Worst experience ever

Owner manager doesn't know how to respect guest, learn self respect first. Manager was not present at check-in time, I had to wait 1-2 hour outside. Room and washroom are not clean. Location is not so good. There are better option in dehradun.You cannot use kitchen properly. Not safe for traveller. No proper common area, terrace they have tent which is common area. No assistance provided at all. Worst experience ever.They have mentioned 4 bed dormitory and made it 5 bed dormitory for each room. Water kept running out. I was in middle of something and water runs out 3-4 times. No proper management. Beds are not comfortable. No proper fan. No locker for dorm. So many minus points in hostel.Please improve.

The Owner, Umesh uncle, is very friendly and welcoming. I was very comfortable in the tent. The places around the hostel are really nice and peaceful, and away from the roars of the city. The forests, the Buddhist monasteries, the Tibetan food are all very close by (walking distance). The night becomes very quiet and comfortable to relax and sleep.

Comfortable, clean, considerate, quiet, good value, convenient location, away from the chaos of town, close to the Tibetan monastery with nice cafes, restaurants and shops. Umesh is an overall cool guy and a great host, who treats everyone like family. His wife fed me awesome foods. Guddi, is very pleasant and attentive and makes the stay as comfortable as possible. There are several buildings with various types of rooms, from dorms to single rooms to apartments. I also met friendly and interesting travelers there. The rooftop, a chill place to hang out with lots of nice plants is like the hanging garden of Babylon. I came as a guest and am leaving as family.

I loved the hospitality here. It was just like a homely place, away from home. Mr. Umesh, both his parents and the manager Sonali make sure they're there for us, all the time. They will also help you plan the itinerary to visit the places nearby. Cleanliness is also at par and if you need, they'll cook food for you as well, ofc chargeable. Overall it was fulfilling experience
