when we arrived the host was very apologetic and refunded our money straightaway

no one had any explanation on why our booking was not validated, it had been payed for in full 5 months before hand and all confirmed with emails and reference number etc. after reporting this all to customer services, apologies were repeatedly given but with no explanation. our fully planned Xmas and new year break was ruined, all bookings to restaurants and new year celebrations had to be cancelled.

Super location and very spacious flat. We really enjoyed staying here and our work at the nearby convention centre was made so much more convenient because of this.

This property is advertised as being a two bedroom, two bathroom flat. In reality, it is a two bedroom flat with an en suite full bathroom (shower only) in the main bedroom and a guest loo consisting of a hand basin and toilet. That is NOT a full bathroom. This was fine for our stay, as there were only two of us, but if we had been three, it would have been awkward. The main bedroom is perfect for a couple, while the second bedroom has a single bed only. Mouldy mastic in shower. A bit expensive

This is a beautiful home from home, quite literally on the edge of Harrogate. Within a few mins walk of the town center and all its many attractions, restaurants etc. Betty’s cafe, Harrogate Spa. The standard of accommodation is excellent with all rooms beautifully designed and decorated. It boasts stunning pieces of furniture and very good quality furnishings, bedding, towels. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook a full meal, should you chose to and we were gifted a very useful and thoughtful welcome pack with everything needed to get you going. A very very nice place to stay and enjoy the surroundings.

The place is really clean, big comfy rooms, good brands equipment, lots of complimentary useful things. Very responsive and helpful owner

The hoover was not clean and it smelled a little

Bed - super comfy. Location great. Whole apartment v comfortable and luxurious.

Yapping dog in flat above. Kitchen is fantastic but could do with some extras - measuring jug, scales, wooden spoons.

For a single couple this apartment would rate a 10; but for 2 couples sharing it was not ideal. The ad mentions 2 bathrooms - but that is not correct. The only shower is in the ensuite; the 2nd bathroom is a toilet only. If you are travelling with someone you don't know very well having to get into the shower via the bedroom is awkward. Also, I didn't realise until we got there that the bed for the 4th person would be a sofa bed. When I rechecked the ad I did find that information but it is quite well down the list. Also, parking was available for 1 car but we could never find space for the 2nd - although there was room out on the street at the back.

Loved the décor, the welcome card, the generosity of the owner. It was very spacious and the beds were so comfy. The towels were large and fluffy and there was plenty of space.

More than one key would have been handy actually. Also, could not open any windows for fresh air. Finally, sleeps five yet only 4 chairs available at the dining table and no others available in the apartment.

Great care taken to ensure a very comfortable and clean stay. Good facilities and lots of space in the property, beautiful Victorian decor and its perfect walking distance from the city centre. The host Kirstyn was very responsive and helpful with sharing clear instructions and also provided us with little goodies that was much appreciated!

Nothing really- just a few suggestions for improvement would be to have a coat hanger & shoe rack at the entrance (to avoid that lovely carpet from getting stained) and a recycling bin.

Complimentary food, snacks, drinks, plentiful and high quality Furniture, fittings, linens soft furnishings beautiful. Crockery, glasses and housekeeping amenities all fully available for your comfort.

Location excellent short walk into town. Host gave us milk, eggs and treats, a lovely gesture. Kitchen very well equipped. Apartment beautifully decorated.

A plug by the mirror would be an asset for us ladies to use
