We stayed here from 5/17/24 - 5/22/24. We were 8 adults total. The house is very nice. It was very warm when we first arrived. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We found out quickly if you open the bedroom doors it helps to cool the rest of the house. The house was well equipped with kitchen items and we were able to cook a few meals. It was nice to be able to grill. The bedrooms were all decent sized and the beds were super comfy. We got great use out of the pool. Also the egg chair outside was a favorite of everyone’s to sit and relax in. We were so close to grocery stores and to town. The amount of restaurants within a 5 mile area is very extensive. We really loved this house. We all agreed if we ever come back we will definitely book here again.

Stayed here with a group of 8 adults. Great location that was a quick drive to town and a short trip to most popular locations in the area. Gated property that felt safe the entire time we were there.

This place was great! It had enough space for all 8 of us. The beds were large and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the places you want to go and see. We had a car so that made it easy. The living areas didn’t have ac, so we left the doors to the bedroom open when we could but it got very warm. The pool was nice and relaxing, though there wasn’t much shade so the tiles were very hot. It was too hot to simply lounge by the pool. We used the tour company to book several tours. It was very easy and affordable. We also had a home cooked meal at a love couples home next door. It was perfect for our last night in Costa Rica!

We really enjoyed the house and location, and had a fantastic week of high adventure and sightseeing. The Home Vacation folks were quick to answer questions and provide useful information. They also arranged all our activities with terrific tours and guides. There’s something for everybody in La Fortuna. Pura Vida!

We spent a few days at this property, there were 9 of us. The kids loved the pool but we did discover after my daughter’s suit got ruined that there was a lot of scum in the pool, we asked for it to be cleaned but it only got stirred up. We did continue to use it but pretty disappointed a brand new suit is garbage from the pool. The rest of the house was good, met our needs. There is a grill but no charcoal is provided, we were able to get it at the store. There’s air conditioning in the bedrooms that worked great but the living area did get quite warm (normal in Costa Rica). The views of the volcano are absolutely spectacular and although in a little community the house feels very quiet and secluded! We also felt it was safe and secure!

This house was perfect for our adventures in La Fortuna! The kids loved the pool, and it was a great location for our planned excursions. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient and just a few minutes from several of the activities we did. Beautiful volcano view from the pool. The only issue we had at the house was septic smell coming from outdoor 4th bedroom. We notified the property manager and Pablo nicely brought over an air freshener but said they need to dig up the toilet or it’s possibly the shower drain, a 2 day process, to try to fix the issue. The bad smell continued to be pretty strong, even with the air fresheners. Hope that can be fixed soon for other guests. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!

We stayed at this property in February and it is just as pictured. Plenty of room for our family of five (kids ages 4-13) and very clean and spacious. Location very convenient to all La Fortuna has to offer and the view of the volcano on a clear day is gorgeous! But the absolute best part was how well Eder and Allen took care of us. Due to flight delays we arrived very late and Eder stayed in contact with us, waited and helped direct us to the property. He really went above and beyond for us. Every day they helped arrange tours and activities for our whole family and their restaurant recommendations were spot on! Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to everything.

This house was an awesome home base for our time in La Fortuna. We had 2 families traveling together and there was plenty of space. Kids loved the pool. House was a short drive from down town. Great place and would stay again.

Location is close to downtown and many attractions. House was clean, and had everything you needed. Management company stays in touch and very helpful for any bookings.

house was exactly what we were looking for, just outside Fortuna, with volcano view! Alonso was a great help…always available! everything was as per the listing and even better…close to alot of activities… wouldn’t hesitated to rent this house again! only one small blemish, there was loud music on one night at the neighbors, till 3am! nothing to do with property manager but something for him to look into. still very satisfied with this property and location!!!

The house was perfect for our group of 3 couples. The only negative was the sewer smell the first evening. I contacted the property manager and it was corrected the next day. Also, the 4th bedroom and bathroom must be accessed from out side the main house. The pool was clean and refreshing. Kitcen was well appointed and spacious. Proximity to La Fortuna was great. View of volcano was great if you can catch it before the cloud cover. We would stay again:)

This was a perfect property. I travelled with my husband and 3 children (21, 20, 16) over Christmas. A highlight of my kids trip was the El Salto Rope Swing. This was a quick 10 minute walk from the property and apparently the only free thing to do in La Fortuna. My kids loved it. The property was lovely and very comfortable for the 5 of us. Eder planned all of our excursions with wonderful vendors. We were picked up from our home and dropped off when the activities were done. He arranged everything. It was very easy to communicate with the property manager and everything was handled with great professionalism. I would recommend this property and using the travel agent services as Eder made planning so simple for us. For reference, we went canyoning, white water rafting, on a private volcano hike, spent an evening at Baldi Hot Springs, and rode ATVs. It was perfect.

We loved this place. Clean and nicely updated. Very comfortable. Close to town but a long walk. The company that does the property management was great. Very responsive to questions and set us up on a number of adventures. Best was the safari float with Carlos as our guide- wonderful!!!

Since this was the first vacation for us with our 7 month old baby, we knew we needed a place that was clean, safe, an easy commute to main attractions and nice enough to enjoy on its own. And this property knocked it out of the park! The house itself was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything we needed- crib and highchair included. The pool and patio area is just as pictured- great landscaping and the view of Arenal Volcano is spectacular. Finally, Allen was very helpful throughout our entire stay. He even helped us arrange for pizza delivery on our last night.

We stayed here for four nights while in La Fortuna. The check in process was to go to their office in town and then a representative takes you to the property and explains everything. This process was smooth and the rep was very friendly. The place is fantastic, well maintained and extremely clean. We could not have asked for a better place. The location is great, about a 90 second drive into “downtown”. I would highly recommend this place.

We were 2 families with 4 teenage boys- this house was perfect! Everyone had their own bed, great outdoor dining area and an amazing view of Arenal Volcano! We had our morning coffee in the pool looking at Arenal and toucans in the trees - pretty fantastic! Easy to get to hikes and a short walk to the rope swing. Property management were super helpful and assisted us with booking excursions- this is a great property!

The house was very comfortable - beds and seating. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dinning spaces and the view of the volcano from the pool. The house is located a very short drive or about a 20 min nice walk to shops etc. the landscape is stunning with beautiful flowers and fruit trees. Eder was a pleasure to communicate with and was very welcoming, responsive and helpful. Would stay there again for sure!

This house is very spacious and was perfectly suited for our family of 4. We spent most of the time on the shaded patio and in the pool. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals and each bedroom has AC and comfy beds. The only thing missing was AC in the living room. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is wonderful! It worked out perfectly for our group. The house seems newly renovated. The pool was great and kept very clean. I want to also thank Alonso for all of his help. Before we arrived he helped with making our arrangements as far as activities. While we were there he helped with getting us transportation when it was not provided. He was wonderful to deal with. The house was located not far from town(the younger crowd was fine with the walk) but after all we did the older crowd was happier with a taxi or uber. Would stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Very helpful staff setting up tours and making recommendations. Giselle’s breakfasts and dinners were great too! Loved Alonzo’s tour through Mistico Park!!

Great property only a few minutes from town. Convenient for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. So nice having staff on the property for any issues that might arise. Plenty of roominess for our family of 7. Pool was super clean and had a direct view of Arenal Volcano. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying in this place in La Fortuna - not on the main road, so nice and quiet, but not far away either. It was fantastic to be able to see the volcano from the yard and the pool was small, but very welcome place to relax and cool off. The covered porch was great too - especially once we found the “turbo” ceiling fan that gave us a great breeze! A/C in the bedrooms. The house was great too. We would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our group of 10 and it had the most amazing view of the volcano while relaxing on the porch.

We stayed 3 nights in March. The house is clean, safe, pretty close to town, and kitchen is fairly well stocked with appliances/dishes etc, although no dishwasher. The biggest downside we felt was that although the bedrooms have individual A/C units that worked well, the central area of the home (living room, kitchen area) is not air conditioned and even leaving the bedroom doors open to try to cool the entire area and using ceiling fans, was uncomfortably warm. Also there is no electrical outlet in the master bath so that was inconvenient (for drying hair). The showers are open design which looks nice, but functionally poorly designed as water leaks onto the (master) bathroom floor and soaks the mat. On the positive side the tour we arranged (Mistico/Volcano hike/waterfall) through the company was awesome and our guide, Alonso, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would use this property manager again but would not rent this specific house again due to above issues.

This place must be pretty new. It had more room than we needed, so would accommodate a much larger party. We had four adults. From la Fortuna it’s on the way to the waterfalls.

This place was great for tripping with a large group or family around Arenal. It is perfectly located on the outskirts of Fortuna, walking distance from Salto Falls rope swing, downtown and one of our favourite restaurants in La Fortuna, Tiquicia. It is also a short drive from many of the most popular attractions in the Arenal area and, if you do not have transportation, Eder and team can easily book and organize trips for you. The house is spacious with a lovely little kitchen with a good sized fridge, charcoal bbq and laundry. The bedrooms are a good size and there is even a separate more private bedroom with an onsuite bathroom that is close to the pool. The property has lots of flowers and trees which attract some beautiful birds. Sitting with a tea in the morning to watch the humming birds feed on the birds of paradise was a real treat. If you are not into cooking on your vacation they serve lovely home cooked meals on the villa. You can have authentic Costa Rican food, which they will even teach you to cook, or North American options are also available. The cook does not speak English but this is not a problem even if you are not willing to learn a few words of Spanish ahead of time. My only complaint from the stay is that I would have liked the garbage picked up more frequently. There was also a lot of renovation work going on in the neighbouring homes which was noisy at times in the morning but if you are out doing activities a lot, as we were, this is not a big problem. Not any .ore noisy than the howler monkeys are in other locations. Overall the place was excellent and I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Three couples traveling CR and we loved our Fortuna stop. Host was very helpful coordinating activities we were interested in. Overall one of our favorite stay.

Enjoyed the stay and the food cooked by Gizelle was wonderfully delicious.
