perfect house to spend time at our Happy place of Topsail Island.

This home was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were very generous and all with great views, The furnishings were very nice too and easily accommodating to toddlers. Beds were very good too. Kitchen was superb with anything you could possibly need to feed a hungry crowd, The views off the front deck were spellbinding and when we weren't on the beach, we were sitting on the deck watching the waves roll in. David couldn't have been more accommodating and was a pleasure to work with. We hope to return for a future trip.

We vacation in topsail annually and only stay in this home. One of the best, hands down.

We will certainly make use of this property again if we return to Topsail. The location is hard to beat and the house layout worked well for our group. We let all of the kids sleep on the 1st floor, and adults slept on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The outdoor shower did have warm water which was wonderful, and the house had lots of beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. If we come again, we will bring some extra pillows and some of our bedding to increase the bed comfort. The included bedding was a bit rough and uncomfortable. But that wouldn't stop us from renting again, just an extra thing we would pack for the next trip.

We appreciated the nice, clean house. The log fireplace were such a plus to our stay. Our only complaint was that it got too cold at night. The thermostat setting was down to 63 degrees in the mornings...too cold to even been in the shower. The toilet seats were so cold to sit on. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely rent this house again. David was great to work with...always got back to us in a timely manner when we had a question.

The house was in a perfect location for easy In-N-Out access. It was very comfortable the views for magnificent. We saw dozens of dolphin while we were there.. The house does need a bit of updating.

The property was beautiful. There were some issues with the lighting. The gas fireplace had a leak so we didn’t get to use it. It was pretty clean, but the carpets were dirty. We needed more blankets. It gets cold in November. Overall a good stay.

Great Place for Family Get-together
Beautiful house with tastefully appointed rooms and a well-stocked kitchen. Go down a couple of staircases and you are directly on a wide beach along which you can walk for hours. Less than 10 minutes on foot you'll find courts for tennis, pickleball, basketball and sand volleyball, all free of charge. Ice cream shop across the street. David, the host, is very responsive if you have any questions.

Fantastic Family Vacay
We had a fantastic time as we spent a week on the beach! Plenty of room for a family of 8. Beautiful beach front with easy access to the water. Plenty of room to hang out inside as well, just a super place and a great host! Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
My family and I love this property! The house is so spacious that our party of 12 had no issues finding space to call ours! The beach is beautiful and not busy at all. Very short drives to get to dining and activities for the whole family! All in all, we LOVED our vacation here!

Perfection-Exactly what we expected & wanted!
Wedding Destination Week - Began with moving into this Exceptional Home - We each had spacious beautiful rooms with access to decks/or private balconies; views of the Ocean & Sound that we usually only dream of; completely enveloped by the glorious ebb and flow sounds of the Atlantic. We hosted 2 cozy breakfasts; one to make centerpieces for the Wedding Reception together; and one to meet Noah and Luke...TWO new men in our girls lives! The views of Sunrises and the Magical Ocean were in perfect harmony; the Fireplace took the chill off and warmed our Souls; as the television provided music to suit everyone's taste. We were even Blessed to meet the owner, David, as he and friends were staying on the other side. A total A+ Experience along with great weather made North Topsail Beach the perfect Wedding Destination. Dottie & Friends 3/14-21/22.

Wonderful Place!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property (seven 60 somethings having a women's reunion). Very well appointed. Very attractive. And nice kitchen/living/dinning space for a large group. We would definitely recommend this house and owner.

Wonderful
Wonderful house, gorgeous views, relaxing stay. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary items and more. Even a crock pot, laundry supplies and so much more. The handsoap dispensers at each sink was much appreciated as we always buy them and never can use all of it and it's a waste, so it was nice to have those and not waste the money.

Top Sail for Christmas
Incredible oceanfront location and views. Plenty of room in the house for a group of 10 people. You'll love the top floor bedroom and balcony. As well as the other two decks on the first and main floors. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds - overall great place to stay for Christmas.

Beautiful house
The house is beautiful and who can complain, ever, about being oceanfront? The furniture is comfy, and the porches are amazing with tons of seating. Nice dining spaces and huge kitchen for a multi-cook enterprise. And thank heavens for the helpful dumbwaiter! In winter, the fireplace is lovely. I will give a couple of cautions, however. The stairs are VERY steep and long flights. Not sure how anyone would get a suitcase up to the top floor - thankfully, the dumbwaiter solves that problem for the first two floors. But know that to get to the main level from the street, you will have to climb two very ling flights of steps, both quite steep. And because of all the dune-rebuilding that Topsail Island is currently engaged in, access to the beach from the house is also very difficult. Steep climbs were the watchword for our stay … but the house is lovely and a lot of people could be here in comfort and David was super easy to work with.

Best Place Ever
We got married over the weekend, and the house was everything we imagined and more! David(the host), checked in with us a couple of weeks and days before we arrived to make sure everything was ready to go. The location is great, the house is amazing, the views are spectacular! David also helped us with vendors and venues for our wedding activities! What a wonderful place and a wonderful host! This is now our go to vacation spot forever! Try it and you’ll never want to leave!

Fantastic Property
The first statement made when we walked in the door was, "Wow! This is a lot better than where we stayed last year!" The house was very clean, well supplied with all the essentials, and in good working order! Had the opportunity to meet David, the owner, in person; he was a fantastic host thoughout the entire rental process! We will definitely plan to rent this property again!!

We had a WONDERFUL time at this property in October 2021. We had a slight mix up with the booking, which the owner worked very diligently to solve. He was attentive and very responsive to everything we contacted him about. The property was exactly as described. Quiet location right on the water, tons of room for all of us - big open kitchen and dining area. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommended!

The property is beautiful and was perfect for me and my family. David provided immediate and excellent assistance with any questions I had. I enjoyed my stay so much I stayed an extra week and worked from the beach!! I am already looking forward to staying again next year.

What a lovely property. Enough room for everyone to have rooms with private bathrooms. The living area accommodated everyone easily. What a pleasure to make meals together in such a large well stocked kitchen. The views are amazing and the beach was wonderful. Everyone had a great time. This is my new favorite shore house!

Retirement Week
What a beautiful home to spend my first week of retirement on the beach. So nice to have a shower to hose off and a private shower with warm water on those cooler days to wash off the sand. Another nice thing was having beach toys for the grand children to play with. The home is beautifully decorated and lots of room. The kitchen is large and spacious for family members to sit and talk and cook. Highly recommend this beach rental!
