الفندق نظيف وجميل ، استقبالهم وتنسيق الغرفه متميز ، ايضا تم ارسال هدايا من السكان المحليين لنا عباره عن حلوى شعبية . يوجد الكثير من الفعاليات في الفيلا وخارجها ، يوجد فعاليات مجانية واحده كل يوم ، السبا راقي جدا ، الافطار محدود .

I was staying in villa 104 (villa with private pool) during Christmas. The hotel service is HORRIBLE. We left the make my room sign at 9 am and still no one came to make our room when we were back at 4 pm. The hotel’s food is ATROCIOUS. They had leftover food from previous night for breakfast. The room service is also HORRIBLE. We asked them to bring plates and no one came. We asked them to clear used plates and no one came. They also left a dirty towel with black dirt after room service. This is not what would you would expect from a 5-star hotel and when you’re paying so much. To compensate their behaviour the General Manager gave us apology voucher of 800 baht. But we weren’t allowed to use it as they deducted it from a much smaller amount the previous day (it was valid until March 2024). What an irony in the form of an apology. The staff was also quite rude about everything pretending they don’t understand us. Tell me why would I waste my hard earned money at this place which is more expensive than 5 star chains but the service is not even comparable. It is also so far from humanity but few activities within the resort. No one helped us with our luggage either. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SPENDING THIS KIND OF MONEY AND STAYING AT OTHER 5 star resorts in Chiang Mai where you can get better service.

The resort was absolutely amazing. Loved every bit of stay. Villa was very clean, bed very comfortable and the private pool was bliss. Would definitely recommend Thantara to anyone.

the stuff was nice but really not professional. the waiters didn’t know nothing about the menu and not even spoke English. the bartender couldn’t tell me in English about the cocktails.
