The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Cosy, clean and inviting

Superb cottage with everything you need, kitchen, washer, dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, comfy beds, soaker tub, nearby co-op for groceries, even a charity shop up the hill as well as the moor to look over. Enjoyed a lovely terrace with plants all over, the kitty cat visits, we would highly recommend! Amazing stay, we did not want to leave!

Lovely warm cottage, with great view. Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly communication with the owner. Fabulous Indian restaurant just up the road!

Very friendly owners who let us check out later due to the bad snow conditions. The location was brilliant and not a far drive into Huddersfield centre. Would definitely recommend if you're thinking of staying in Huddersfield.

Excellent little cottage, very comfortable bed brilliant bathroom and kitchen. In a quiet part of Huddersfield be weary of the hills though!! Can’t really find anything to fault Already planning our next visit

Front and back door ‘sticking’ difficult to open and close maybe it was the weather

That was personal touches that just went along way in regards to the left bread milk and butter so we had something for when we arrived it was very clean and would definitely stay again as it’s close to our family

the property was gorgeous. we absolutely loved the cottage and surroundings. the cottage was just perfect.

we loved everything.

We had only booked the cottage but was greeted with fresh milk, bread, butter and cupboards full of dried foods, tea, coffee, sugar even cereals. Spoke to host who informed snowed earlier in the morning, we had discussed going for a ramble and he went to alter the combi boiler to make the cottage cosy for our arrival.

What a beautiful quirky cottage, so cosy and homely. We really enjoyed our stay here and wished it was for longer. Everything we needed for our stay was supplied and Robert went out of his way to help us find a parking space. The village was lovely too (you need to be fit to walk up those steep cobbles :-)). The Indian there was fabulous.
