The house was well appointed and was very updated. It was very clean. The house was so cozy. The hot tub was huge and very clean. We did not get a chance to use the kayak or go on the lake because it was cold, however the area by the water is also well thought out with chairs and a fire pit with a view of the water. The only thing I would have changed is to have a railing that goes around the lower platform of the back deck (on the right side) and lighting at night on the steps that go down the back porch. Other than that everything was great!

This was a great house - the location was perfect and the hot tub was amazing! We would definitely stay here again. The host was also very easy to communicate with.

The house was perfect for our needs. Hot tub was great on the cold days. We were able to fish from the dock. Nice location. The host, Ray, was friendly, helpful and always available to contact.

very nice home, the kids loved the hot tub. the place was clean and neat. Check in was. very easy.. I wish we knew we could get in at 2 rather than 4 pm. The check in process was a bit secretive for some reason (even after you pay, you don't know all the details of the house until about 6 days before you arrive... I don't know why? It is a lovely place. )

Everything was as expected. Easy access to all stores and major highways. Just note only towels and bed linens are included, not wash cloths. There were plenty of trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, and toliet paper for our short stay. Love the wood burning fireplace. We want to book this house this summer as well.

Between the hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, beautiful lake and other amenities, there is plenty to do without ever leaving the property. However, it is also close to Camelback and other fun locations. The host is very friendly and easy to reach.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with our 4 kids. Camelback was 25 minutes away and this lake house was perfect to cozy up after a day on the slopes. We all loved the hot tub, fireplace, and lake views. Kids loved the bunk beds. Very clean. Owner was communicative and friendly. Long line at the office to get parking passes but it moved very quickly and the staff were kind and helpful, was easy. Would definitely rent again.

Everything at the house is in order, fresh and clean and obviously well kept. Stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. Fanstasic location. Owner was in touch to make sure everything was good. We will be back to enjoy the house again in the summer months too!

Words cannot adequately describe how beautiful that was. The house was quite cozy for my family and kids. The jacuzzi was our favorite feature. Since I was texting Ray, the host, with any query I had regarding the house or other issues, like the pools, he was incredibly nice and helpful. If you want to spend quality time with family or friends, my wife and I heartily recommend Ray and his home. Even my children were upset as we left the house because we didn't want to go. I swear I'll be at the same house next year.

This place was amazing!! The home was just as advertised and was spotless. The lake was relaxing and my husband loved being able to stand on the pier and go fishing. The neighbor amenities were were wonderful; pools, beaches and plenty of playgrounds for younger visitors. We can’t wait to book again !

We very much enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a quiet residential neighborhood right on Lake Carobeth. The amenities listed are accurate, although you may want to pack extra flatware, face towels, washcloths and dishcloths. The bathroom on the first floor was tiny but shower, toilet and sink all worked well. Our daughter needed to devise a makeshift tub stopper to bathe her 2 year-old in the upstairs tub. Our biggest disappointment was that the 5 days we stayed here Lake Carobeth had harmful algae bloom so we could not boat/kayak safely. That, of course, was not the fault of the host. However, we felt he should have been aware of this and alerted us. We did spend a day at Tobyhanna State Park which is close by. Another problem we encountered was that we were not given the welcome packet upon check-in. When we arrived at the pool with our barcoded pool passes we learned that we needed the purple passes as well to enter. This was not the host’s fault either, but we do recommend that a note should be included with barcoded passes to alert guests to this requirement. The lighting on the path to the dock needs some repairs for safety and the cushions on indoor and outdoor porch furniture is rather dirty. The overhead lighting in the living room is broken and no other lamps. If you have small children like we did you will probably want to relocate the large glass cylinders next to the fireplace and the two-tier glass coffee table. Overall we had a great time and made many memories.

The owner gave very clear written expectations for our stay meaning what was provided in the house, how to check in, use the key pad, and how to check out. Hot tub, row boat, and walkway to lake could use some up keep. Seems like owner is in process of updating outside back deck and steps. House was very clean. All appliances worked and we used the washer/dryer frequently. Lake is amazing. My son was out before sun rise fishing and the kids loved the two person kayak. Trash can was already full when we arrived but we stacked on top as instructed. Bedding, sheets and towels were all freshly laundered. We had a great time. Owner was also very nice when we accidentally set off the fire alarm. Be careful w that touch pad!

It was a great property! Lots of wildlife in the back yard and enough room for all 8 of us. I do wish there was a sponge or towels to hand wash dishes and more trash bags where provided. But other wise it was a great experience.

My husband and I took our three kids under 8 for a short, two night stay. Ray was extremely helpful even before we checked in. Everything was nice and accurate compared to the pictures. Neighborhood felt safe and the park was great for the kids. Wish our stay was longer!

This is a beautiful comfortable clean home with great views and serene landscape! perfect vacation getaway either with family and friends. My friends and I recently stayed here and I must say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Firstly, the property itself was stunning. It was clean, modern and well-equipped with everything we needed during our stay. The layout was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook up some delicious meals. But what really made this stay stand out was the exceptional service we received from the property owner. From the moment we booked, they were extremely responsive and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even went out of their way to provide us with some extra amenities and tips on local attractions.. Overall, I cannot recommend this property enough. If you are looking for a comfortable, well-equipped getaway this VRBO is definitely the one for you. Thanks to the owner for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful relaxing lake front property Can’t wait to go back later this year

My wife and I wanted a few days away from home. It was close enough to central Jersey that one married son with his wife and baby came for 2 nights along with one unmarried son. We were hoping for snow just for effect but didn’t work out this year. We relaxed by the fireplace and did some hiking. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were available. The owner was very responsive. More than enough room to park the 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay

A perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The property is very clean, cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The lake views are gorgeous, especially at sunset. We had a great time at the cabin. It’s exactly as advertised! The host is very attentive to any questions. It really was a wonderful getaway!

Overall property and check in process was phenomenal and the house was very clean. The hot tub and fire pit by the lake were definitely highlights. Only issues we noted was that most of the bathroom and bedroom doors don’t stay shut/lock, and the HVAC unit caused the wall to vibrate downstairs and was very loud.

Our stay was very nice and relaxing. If you like just relaxing near the water, fishing, kayaking, or relaxing in the hot tub or near a nice fire pit at night you found the right place to stay. All the necessities are also inside the house. Would definitely stay here again.
