Good location, well equipped kitchen, big room.

The place was cold inside in the cold weather, there is no heating. So, take this into account.

I thought I have booked the room with the bathroom, but on the place we found out that two of the rooms share the same bathroom. The parking close to the house is unpayable over night only.

The home was very clean, spacious with a large fully equipped kitchen, and sitting area. Location was perfect, very close to the beach, marina, cafes and restaurants.

The house is newly renovated, they gave us fruits from their garden, they have a nice kitchen and the owner's son gave us a ride to the airport very early in the morning because we had a flight at 6 AM

Our room didn't have private bathroom (however we didn't really have any issues with this as it was free every time we needed it)

There are so many great things to say about our host and the accommodation, but the best thing was without any doubt the friendliness and helpfulness of our host. Whenever you are in need of some tips about what to do or see in the neighbourhood or if you want to have a nice address for a restaurant, she is always willing to help you out. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen, with even some of the basics available (water, olive oil, some spices). The shared bathroom also has a really nice view over the mountains and the balcony is a nice place to sit before you go to bed.

Our room was on the side of the road, which meant there was sometimes a lot of noise keeping us awake at night. It also did not help that we went to Vila Franco do Campo during the "cultural week", which meant there were a lot of concerts in the neighbourhood. Another small issue we faced, that had absolutely nothing to do with our host, but rather with the other guests, was that the bathroom we shared with 2 other rooms was more often than not left an absolute mess. The mirror was full of toothpaste, the sink was left as wet as the Atlantic Ocean and there was a lot of hair everywhere.
