The house was located in a great position close to the lake with great views. Easy walk to the shop and the boat club.

a lot of things were not in working order. washing machine did not work umbrella over spa did not work mould in the bottom of the shower owner claimed we took bedding home when we did not. toilet and bathroom doors did not lock properly doors would not lock properly or lock you inside the bedroom leak from the bathroom door onto carpet There was no adequate pantry space

The hosts were easy to communicate with and assisted me with check over the phone when I needed to ask a question. They also allowed us to check in early and late checkout when requested. Spectacular views of lake Eildon from the lounge area, front deck and spa. An abundance of birdlife in the area, we were greeted by Kookaburras, King Parrots and Kangaroos. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, including some basic food staples and a delightful complimentary bottle of bubbles. Large BBQ on front deck, perfect for a breakfast cook up or dinner with a view. Wifi included which worked without any glitches. Beds were comfortable with high quality linen, more than enough bedding for all guests. Fire place heated the whole house and we didn’t need to use any of the heaters. Mansfield only a short drive away to get supplies.

The location of the house was perfect !! Spa was fabulous. After spending a hectic day at Mount Buller coming back and relax in the warm tub with a great view of the lake was heavenly. Kitchen facility , laundry, bedding and heating were good and sufficient. Fire places indoor and outdoor were a delight and cosy for the evening get together.

Needed more bathroom/toilet when it’s a group. shower was bit mouldy. There were few spider webs on the ceiling above the head in one bedroom which we cleaned ourselves as kids were troubled to sleep there. considering the shortage of bathroom/ toilet 750 per day was high.

slightly cramped with all the furniture and beds for 10. a little “decluttering” would make it much more spacious and amenable.
