Ami's House for Women Only was my home away from home; I felt safe, secure and welcomed. It's in the perfect spot in Corfu Town to explore or even get lost for a bit in this beautiful city. My room reminded me of a painting by Van Gogh; his bedroom in Arles, France. The bed was so comfortable; I slept very well. The bathroom is large with a huge bathtub; it's clean and spacious. I enjoyed meeting Ami and the other guests from different parts of the world. Staying here was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back.

The place was warm, had plenty of blankets, heaters, towels and hot water. Most toiletries were provided. Staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious, including the bathroom.

The place is in a state of disrepair. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were dirty. Like they hadn't seen soap and water in a long long time.

very convenient to transport and walking distances to almost all places of interest. The bus to the airport and port are 3 mins walk away, as is the bus station. The new fort and old town are likewise minutes of walk away. The owner Ami was very kind and most helpful. He provided water and allowed the use of his kitchen facilities. The house is old and retains a lot of the original character.

This is not a criticism by any means. Just be aware that the rooms are connected and people will have to pass through your room to get to theirs and to the toilet/bathroom. The house is cluttered with a lot of things.

Really welcoming, accommodating and friendly host! The centre of town is right out the front door! The bed was comfortable.

Hopefully the bathroom renovations are complete soon. But I was well accommodated around the repairs!

Great host! Magnificent location right in the heart of Corfu. Ami was extremely helpful and welcoming. The property was full of character. Would stay again.

Great Location directly in the city centre.

No privacy. Doors can't be locked. To go to the bathroom you have to enter and walk through other people rooms or walk two floors down. It needs some renovation, the owner tries to adjust some of the stuff by itself but the result is poor. All in all it doesn't feel safe. I was happy to stay there for only one night.

the host is a man. I thought it would be a woman. I was also the only woman there which Jade me uncomfortable. old facilities.

Friendly host and place is in the heart of the city centre.

Ami's house is a perfect place to stay while travelling around Corfu. Ami is a very friendly person and the old house has a great atmosphere. The location couldn't be better as it's just around the corner from the city center and short/long-distance bus stops. Kitchen is well equipped, Ami keeps the house clean and although it's a dorm, there is a space for privacy - if you're lucky you will even have a single room for the same price.

Very very dirty place! No kettle in kitchen. No shower. It seems like there newer been cleaner! Booking.com need to inspect this place immediately

Loved the location and the hosts

This is a great option if you travel alone, also the host is super friendly and helpful. The location is also great.

It's indeed dormitory format and some areas of the house need renovations, but everything is working and it remind me of an old style apartments which is charming in a way. Just be prepared for it.

the owner had sheets etc piled and not folded. I had to request to get clean sheets as they were not changed when I arrived. no hot water in bathroom or kitchen. no kettle. microwave did not work. the basics were not there. I know it is an old house but no hot water makes it impossible to clean anything - your body. what you are eating off etc

The location could not be better. Literally few steps from one of the main streets. The bed was very comfy and clean. Same with towels. Ami was very helpful and nice. Huge collection of shampoos, shower gels, body lotions and so on in the bathroom A balcony for drying clothes and towels. Easy check in and check out in any hour. Lamp and plug next to bed. The airport is 20 minutes walk - no need to use the bus.

I saw some people said the place was dirty. I do not think so. The bed, floor, bathtub, toilet, sink - everything was clean. The place was messy, if anything. There is just a lot of stuff everywhere. Would be nice to have some locker or wardrobe to put clothes in, but i was there only for one night, so it was okay.

This was my second stay in Amis House. I liked the location and Ami's attitude and helpfulness

Nothing specific

What you see is what you get. It is as seen on the pictures. But especially for this price, for me it was fine to stay for one night (before going to the airport the next day). Also, the location is great. You walk down the street and you immediately get to the Main Street. The busstation was also really close by. The owner was very nice and helpful.

The room didn't have AC. It did have a fan, but it was still pretty hot during the night.

I do not think I was given the same accommodation that I signed up for on Booking.com. I registered for a single room (one bed only in the room) but I was assigned a double. I’d written of my late arrival time but the proprietor seemed surprised that I arrived at all. I think I was lucky to get the bed I did. it was actually more comfortable than the single and I didn’t have people walking through my room to get to theirs as many other guests did. I would consider staying again for 1-3 nights.

Ami was lovely. It was cosy and perfect.
